The staff are very nice and friendly. They make sure that the residents are comfortable. They have always supported the family with any questions or concerns. Any previous concerns have been related to miscommunication between the day staff and night staff. When things have gone missing or a bump
has happened, sometimes the staff on the next shift weren't aware. However, we are satisfied with the care at New Day and thank the staff for their hard work and dedication.

Staff are very welcoming, caring and put our mothers needs as a priority. Any problems snd requests that are brought to the home are dealt with effectively and promptly. Our mother is content, clean and well cared for she participates in regular activities and conversations with the team throughout
the day. We as a family visit everyday, and are at ease that when we leave our mother is happy and well taken care of.

My father was in New Days care in 2020, they were outstanding, so when I could no longer cover my mother's nursing needs and complex dementia I knew exactly where she would be calling home. I was a bit concerned as the home had a change of ownership since my father was there but there were still
familiar faces. Many employees have worked at New Day for years giving it a "one big family" feel, clearly the staff love working at New Day and looking after the residents there.This shows as all the staff are very caring and compassionate and this has been consistent over the years I have had involvement. I can leave my dear Mum in the comfort of knowing she is in the most capable caring hands of all New Days staff. I hope Bliss Homes appreciate the fact that New Day is so special because of all the amazing employees there, they really do go the extra mile and with some challenging cases to deal with to.If you are looking for a safe and caring environment New Day should be top of your list.

My mother has been in Newday since November 2017. The care that she receives is excellent. The staff are wonderful, to both the residents and relatives.
Activities are provided for the residents. Some events organised are for the relatives to attend, the last one being in August, which was a
barbecue.

The best decision i ever made was to ask NewDay to look after my dear Mom. She is looked after so well & my husband & i can tell all the staff really care about her. The food is lovely. Mom was quite thin when she first went there but she has put on some weight which is great. The main thing for me
is that whenever we visit her we can always see she is happy & contented & that means the world & is all we can ask for. The staff are all so friendly & nothing is too much trouble. The best compliment i can give is that whenever we are away or can't visit her for any reason we miss her but we never worry about her cos we know she is in safe loving hands.

My Dad had a terrible experience in a care home which led to a prolonged stay in hospital where he was assessed as requiring a nursing home to best meet his needs.We were worried about this move given our previous experience and that Dad has dementia.
From the first visit the staff were caring and
committed to providing a quality service.All our questions were answered and communication was clear and consistent and Dads transition went smoothly.Dad has settled and they keep us updated about this progress , any changes in his condition and the activities he has partaken.

My mother was discharged from hospital ack to New Day with a palliative care package. She was given privacy but kept under close monitoring during her decline and staff supported me well. Her medical needs were treated so that she was kept comfortable and calm. New Day was the best place for my
mother to end her long and happy life.

The home cares well for our brother he seems really happy with many staff member's and always laughs and jokes with them. The food always smells delicious when we come to visit.

I am delighted with the care and attention all the staff have shown to my mother. I know that she can be difficult, but only a kind manner and attentive service and help have been given to her. Her room is lovely. We are delighted.

Our dad was taken into Newday for end-of-life care in November last year. Within a couple of days, the fabulous team had Dad up and out of bed and eating and drinking. The staff are 'Angels, each and every one of them. We can't thank them enough for the care and support shown not only to Dad but our
family too. Thanks to them we were given an extra 9 months with our precious Dad. It was so comforting knowing Dad was in safe hands. We would have no reservations about recommending Newday Nursing Home to anyone.

Members of staff are always very helpful and considerate to the needs of the families whose loved ones are residents at New Day, they also appear to treat all residents with diligence and respect, all in all I’m more than happy with the service at New Day.

My wife is a patient at New Day Nursing Home for 3 years. I cannot thank the staff enough for the wonderful care my wife gets. When I get home after visiting my wife, I don’t have to worry because I know that she is in safe hands. Once again thanks to all the wonderful staff at New Day Nursing Home.

When I first came here it was because of a very traumatic experience and I did not want to be in a home of any description. The staff here made me feel very welcome and cared for me in a very dignified manner. They took care of my medical issues accordingly. The food was really good and there was
plenty of choice. Activities are available. I am now really happy here and feel very safe. I would describe it as a "home" within a home. All the staff are respectful to me.

A friendly nursing home which is very dementia aware and skilled. Staff are approachable and supportive of residents and their family visitors. The nursing staff are reliable and professional. The nursing home cater for my vegetarian diet.

New Day Nursing Home has been amazing. They're really helpful and very clean, 'food is great’ and nurses and carers are always there for you. Mom has been really happy since she’s moved into New Day Nursing Home.

Our neighbour has recently had to go into care, suffering with dementia. Like so many people going through this terrible disease, he is being cared for at a local care home, New Day Nursing Home. The staff there are excellent and they held a special event to introduce the new manager. There was a
raffle and I won first prize - a chocolate hamper. I re-raffled the hamper to raise money for the home and they were so grateful. We couldn’t ask for better staff to look after him, from all of his family and friends, we all want to say a massive thank you.

My mother has been at New Day Nursing Home for almost 2 years and during this time the staff have treated her with compassion and kindness. They listen and respond attentively to her and as a family member they have always been very friendly and welcoming. The staff keep you informed and encourage
family in their activity days/celebrations - I couldn't be happier with how mom is treated and would highly recommend this home. Thank you so much to all the staff at New Day - you're fantastic!
