Outstanding care, friendly, like a family, cheerful, helpful staff in all areas making sure all needs are catered for. Nothing too much trouble. Reassuring, wonderful food, catering, for even the most difficult diets individually. Felt like a 1st class hotel. Very professional. A home to be

I cannot thank ALL the staff enough for the care and love they have given my father at a difficult time for us all. They have also been so supportive of us as a family.
There has not been anything that has been too much trouble.
Every care we have asked for has been given with such kindness and
dignity.
It really is like one big happy family.

Where to start..
My Dad is extremely well cared for at the home and enjoys his many humorous interactions with the team there. It is so important to me to see that he is happy and that his sense of humour is still shining through.
I feel part of the family as I am always made to feel so welcome
and, as with the other visitors, I am encouraged to join in the activities which are great fun!
The door is always open for me to chat with anyone involved in Dads care and if I need any guidance the patience and expertise is second to none.
All of the staff are brilliant, kind and willing to help. Dad couldn't have better people around him.

It is a pleasure for my mum to live at Springbank , staff in all areas go above and beyond and truly show love , kindness and excellent care to all residents everyday .
Nothing is too much and communication is excellent always .
Activities are stimulating and well run by the fabulous Lorraine .
The different mix of crafts are great even for my novice mum .
Leadership is also fabulous with approachable staff who listen , talk issues through and sort them asap .
This is an excellent care home and others could learn so much from them

My mum stayed at Springbank for nine months after care at home was no longer enough. She received excellent care from day one. However, it was during mum's final few days that we were blown away by the level of compassion from all the staff. Not just the care they took of mum, making her as
comfortable as they could, but also the way they took care of us as we sat by her bedside.
I am so grateful to the staff for the way they took care of mum, along with the peace of mind which that brought me. On my visits from Scotland every few weeks, it meant I could just spend quality time with mum in comfortable and relaxed surroundings. It was nice getting to know the staff, too, and receiving a friendly welcome after a long drive down. Springbank came to feel like a home-from-home for me, and I shall always look back on mum's time there with fondness.

Mum has been a resident at Springbank for just over four years now. The care she has received throughout all her time at Springbank has never been anything less than outstanding. Her physical needs are well met- if she has a medical issue it is addressed immediately . Great thought and care has
also been put into respecting her dignity.
The staff are very accessible. If I have a query or concern about mum communications are responded to in a timely manner .
The home is spotlessly clean and has the air of an upmarket hotel.The furnishings are smart and comfortable. The gardens are well tended and provide a most beautiful outdoor space for the residents to relax in the summer months. At Christmas the seasonal decorations are stunning.
Residents' birthdays are observed by the baking of their own special birthday cake, and landmark birthdays can be shared with family and friends.
I am convinced that mum is receiving the best possible attention in a comfortable and caring setting.

We are so happy with all of mum's care, we are always kept up to date with any changes. We feel mum is in the best and trusted hands. The care home staff are always warm & welcoming and there if needed to ask about anything.
The care home is spotless as is mum's room. There's a lovely warm
home-like feel as soon as you walk in, with music playing softly, so welcoming.
Even though mum has lost interest in all of the wonderful activities & day trips and people who come in with animals etc it's wonderful for those residents able to enjoy this.
We always say mum would have chosen here, if she could have done. The perfect place for our wonderful mum to be - thank you to all at springbank x

In the short time my dad has been a resident at Springbank Care Home he has settled well into his new surroundings. He's been made to feel so welcome and comfortable into the well run Springbank Care Home family from day one. He's very happy and content, well looked after and loves to get involved
with the daily activities arranged and the regular trips out.
I've found all staff to be welcoming, very helpful, compassionate, understanding, considerate, supportive, talkative, well presented, happy in what they do, attentive and above all provides exceptional care for my dad with his dementia needs.

We have been very happy with all the care that the team at Springbank provided. Mum could not have been anywhere better albeit for only a short time. The friendliness and professionalism have been outstanding.

