My mum has been in Craigielea for almost 6mth. I cannot fault the care she has received. Every single member of staff are aware of who she is and what her needs are. My mum has been unwell during her stay and has had the best care and onging care to her changing needs. The communication I receive from
her senior carer is fantastic. I can honestly say my mum is treated like a member of their family and brings me such relief knowing she is in a safe, caring and loving home.

I absolutely cannot fault the care this establishment provides to my uncle. He is very well cared for, even though he is hostile to the thought of being in care and unable to gain his mobility back, he knows the staff are trying their very best and he is thankful, as are his family. The current senior is amazing who always has my mam's best interests at the forefront of everything she does. She keeps me informed of all my Mam's care issues, activities etc. I am extremely confident & happy with the care my Mam receives from the current senior carer & her lovely & professional team.

Very encouraging to experience a warm welcome from every staff member upon visits. My husband is being given first class care and attention. He enjoys the food and takes part in activities which he is encouraged to participate in e.g. visit to the bowling club. Each day is structured to meet the needs
of each individual. We are able to spend time in the garden alongside others which is very enjoyable. Upon each visit I am able to ask for feedback which is always structured professionally.

On the whole, very good. I feel there isn't enough interaction between staff and residents. My husband is quite talkative and would benefit from a conversation now and again. I don't think that watching television all day is good for anyone. Most residents don't understand what they are watching.

The staff on duty work really hard, but very often there are not enough present in the lounge to take my mother to the bathroom. This can make things difficult for her as she then needs to use her pad, which she is reluctant to do. There has been a missing ceiling tile and a stained ceiling tile in
Mum's room for a number of weeks now. These are my main 'niggles'. Otherwise, it all runs very smoothly for Mum.

My father has been in Craiglea for over 3 months now and we as a family could not be more happy with his care. All the staff have been fantastic with my father and all of the family when we visit. Visit my friend on a regular basis.
Home clean & well decorated, maintained, etc.
I feel my friend needs to be outside in the garden each day, beneficial both for her physical & mental health.
She needs to be amongst fellow residents in the lounge, having her meals in the dining area, etc.

Enjoyed the review very helpful, as it is my first meeting with Craigielea, as my sister has only been there for a short time. She has settled very well,she told me she loves it there. The staff are excellent with her, she has dystonia and needs help with everything also feeding etc also affects her

The staff from the start have been absolutely fantastic. They are so professional and efficient its unbelievable. My dad was as thought close to death. But with their help and professionalism he is now like a new person only two weeks later. We could not be happier and are very grateful. He is eating
and drinking the food is also fantastic. The whole family are very happy and grateful.

Staff very hardworking and treat my husband with care and dignity.
Happy that new alarm has been installed in my husband's room.
His shower facilities need updating, although my request for hand rail and a high additional toilet seat has been installed.
I find the management is very easy to approach,
which makes me confident that my husband is being given good care at Craigielea.

All the staff go above and beyond at all times and there are no complaints about any aspects of my mum's stay and don't even mention the meals as she gets better fed than me. Overall, I rate Craigielea as excellent because it's deserved, and I'm so pleased my mum is staying in such a nice place with
absolutely fantastic staff. It makes a big difference when you know she's being well looked after when you can't be there.

Recently lost my dad in Craigielea and I could not ask for more, the care and love my dad received from every single member of staff could not have been better over the 2 years my dad was there. A special type of person becomes a carer Craigielea has this in abundance. I thank you from the bottom of

I find the home always nice and clean, the staff and food are good and they are always willing to help if you need it. I have had a lot to do with homes over the years. I think this is a lovely place for my husband to live at this point in his life.
