My wife could not have received better care, kindness and attention than that given at the Frithwood Nursing Care Home. Her wellbeing was transformed for the better within hours of her admission to Frithwood.

I can't praise this nursing home enough. The staff are amazing, and my uncle is so happy and settled here you can truly see it in his face and overall wellbeing. There is always something happening, and my family and I genuinely look forward to visiting. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with
music always playing and residents and staff dancing and singing together in many languages. It's a very diverse and friendly home. The Christmas party was out of this world, with stunning decorations, and every celebration or event is always so well prepared. The home is also spotlessly clean. A special thumbs up to the young activity coordinator, who always goes above and beyond with her energy, creativity, and kindness. Well done to the entire team you are all doing an incredible job.

The best ever care I could have hoped for!
Mum has thrived in Frithwood Care and we could not have ever imagined how happy and stable she is today

The staff is friendly and caring. The location is very good. Air quality is good, Heating is good. Management is very friendly. The Chef tries his best to meet the demands of residents. Residents are allowed to bring their own food and celebrate their own festivals.

Dad lived at Frithwood for about 5 months until he died. He settled very quickly and seemed to really appreciate the care individual staff members gave him. We were very moved by the amount of time that staff took to get to know him. One staff member even saluted him at night as Dad had been in the
Air Force! Dad loved that! He was well cared for and listened to. We were always able to chat with staff and ask any questions. We are very thankful to Frithwood and each member of staff who made Dad's last few months as comfortable as they could be and helped make him feel safe and looked after. Based on our family's experience we would absolutely recommend Frithwood to other families.

My experience was good. I am happy with the care that was provided to my mother. The staff was friendly and reassuring that she was in good hands. They were througher with the check in and out to ensure she had all belongings documented. There was a range of food and activities differing depending
on the day. I will defo be using the services again.

There is always a very warm welcome on entering Frithwood because it was the festival of Diwali the hall and common rooms were nicely decorated. My aunt was well pressed and groomed and smelt 'fresh as a daisy' her room was pristine, crisp bed linen and her belongings beautifully and thoughtfully
arranged. I felt very happy on leaving the home knowing she was in a lovely caring environment. I highly commend the wonderful staff.

The home has always provided very good care. My relative's room and most of the rest of the home has recently been re-decorated and has been significantly improved to make a warm and very welcoming environment. It is very reassuring to visit such a nice nursing home and to interact with the friendly
and caring team who work there.

Frithwood cared for my mum in her final days, and I'll always be grateful. From the moment I visited, I felt reassured. The home is peaceful and beautifully kept, and the Manager, was kind and informative. Residents were singing ABBA songs-it felt joyful.
Mum was settled in quickly. Her room was
bright and comfortable, and staff made a real effort to get to know her. They even sent me photos of her joining in activities, which meant so much.
I visited daily and saw the gentle, respectful care she received. One moment I'll never forget was watching a young staff member feed her with such tenderness it brought me to tears.
When Mum passed away, the staff were incredibly kind and helped me say goodbye with peace and love.
Frithwood gave my mum dignity and comfort, and gave me the reassurance I needed.
Thank you, Frithwood, for helping me give Mum the goodbye she deserved.

Wonderful experience in hard circumstances. My aunt was handled with utmost care, compassion + respect. Wouldn't ask for more. Highly recommend this nursing home - fabulous staff and so many warm homely, safe place.

Overall positive regarding home cleanliness and staff very friendly and responsive have asked they are proactive with father as he is generally very passive
Environment overall very friendly and bright and airy which is nice as more of a home than a nursing centre
Food and drinks supplied
very good adapted to my fathers eating challenges and of sufficient variety so keeps varied diet
Weekend staff ratio and especially nurse turnover can be a concern to ensure continuity of care and we did have a communication issue when father was admitted to hospital and we only made aware when ambulance arrived
Physio is also a need and despite referrals hospital physio team haven't come to help team to support my fathers mobility which is a concern and needs to be followed up

exceptional. They go above and beyond for the residents every single day, showing genuine compassion, patience, and respect. They are always smiling and friendly, creating such a positive and uplifting feeling throughout the home. It is clear that they really care about the people they look after. The manager deserves praise as well. He leads with professionalism and dedication, making sure that high standards of care are maintained and that residents' needs are truly put first. You can see that he values his staff and fosters a strong team spirit. The summer party at Frithwood was a perfect example of how much they do to build a sense of community. The event was beautifully organised.

My mum has been at Frithwood for a couple of months and has been provided with excellent care. From the beginning, the staff have been kind, attentive and truly dedicated to her well-being. Facilities are always clean, well-maintained and welcoming. Communication with the team has also been
excellent, and we have felt reassured knowing she's in good hands. I would highly recommend Frithwood nursing home to any family looking for high-quality, compassionate care.

This is the second time Mum and Dad have stayed here for their annual respite care break.
I was so pleased to have found a care home which is so nice having experienced quite a few which were dreadful! I actually requested this home again.
The home manager and his team can't do enough for you
and my parents. Mum and Dad seem happy to be there and even play games which is very unusual for them! I am sent videos of them whilst I'm away which is very reassuring and they're always responsive to calls and emails.
Mum especially isn't the easiest with her Dementia but even she seems happy to be at Frithwood.

Upon arrival, the staff seem engaged in their work and doing work all the time instead of checking their phones etc. They talk to the residents and ask if they are okay.
Rooms and toilets are clean.
