A good team is always better with a good manager, this team, every one I have met, which is quite a few of them are great, friendly, professional, caring, supportive and happy in their work.
The standards are exemplary, food quality excellent, cleanliness excellent, maintenance standards excellent,
obviously nursing excellent.
Nursing staff are really caring, listen and act on issues that will obviously arise when people like my 92 year old mother's health deteriorates.
The medical practice that looks after the residents have so far been perfect, my mother's pain came from nothing two months ago to horrendous in the hospital, now under complete control.
I have no issues whatsoever recommending this nursing home for anyone who has a relative needing it. I really hope that you never need it but if you do it's the best.
Oh, the chefs are great, the food is good and can be adjusted to suit your relatives needs.
They all try really hard to make everyone as happy as possible.

There are not enough words to thank every single member of staff for the care of my grandad.They have become family over the past 6months. Not only to grandad but to us as family, the emotional support, endless coffee and cake and meals. The genuine care when we needed it was shown by every single
person and there is genuine support when you need it. Thank you is simply not enough.

My Father was in Pinetum from December 2025 until April 2026 receiving palliative care. The care received was excellent and the staff are all really caring, friendly and very professional and are a real asset to the Care Home. I can highly recommend Pinetum.

The care provided for my mother has been sincere, positive and gracious. The humour and spirit of the staff have lifted my mother out of the gloom of dementia and into a life where she feels loved and valued again.
The difference this has made to our family has been profound. Obviously we are all
sad that my mother is gradually dying, but we are continually impressed by the gentle kindness and fun the staff can bring to the rhythm of daily life. Thank you guys I have so much respect for you. Often after my visit I cry quiet tears of gratitude for the help you are giving my mum.
You are all lovely people and me and my family are so fortunate to have you to take care of our Mum at a very challenging stage of her life. You have proven that even in the darkest times there can still be sunshine and hope. We will never forget the love you give her x

Mum (Mal)was sent from the hospital to Pinetum for respite in December after having a fractured back. While in Pinetum mum was diagnosed with vascular dementia. The care that was taken in looking after her was amazing, everyone from all levels where great they all showed compassion and empathy for
what they did, we saw mum flourish. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. End of February we had to move mum to a residential care home as she's not able to go home alone. It was so hard to find somewhere for her after her being in Pinetum with such high standards and great care for residents and for us a family.
I would like to say a big big thank you to all the exceptional caring staff at all levels for taking great care of our mum, we are so grateful for everything you did for her and also for us.

My Wife was admitted to Pinetum Care Home from the hospital for rehabilitation and then sadly for Palliative Care for the last 3months of her life .
The Quality of care she received from all the staff was excellent she was treated with great care dignity and respect the nurses and carers were
checking on her regularly .
This same friendly care and respect was extended to all family visitors throughout her stay .
When my Wife sadly passed away we were informed immediately and invited to go and see her, the nurse who greeted us treated us with compassion and respect and told us she had been present when she passed away so she hadn't been alone which was a great comfort to me .
We were given refreshments while we sat in her room my wife could not have had a better standard of care anywhere else and i am very grateful for that

I have no words but great words. The staff and facilities are amazing. I could not wish for a better place or better more caring people than Pinetum. The staff have so much love, care, compassions and humour.

Mum was admitted to Pinetum Chester for rehab after breaking her hip and spent over 3 months there.
The quality of the professional & friendly staff at all levels ensure residents are extremely well looked after. From the beginning Mum was treated with great care, respect and dignity helping her
settle in so much she was reluctant to leave! This friendliness is also extended to the regular family visitors which was so nice.
Mum also enjoyed the light and airy lounge areas where we were able to relax with her when visiting.
From a family point of view we were delighted that Mum was well looked after. She felt safe, happy, well fed and content and that was so reassuring to us .
A small negative is the lack of en-suite facilities though this wasn't an issue for my Mum.
Thankyou to the whole Pinetum team - you have been excellent. Highly recommend.

My late mother in law was admitted for end of life care from the Countess of Chester hospital. During her very short stay there she received very loving and respectful care despite being unconcious most of the short time she was there. The staff were very loving, they held her hand and stroked her
hair and spoke gently to her, ensuring her comfort at all times. I'm sure she was aware of their kindness. The staff were very compassionate to the family demonstating high levels of empathy at all times. On her final night we stayed through the night and the staff kindly provided with hot drinks and sandwiches. All things considered my late mother in law had excellent, loving and compassionate end of life care.

The staff are really great, friendly, well trained and caring. Although facilities are limited (shared bathrooms, small rooms) the place is clean and welcoming at all times. Our friend is very well cared for, but it would be good if we were able to phone her for a chat, as she feels a bit cut off.
All in all, a nice place to convalesce.

Pinetum is just amazing. The staff care so much about their people and are so genuinely caring and patient.
The food always seems brilliant, and there are always activities on for the residents; music, zoo trips etc.
It is such a happy environment, and you can tell the staff work incredibly
hard to make it a positive experience for residents.

I can not praise this care home enough my dad is in the nursing part all the staff including manager and cleaners have gone out of their way to make him as comfortable as ever my dad has settled in so quick he has been there 3 weeks and already been on a trip which he really enjoyed unfortunately
on Sunday the 18th may he ended up in hospital but even tho he's not been in pinetum they have made him sandwiches so he would eat something as he doesn't like hospital food (who does) and asking when he is back as they have missed him I no it is a care and nursing home but each and everyone of them do care about the residents best decision ever for him to go there a big 10/10 from my dad me and rest of the family thank you so so much pinetum

Pinetum Care home is the best place for residents. My mum has been cared for by the staff and nurses for several months. The staff are very professional, very attentive, caring and loving to not just my mum, but I have observed to every resident within the home, this home from management down to
staff on the floor are wonderful and very welcoming towards residents and their families. The home provides a hair salon room and a daily menu showing food choices from breakfast, lunch and tea. The home also provides many different activities on a daily basis by an amazing carer. There are so many wonderful staff that work here, each and everyone of the staff go above and beyond for both the residents and family members. The quality of the staff is immense with the likes of four members of staff in particular this is a few names to list but everyone of you staff who know me , I have total respect for you all, you are an amazing team, including the cleaning staff, kitchen staff .

My Mum is currently in the home having come out of hospital.The friendliness of the staff and the general feel of the home compared to other homes I have seen is on another level.Every member of staff seems to love working there and I can only imagine that this atmosphere is created from the top
down. I cannot thank them enough for their genuine kindness.

My father is staying here for end of life care. He has received a lot of encouragement from the staff to be involved in activities and went from being bed ridden to walking about and chatting with the lovely staff members. He is happy here and is safe to wonder about with no risk of getting
outside. It is very clean and tidy, staff work hard and are friendly. They have a resident bunny too.

My friend is currently at Pinetum and we couldn't ask for more everyone is friendly and helpful , she is treated with kindness and dignity, the staff have a gentle approach at all times.. her medical needs are met swiftly and we have nothing but gratitude to those who are caring for her when we
are not able to be there . She has been lucky with her room and it overlooks the garden everywhere is cleaned continuously to a very high standard, and dietry needs are met again to a very high standard . It's a 10 out of 10 for me Keep up the good work Pinetum.

Whilst my husband has only been a resident at Pinetum for a short time, we have been very warmly welcomed and made to feel part of the home community by both management and staff, the level of care in all departments has been very good.

All the staff are very friendly, helpful and treat the residents with dignity and respect. The building and facilities are well maintained and a good standard of cleanliness is maintained. A good number of activities are offered and overall I was very happy with the care Mum received.
