View Full Details of Springfield HouseA wonderful caring facility where the staff are a credit to the profession. Our family member was treated with absolute dignity up to the very end and we couldn't have asked for any more.
My mum spent the last six months of her life at Springfield House, I cannot speak highly enough of the care she received from the first day the staff showed exceptional professionalism, compassion and respect. Both to mum and my family, the dignity and kindness was overwhelming and so gratefully appreciated. My mum genuinely enjoyed her time there. I am sincerely grateful to everyone at Springfield House.
I have been well looked after with staff ensuring that I am clean and tidy. Staff will always check and support my comfort when required.
Mum was treated with dignity and respect. All staff were professional and courteous. Thank you for looking after her.
My aunty had been at the home for about 6 years and all the time she was treated with respect and dignity. We were kept informed of any issues and always felt welcomed when we visited. Her needs were all taken care of and I was more than happy with the care and nursing she received during her time there.
My expeince with my mother is very good and the home is very good with my mum. Food is good and her room is very good and tidy.
My uncle came to Springfield House for end of life care on Christmas Eve from hospital. The care given to him and support to not only him but me as next of kin has been incredible. Every step of dignity was given during his stay here was done with care and compassion right up to the end. From management, nurses, care team and excellent communication, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend Springfield House.
Highly recommended. Professional, caring, lovely, respectful, helpful, lovely people who cared for my mum during the final few months of her life. Also exceptionally caring to me and my wife during this psychically and emotionally challenging time. We will be forever grateful.
My husband was taken to Springfield House directly from the hospital for palliative care. It has been amazing. He had not been out of bed for 14 weeks, but he had only been there two days and they managed to hoist him into a wheelchair. We all sat outside with him and had a cup of coffee. It was such a lift for his spirits. Can't praise Springfield enough - his final days are going to be peaceful and cared for.
My last review was seven months after Mum became a resident at Springfields. Mum has now been there nearly two years and my opinion has not changed. They are all wonderful! Mum is doing so well there, she is encouraged to keep her mobility and join in with the activities that are provided regularly. She is still eating well too. I am so relieved and grateful to all of the fabulous staff. Thank goodness we still have staff that do the job because they genuinely care and not just for the money! I have only marked facilities down one point as it's an old building that does need some more attention ie. Better accessible toilets downstairs and a separate one for visitors perhaps? Otherwise all fine.
The guitarist playing for residents today was brilliant, not only was his playing very good but he interacted with residents who were clapping and tapping to the music. Everyone had a lovely time.
I am very happy my mom is in this care home. She is receiving the best possible care I could hope for. My mom is very poorly, and is being cared for by the most kind, helpful staff. Every consideration is given to ensuring she is comfortable. I appreciate so much what they are doing for my mom and all the love and support they are offering me. Thank you.
My father has been a resident at Springfield House since April 2021. Since day one the team have been quite amazing. I am not going to say that everything is 100% perfect - I don't believe any place can be - it is true that in places the building needs investment but the ladies and gentlemen who make up the core care team are so kind, so caring, so patient, the standards set by the residential manager are exceptional and her team follow her lead. I would recommend Springfield wholeheartedly.
I can't praise the staff in the residential part of the care home enough! They have provided my aunt with a new lease of life and cared for her like a family member. The manager leads by example, a truly remarkable person!
My Mom is treated with care and dignity. She is very happy at Springfield House. Her care is first class, the staff are always happy to help in any way. They are all wonderful. The carers, nurses, kitchen staff, housekeepers and office staff - I cannot speak highly enough about them all.
The staff are very helpful. On my visit on 6/6/23, one lady was exceptionally helpful. A new pair of pyjamas had gone missing, and she tracked them down. It was a hot day, and it was lovely to see ice cream cones being handed out to residents. My friend has only been in this home for around ten days, and already, he looks s much better since being discharged from the hospital, and he is eating better.
My mother has been very happy in the Springfield home. The care was very good. Treated very well with people treated well. Clean facilities and nice activities. Staff ensure that all staff maintain high levels across Springfield House. The House is a safe place to live in. Thanks, staff, for all your hard work! Thanks!
Lovely place and extremely patient and caring staff.
I have visited my friend's husband over the past 15 months, approximately once a month. Excellent care, friendly staff, very good cleanliness and food. I could not wish for him to be cared for anywhere else.
Mum has been in Springfield House for six months. A period of settling and staff assessment was put in place, resulting in Mum adapting to her new home. All the staff work together to give the best for their residents in a holistic nature. Not only caring for physical needs but also emotional needs. It is lovely to see staff often giving Mum a hug and spending time with her, which she loves. We leave Mum after visiting in the knowledge she is "cared" for, which makes us feel better.