Our mother with dementia was at the home for 8 weeks until she passed away. We had looked round other homes but as soon as I walked in here and was welcomed so warmly I knew this was the place. It felt like a luxurious hotel and smelt lovely. The care that our mother received was the absolute best.
The home has a friendly, nurturing atmosphere, it was immaculately clean, the activities are fun and plentiful, and the residents seem really happy and well looked after. The food always looked amazing, she had brilliant empathetic and and kind carers and support staff, and the management were so welcoming and you could see that they had a great relationship with the staff. You could tell it was a nice place to work. Our mum was relaxed and happy there which was so comforting to us. End of life care in the home was so respectful, caring and dignified. Her time in the home was something we will always cherish.

Our mum has been resident in Bluebell wing at Springbank Care Home for over four years and we have been delighted with the care she has received . A special mention is deserved following mum's fall and broken hip. The progress that she has made is is in no small part as a result of the simply
brilliant staff at Springbank who look after her day to day. All the carers clearly want the best for their elderly residents and go the extra mile (or even two!) to encourage and support them. Thanks to all of you - so grateful!

Springbank Care Home creates a homely atmosphere for residents and family members. It has excellent care staff and are always greeted with a smile and excellent service. The manager and deputy manager are always on hand to help and support. It provides a safe and comfortable residence for the
residents.

This review relates to the past year my husband has been cared for at Springbank Care Home during which he was extremely ill and admitted to hospital. Following his return his care has been excellent and he has improved immensely. Everyone who has been involved with his care has shown patience and
compassion which has been much appreciated by me. He thoroughly enjoys the healthy nourishing food provided.

My mum has been a resident for 18 months. The management and all the staff are really professional, caring, competent and run a happy home. Mum had a few health challenges recently and these were addressed well. The residents are treated as individuals eg. they all received a Christmas stocking with
4 gifts which were personally chosen and suited to them as well as a personal Christmas card. On Valentine's day they will again 'feel loved' as they receive heart biscuits and are taken out on the minibus to a garden centre. Later on in the week is an external singer. The residents selected their individual pizza toppings last week and these were then cooked for them for their tea. Everybody works hard to run a well managed home with a variety of entertainment. A resident has her own choir which they join in with and Race Equality Week was celebrated with flags, pins, sharing customs and food from the countries the staff come from. I volunteer at the home and sometimes escort residents to appointments.

Having cared at home for my mother along with other family members, it was a real upset when Mum broke her leg and required an operation. Post-operation, it was obvious that the care plan had to change. Springbank Care Home has made this transition so much easier than expected. Mum is happy and we
are happy thanks to all the staff at the home.

My mum was in Springbank for just under a year and passed away in June this year. I cannot praise too highly every single person in this wonderful home. It is in every sense a home, not an institution, and all residents (and their relatives) are treated like family. Every member of staff treated my
mum as if she was a loved friend or relative. With respect, kindness and gentleness, with her well-being, comfort and happiness at the heart of it all.
They have so many activities for those residents who want to take part, with two dedicated entertainment coordinators. The manager and assistant manager are warm and caring and just can’t do enough for everyone. You can’t go wrong if you entrust your loved one to these lovely people.

The following comments are about the last two years at Springbank.
My other half is so settled - my daughter says - “we cannot believe how well it has all turned out”. This is after all the trauma of the previous years.
All staff are very caring without exception.
The food is exceptional.
Senior and office staff are very approachable.
Activities are carried out with great thought about the interest and enjoyment of all involved.

Springbank in Silsden is flawless. Can’t praise everyone enough who works there - a true team with a fantastic leader at the front. So welcoming, helpful, and inspiring to be shown what a good care home looks like. We would not hesitate to recommend Springbank. The care, love and hard work are very

The staff at the care home have been amazing - caring, compassionate, patient and hardworking. They have spent time with Dad to help him through and always take time to make the family feel welcome and informed - communication is very good.

My 94-year-old mum came to Springbank Care Home from the hospital after a fracture initially for respite. The home has a lovely atmosphere, the staff are welcoming and cheerful (we are always greeted with a smile) and have helped her to become mobile again. With their encouragement, she goes to the
dining room for meals and joins in the many activities on offer in the home and even down to the local chapel hall for bingo! All the staff from carers, kitchen, laundry and management are very approachable and any queries are quickly dealt with and we are kept informed. Mum's room is always clean and warm.
