Resident was drooling at the service and attention provided by the (very helpful) staff, particularly the ladies! Loves his breakfast and the porridge but has developed a taste for the good life here, being somewhat pampered, like a cat purring! Wouldn't mind being here myself, but am probably equally spoiled at home by my (very youthful) lady friend. The manager is very helpful.

My husband arrived at Peel House having spent 5weeks in hospital. I have seen a huge improvement in him physically. He is kept clean and comfortable and is obviously being well cared for. All the members of staff are.very friendly and give me an update on my husband's condition nearly every day. I cannot thank you enough.

A Truly Loving and Supportive Care Home I cannot express how grateful I am for the incredible care my mother is receiving at this home. The staff are not only highly attentive but genuinely loving-the whole place radiates warmth, gentleness, and respect. It's a deeply reassuring feeling to know she's in such good hands, especially as she nears the end of her life. She is more responsive, more buoyant, and clearly well cared for-clean, comfortable, and always presented with dignity. I never imagined we'd find somewhere that could care for her better than we could ourselves, but this home has exceeded every hope. For anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be cherished, not just looked after, I wholeheartedly recommend this extraordinary home. It's a gift.

My Dad has made significant improvement since he moved to Peel House 5 months ago, particularly with his mobility and feeding himself. It makes me happy to see him smile and laugh again. Seeing him talking to staff and other residents, and joining in with activities is wonderful. The general level of care he receives is a huge improvement compared to when he was in hospital, which I appreciate was down to understaffing and underfunding in hospitals. The team are always cheerful, friendly and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble. It is really comforting to know that my Dad is being so well looked after.

My Dad and I are so happy with the standard of care that my Mum has received. The carers and nurses are so patient, kind and engaging and the management team always welcoming and interested in how we are and how they can improve things for Mum. We fully trust the team to look after Mum and care for her in our best interests. This has really restored our faith in residential care homes after a horrendous experience at Mum's last home. Thank you to everyone for their continued support

I found Peel House to be well managed and very welcoming which makes all the difference, I was very impressed from the time I made initial enquiries with the Home Manager on behalf of my relative to discuss their care needs and suitability to stay at Peel House with the Home Manager. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and for going the extra mile.

Staff are not just kind and helpful, they are also fully engaged with the care of the residents. I have been very impressed in the admittedly short time my wife has been there. They can't do enough from my wife.

We cannot thank the staff at Peel House enough for looking after Mum. Everyone was kind and welcoming, treating Mum with care and dignity at all times, as if she was one of their own loved ones. It was a huge comfort to know that Mum was well cared for in her final weeks, where she was safe, secure and beautifully content. Please accept our heartfelt thanks for everything you all did for her.

Peel House provided a lovely BBQ afternoon for the residents and their families. The staff were so caring and ensured that everyone had a lovely time. They were so supportive of those residents who didn't have any visitors that afternoon. Lots of happy faces.

Staff are super caring at Peel House, I would highly recommend anyone to the home, any time I have been in the facility everyone is friendly and attentive to all the residents. When visiting Peel House everywhere is clean and fresh, also at food times the staff are very watchful over the residents to make sure they are eating well and not struggling with mealtime. All in all a great place for my parents to be, I feel very comfortable knowing they are being well cared for.

My sister and brother-in-law are residents at Peel House where they receive exemplary care and affection. Every member of staff is so kind. We recently held a party there to celebrate their 68th Wedding Anniversary and birthday party and everyone put so much in to make sure it was such a special occasion. Relations who travelled praised the staff and home and atmosphere. They both enjoy the activities which are varied and well planned. As none of the immediate family live locally, we appreciate how we are regularly updated on how both of them are and it is so reassuring that they are in a safe and lovely environment. We are always made very welcome when we visit or when we telephone.

Staff always seem happy and engaging. I am so happy with the care given, she always looks clean and tidy. Although a difficult situation, the carers could not be more helpful and patient with her. She also seems to like the food as she eats most of them all up.

My mother has been a resident at Peel House for four months. Right from day one, the staff and management have been very welcoming, friendly and approachable. They work together well, which produces a happy, helpful team, who are both efficient and professional. They give the impression that they have pride in their work and wish to do a good job. This applies to all staff departments, management, carers, chefs, cleaning and laundry. Most importantly for me, whenever, I ask my mother if everyone is being kind to her, the answer is always a very reassuring 'Oh yes.'

Staff always helpful, courteous and available whenever we attend to visit our relative. Our relative loves the food. We often visit in the early evening when dinner is served, good variety and choice. Staff always interact with residents when we are there and lovely to see activities held for residents on your social media page which we joined when our relative moved in with you. Plenty of parking on site. Some areas currently being renovated.

Great care of my father when he was unwell and generally amazing kindness and care of both my parents always. Activities keep them engaged and active mentally and physically. Lovely organisation for my parents' wedding anniversary celebrations.

Our dad has been at Peel House since November. We are so happy that this is his home now. He is so well cared for. He always looks immaculate and the meals are fresh and delicious. All the staff at Peel House, from management, to the cleaning staff are all so friendly and welcoming. The nurses and carers really care and Dad is treated so lovingly. It’s so comforting knowing that we can leave Dad in safe hands whenever we leave.

A genuine warm welcome from all the staff at Peel House, at all visits to see my father. Always informative of any changes in care given. His room is comfortable and clean. He always comments on the nice food that he gets, which is varied and nutritious.

Mum is treated with kindness and dignity. She has been in your care for a year now and in that time her health has deteriorated. You are always gentle with her and always popping in to say hello and offer drinks etc, she always said she never wanted to go into a care home but after her fall it was inevitable and she is now very happy.

My mum was in the home from March 2020 until September 2023. Peel House has a friendly atmosphere and conscientious carers. The team at the home puts the residents & family members at ease along with the reassurance their loved ones are well looked after. I always felt Mum was treated with respect and dignity, which is very reassuring for the family. The manager has continued to make improvements which only makes the home into a lovely & 'homely' environment for the residents. I was so pleased that the home uses a relatives gateway, which was extremely useful, especially during the Covid times. It is the little things that were great, 'resident of the week' and you receive a lovely phone call. They always kept me informed of my mum's care if there were any changes. My family & I always felt supported when we visited the home. Thank you, Peel House and I would recommend the home.

Our dad has been at Peel House since November. We are so happy that this is his home now. He is so well cared for. He always looks immaculate and the meals are fresh and delicious. All the staff at Peel House, from management, to the cleaning staff are all so friendly and welcoming. The nurses and carers really care and Dad is treated so lovingly. It’s so comforting knowing that we can leave Dad in safe hands whenever we leave.
