My mum was taken in to chatterwood on the 21st January 2026. We had cared for her at home but she needed full time care. She was suffering with cancer of her mouth and was on palliative care. We all knew she had limited time left . On arriving at the home we were greeted with such a wonderful warm
welcome . Which put my mum at ease straight away, she knew that she wouldn't be coming back home and was very anxious about going into the home. The staff made my mum and us as a family feel very comfortable. They settled her in her room ( which we had chosen prior to my mum arriving) it was a lovely bright room and they had set it up as we had requested. Moving the bed and furniture into a more comfortable setting for my mum. I stayed with her for a few hours , then my sister came early evening. Little did we know but this was the last time we saw our mother. As we had a call around 2.15 am that our mother had passed away. We can't fault the care and attention my mum received. Thank you

From the moment we came through the door and every one welcome my mum, we knew from this beautiful greeting this care home were going to look after her in her final days excellently. It was a short stay for my mum but she felt very relaxed before she passed and how this was told to me was
reassuring. The staff were attentive, caring and just wonderful for mum and our family.
Thank you so much for you support in a time which was so difficult for our family.
The manager Jeanette was so warm, supportive and comforting. Thank you to her and all the staff even the house keeper who packed her things up with dignity and respect.

Always a happy & friendly atmosphere. People always willing to help. I feel my Mum is cared for and that takes a lot of pressure off of me.

Lovely place! Mum had been through very traumatic op and combined with her dementia was in need of stability as she adjusted. Care has been geat.Lots of activities organised and she has settled and most of all we feel that she is in safe hands.

My mum was only at Chatterwood for the final 5 months of her life. But in that short time the staff at Chatterwood ensured my mum was well cared for with compassion and dignity. All the staff throughout the home were always so friendly and caring and took the time to get to know her. Would fully
recommend people to consider it for their loved ones.

My mother was in Chatterwood for a short time for end of life care. The staff were all brilliant, with my Mum, and with us family. They were attentive, kind and thoughtful as well as being professional, honest and caring all through my mother's short stay. She sadly passed away on the 3rd June and
the staff went above and beyond to make sure her last days were as comfortable as possible. I cannot fault their care and dedication.

My husband was a resident at Chatterwood from mid January until the beginning of April, when we were able to effect his transfer to home so he could be cared for here. The care he received at Chatterwood was extremely good, the staff were kind and caring. There were individual staff members who
really went the extra mile for him, and we are grateful for everything done for him. We would recommend Chatterwood for its homely feel and wrap around care/

Outstanding care in a beautiful environment. I have immense praise for all the staff for their care and kindness to their clients. The home is wonderfully clean and well presented. This was my second experience with Chatterwood House Nursing Home. My mother moved there in 2020 and after a visit with
her, my aunt asked me if she could also move there when the time came as she could see how lovely the home was and the outstanding care. Both my mother and aunt were very happy at Chatterwood.

The staff at Chatterwood House Nursing Home are exceptional care givers who consistently go above and beyond in their dedication to residents. Their genuine compassion and expert care have given my mother the best possible quality of life and I have complete peace of mind knowing shes in such
capable hands. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The first time I visited, I was greeted by a very friendly reception team and escorted to my friend's room. I was offered a tea or coffee. My friend's care was amazing - she wanted for nothing/ I regularly saw a member of staff sitting holding her hand and comforting her. The room and home was
spotless. I recommend Chatterwood House Nursing Home 100%!

My friend was treated with kindness and compassion throughout her short stay.
The staff were attentive and everyone went the extra mile.
The staff were always checking in with me to make sure I was ok and coping, offering refreshments and a friendly ear. The cleaning staff as well were always
engaging with me and were so kind as well as the medical team.
I would not hesitate to recommend this nursing home.

We were immediately made to feel welcome. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made my Mum feel welcome and safe. I would recommend it.

My dear mum was looked after so well at Chatterwood. The staff were lovely and friendly - the building and surroundings were beautiful. There were great activities for Mum to join in with - singers, and cookery, on the day she left us there was a fun D-Day event. It was an emotional and sad day for
me and my family as we gathered close to Mum as she went on her final journey but the staff looked after us - and made a room available for us to use next door to Mum and supplied us with tea, coffee and snacks etc. I would recommend this home a thousand times over for the care and attention they gave to my mum.

I would like to thank the staff of Chatterwood House for all their care, compassion, and courtesy of my wife while she was with them. Nothing was too much trouble she was treated with dignity and kindness during her stay and on her passing. They not only treated my wife they cared for the wider
family also. All of the team from top to bottom were without exception fabulous. We will be forever grateful to everyone for their compassion, help professionalism, and care of my wife. I am so glad that my wife was transferred from the hospital to Chatterwood House I will be eternally grateful to everyone there, she had 5-star treatment whilst there.

My father was moved from the hospital to Chatterwood for palliative care. He was there for 3 weeks and was cared for by a very kind and professional staff who treated him with great dignity. When the paramedics were called to him they were extremely impressed with the nursing capabilities at
Chatterwood, and my father was kept out of pain and as comfortable as possible throughout his short stay. The whole team were without exception kind and caring to my father, but also very kind and caring to the family. I could not recommend them all more highly, from the carers to the nurses and all the behind-the-scenes staff too.

Chatterwood House Nursing Home is first class in my opinion, he could not have been in a better place at the end of his life. The staff looked after him like family. And kept us fully informed at all stages, I would highly recommend.
