My mum moved in to Cornwallis in October 2024,nothing is perfect but the care received was so kind. She was not someone who would join in the activities but the activities lady would go spend time with my mum just watch tv and have a cuppa with her.Every member of staff knew my mums name and if they
wondered past mums room they would always say hello to her.As my mums daughter I spent a lot of time visiting mum she seemed happy and content here unfortunately she did have dementia.
My mum recently passed away I spent most of her last week with her and the staff not only looked after mum they looked after me with lots of tea.
The respect that was given to my mum as she left Cornwallis will always stay in my heart forever. The staff that were here for me and my family you know who you are and I can't thank them enough.

I came here 17 months ago to find a place in which to recover from a bad fall and two broken legs. I lived in Nottinghamshire but my daughter and the family live near here. My daughter helped me settle in with the lovely staff. I have been seen by doctors when necessary and the kindly staff have
been wonderful and have helped me settle in and I have made good friendships and everybody is friendly.

My mother has been a resident at Cornwallis Court for the past year. She is so happy there that I have rated excellent for everything. Cornwallis Court is an old building but has wide corridors and high ceilings, making it light and airy. Building has commenced to provide a new home. It is such a
relief to know that mum is safe and happy.

With my wife entering the final stages of her life, we were losing hope of finding her somewhere that could meet her needs. As soon as we visited this excellent nursing home we knew that we had found it. It has a professional feel as well as appears to be a caring environment.
Management, reception
staff through to the carers and nursing staff, everyone was friendly but efficient.
My wife's stay here was unfortunately too short, but we are confident that her final days were as comfortable as they could be. For this, I will be indebted to the incredible staff who cared for her. Thank you so much.

social aspect which I much enjoyed and I made conversation with a number of other residents. My room was comfortable, the dining staff friendly and food good.

My father moved to Cornwallis Court when his previous home was closed by its owners. This was a worrying time for him and our family. The staff at Cornwallis Court were exemplary in their welcome and effort to making my father feel included, safe, and at home. This care is normal practice for the
wonderful staff there and has continued since moving there in November 2023. The relationship my Father and our family have with them is a credit to the R.M.B.I. Thank you.

Delighted with this home. My father became a resident at the end of October 2023. I cannot stress how impressed I am with all the staff.
The care provided is exceptional, the consideration given to the individual needs of the resident is just perfect. I cannot praise all concerned any higher. I
know that my father is so well looked after, his needs are more than met. He is clean, well fed and medicated on time all essential and appreciated. The activities are great. He joins in with most which keeps him active as his dementia progresses. He is meeting new people and really thriving since being there. I know that he will live longer now he is in good care as he needs 24-hour care.
I feel that the staff go the extra to ensure residents are happy and truly care.

My Mum has been at Cornwallis Court for just over two years and not a day goes by where we are not grateful for her being in good care. She is always treated with compassion, respect and dignity and looked after as well as she can be. She is always content, good spirited when we visit, she loves
being among people at the various activities even though she is no longer able to take an active part in them. Your kindness to her is appreciated more than we can say. Thank you all.

Mum has been at Cornwallis Court for nearly a year and we are so grateful, and pleased to be there. Our mum is the most important person in our world and we want the best care for her. The care she has been given has been excellent, they do not forget she is a person and continually try to meet her
needs. The staff are kind and caring and like to laugh which puts a smile on Mum's face. Even in times when they are challenged with staffing they still try to deliver the care Mum needs. All staff work incredibly hard and it doesn't go unnoticed by the family.

My sister receives care from the staff at Cornwallis, and they create a happy atmosphere around her. Their care is special and they care to the extent of respecting her dignity. The nurses always inform us of any health changes she is experiencing, by phone. They encourage as much as they can for my
sister to take part in activities, which could help her with her condition.
Thank you. As we all know there are angels among us.
