I visited ersham house for my dear friend trev I found the staff really nice and the home it's self was just what he needed for his end of life...when he was admitted he was greated by anma and made very welcome..(he sadly passed away on 23/05/26 )the staff were amazing all through his care i could
not of wished for a better place for him..anma and her team were absolutely wonderful..and I know he was happy their..he was very well loved by all the team...myself and his visitors were greated by a warm and friendly

Our Mother was at Ersham House for some considerable time.
The team was always professional in terms of medical care, hygiene and nutrition. In addition, they were very attentive about our Mother's needs and were warm and caring. This was extremely reassuring for us and made us feel that she was
in good hands and truly being looked after.

My sister Linda was a resident of Ersham House for 3 weeks where she received end of life care. The Manager and staff here are wonderful, Linda was treated with kindness, compassion and patience every day of her stay. The nurses, healthcare assistants, chef and cleaning staff all made such a
difference, aswell as the activities organisers and Anma is a great Manager, professional and friendly always. Linda's last few hours were calm, comfortable and pain-free free. Myself and Linda's partner were made welcome always and nothing was too much trouble. We were able to say goodbye and the care Linda received after she passed was dignified and compassionate. Too many staff to name but particularly Dhanya, thank you so much for your kindness at the end. You are all angels. Jan xx

My brother stayed for over two months at Ersham House. He arrived in a confused state having been removed from his place of residence where he had previously lived for over 50 years. He presented with challenging behaviour, which included mood swings. The staff at the home could not have been more
helpful in supporting his adjustment into life in care. They attended to his medical and dietary needs and he responded well to social interaction and activities. My brother had been isolated for a long time, and the staff helped him improve his social skills and build relationships with other residents. When my wife and I visited my brother, the management and staff were very friendly and welcoming and we felt part of the family. They said my brother talked a lot and was a popular resident. We saw him happily engaging in activities and doing things that he had not done before. My brother needed building up and when he left the home he was physically better and mentally calmer.

My father moved to Ersham House for end of life care.
He was looked after in a very caring and professional manner. All the staff were very friendly and happy to help with any request.
Dad was always happy which made the family happy.

My sister is very well cared for in all areas. The staff look after her every need and always talk to her and give her many cuddles, and are always caring towards her, they all feed her with great care and consideration. She doesn't interact with activities, but they are very good for all who can.
She likes to sit in the office and is always accommodated. They are always welcoming and caring towards me when I phone or visit.

My aunt was sent to Ersham House as part of a palliative care package by the NHS
Throughout her short stay she was treated with the utmost respect and care
The Manager Anma was extremely respectful and clearly cares deeply about her patients, she spent a lot of time with us explaining what care
would be provided and how this provision would happen.
Watching Anma and her staff interact with both my aunt and other patients/relatives has restored my faith in the care system in the UK.

My 97 year old mother has been exceptionally cared for by the whole team. In fact her last words to me was that she felt like she was on holiday in Australia and the carers and food superb. Mum was taken in on end of life care 29th Sept and passed away 24th Dec 2025. Ersham House have been very
helpful to me in dealing with the passing of my mother. Thank you.

So far, my husband says all nurses are great and do what he asks for. I cannot visit all that often as I am 92 this year, and I do not drive, so I have to get a taxi or a lift. Thank you for all that you do.

Very professional management and support staff. Very friendly and patient service staff. Respectful and sensitive staff. Caring and cheerful staff.
This care home was selected after a very personable and assuring meeting with the manager and tour. Our first impressions were very good and these have
been maintained throughout our seven months of association thus far. We continue to be most satisfied and pleased with the care provided.

Very friendly staff who keep relatives very well informed. The staff is very good with residents. The home is well-kept. The food is good and varied. More activities could be arranged for residents, but the quality of given activities is good.

I think Ersham House is an excellent nursing home, the best I have seen. Looked after my girlfriend very well. All the staff are very kind and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.

My brother was well taken care of. The carers are very caring of residents. My brother was washed and kept clean as frequently as needed during the day.

My mother was in the care of Ersham House for almost five years until her recent death. In that time I was always aware of and grateful for the great patience and compassion the staff had for their charges. They kept my mother safe during the pandemic and she came to regard Ersham House as her home.
These are good people.

My dad has been at Ersham House Nursing Home since September and we cannot recommend this home enough. All the staff are kind and friendly and have gone above to meet Dad's needs. Dad has settled very well with the changes and I put this down to the kindness he has received here. Dad feels at home
here which has given us so much comfort. So thank you to all of you.

My mum came to Ersham House 6 months ago, having been moved twice this year in a short space of time. I have to say I have been really impressed by everything I've seen here. The staff are all very approachable and always happy to explain everything that is happening with Mum. They are all so caring
and friendly towards me and towards Mum as well as being professional in their duties. I am so pleased that Mum is here, there is a warm and friendly atmosphere about the place every time I'm there. Mum is in end-of-life care and the team shows so much dignity when dealing with her, I wouldn't want her to be anywhere else. The manager is always willing to talk through things and make sure I am kept informed of how Mum is. I really haven't got a bad word to say about the place. Thank you to all of the team for putting my mind at rest to know that Mum is safe and being cared for so well.

Outstanding care, kindness and compassion and respect. Everyone is passionate about their role and the residents and their families are wonderfully supported by everyone, nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended.

I am currently here for respite care and enjoying spending time relaxing in the large garden. The manageress has been extremely helpful and nothing is too much for her. The nurses and care staff go above and beyond in making sure you are comfortable and have everything you require, whilst always
smiling and professional. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank them all for decorating my room and helping me celebrate my birthday whilst in their care. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending this nursing home. Thank you.

Mum has always been made comfortable and treated with dignity and great kindness. The care has been second to none and I have always been kept informed of Mum's condition. The rooms are clean, tidy and welcoming. I could not fault any of the staff, who all deserve a medal!
