Staff at home very pleasant and try to help to make mum's stay as comfortable as possible. Mum is very unwell and can be challenging but the staff are always warm and supportive with her.

I visit Heather on a weekly basis. She is mainly in her room by herself. She seldomly sits in the lounge with fellow residents. More interaction would be beneficial for Heather with staff, fellow residents. I visited Heather on one occasion - it was around tea time - Tea!! A hot dog in a finger
bread roll with some onions on top! Absolutely shocking!! It is not good enough. I told her sister about this tea etc she is aware of situation.

My mum has been in Craigielea for almost 6mth. I cannot fault the care she has received. Every single member of staff are aware of who she is and what her needs are. My mum has been unwell during her stay and has had the best care and onging care to her changing needs. The communication I receive
from her senior carer is fantastic. I can honestly say my mum is treated like a member of their family and brings me such relief knowing she is in a safe, caring and loving home.

I absolutely cannot fault the care this establishment provides to my uncle. He is very well cared for, even though he is hostile to the thought of being in care and unable to gain his mobility back, he knows the staff are trying their very best and he is thankful, as are his family. God bless you

The current senior is amazing who always has my mam's best interests at the forefront of everything she does. She keeps me informed of all my Mam's care issues, activities etc. I am extremely confident & happy with the care my Mam receives from the current senior carer & her lovely & professional
team.

The staff here truly are an amazing workforce, ensuring relative is looked after to an amazing standard. We would be in a very difficult situation without any of you and your efforts. Please keep up the outstanding work. You are all a valued part of his day.

Very encouraging to experience a warm welcome from every staff member upon visits. My husband is being given first class care and attention. He enjoys the food and takes part in activities which he is encouraged to participate in e.g. visit to the bowling club. Each day is structured to meet the
needs of each individual. We are able to spend time in the garden alongside others which is very enjoyable. Upon each visit I am able to ask for feedback which is always structured professionally.

On the whole, very good. I feel there isn't enough interaction between staff and residents. My husband is quite talkative and would benefit from a conversation now and again. I don't think that watching television all day is good for anyone. Most residents don't understand what they are watching.

The staff on duty work really hard, but very often there are not enough present in the lounge to take my mother to the bathroom. This can make things difficult for her as she then needs to use her pad, which she is reluctant to do. There has been a missing ceiling tile and a stained ceiling tile in
Mum's room for a number of weeks now. These are my main 'niggles'. Otherwise, it all runs very smoothly for Mum.

My father has been in Craiglea for over 3 months now and we as a family could not be more happy with his care. All the staff have been fantastic with my father and all of the family when we visit. The genuine sincerity of care for my father has not gone unnoticed, as well as the professionalism of
the staff. We, as a family, would like to thank Craigielea for everything you are doing for my father.

Enjoyed the review very helpful, as it is my first meeting with Craigielea, as my sister has only been there for a short time. She has settled very well,she told me she loves it there. The staff are excellent with her, she has dystonia and needs help with everything also feeding etc also affects her
speech. I am very happy with Craigielea.

The staff from the start have been absolutely fantastic. They are so professional and efficient its unbelievable. My dad was as thought close to death. But with their help and professionalism he is now like a new person only two weeks later. We could not be happier and are very grateful. He is
eating and drinking the food is also fantastic. The whole family are very happy and grateful.

Staff very hardworking and treat my husband with care and dignity.
Happy that new alarm has been installed in my husband's room.
His shower facilities need updating, although my request for hand rail and a high additional toilet seat has been installed.
I find the management is very easy to
approach, which makes me confident that my husband is being given good care at Craigielea.

All the staff go above and beyond at all times and there are no complaints about any aspects of my mum's stay and don't even mention the meals as she gets better fed than me. Overall, I rate Craigielea as excellent because it's deserved, and I'm so pleased my mum is staying in such a nice place with
absolutely fantastic staff. It makes a big difference when you know she's being well looked after when you can't be there.

Recently lost my dad in Craigielea and I could not ask for more, the care and love my dad received from every single member of staff could not have been better over the 2 years my dad was there. A special type of person becomes a carer Craigielea has this in abundance. I thank you from the bottom of
my heart for everything you did for my dad right up to the end. Love to you all have a great Christmas and New Year and love to all the residents.

Resident has only been in for two weeks. All options up to now have been good. Too soon, or unable to comment on certain items, but impressions are good.

Craigielea is an excellent care home. The staff are friendly and I am always impressed by how well they know my parents. The care provided is very good indeed. I genuinely feel that my parents are receiving excellent care. I am always welcomed warmly, no matter what time I arrive.

It is a very caring and supportive service and I believe that the staff are all very well-trained. I know that the activities play an important part in my mother-in-law's quality of life and she enjoys it there immensely. The management are particularly excellent at their jobs and I think the
service they head is good value for money.

I would recommend Craigelea as the staff are professional and the care provided replicates the 'Good' CQC rating. All staff from management to floor staff are supportive. Good food, clean, supportive and welcoming.
