Very friendly and clean.

Mum has been at Corner Lodge for 1 year. She is happy & settled. The regular activities offered keep her entertained & physically & mentally active. The staff are excellent & go over & above to ensure residents are happy. Any concerns are dealt with promptly.

My father has only been here 3 weeks and in that time the staff and management have all been helpful with queries, dad seems to enjoy himself and he looks well looked after.

I've always found all the staff and management team to be very kind and helpful for Mum and also to us. The home is looked after well and the activities on offer are varied and really good for all residents. I'm at ease with mum staying here as I know she is being cared for and looked after

A happy, caring home. All staff are brilliant, treating patients with care and respect. It's also great to see the teamwork between the staff. The range, frequency and opportunities to get involved with activities is excellent. As a visitor we are always made to feel very welcome and nothing is ever
too much trouble. Overall I am very pleased with the way my mother is cared for.

Mum is a lady with advanced dementia, she can be extremely difficult to deal with. The care staff have shown patience and understanding when dealing with her personal care! The management and staff have been so welcoming to not only my mum but also to my brother and myself when visiting.

We had a bad experience with another home, and when my sister and I came to Corner Lodge, the manager & another lady put our minds at rest and answered our questions & concerns brilliantly. Our family is extremely pleased with all the activities that are put on at Corner Lodhe. The social media page
is a great idea to keep me updated on all that my mum & other residents have been doing. All the staff are welcoming and pleasant to talk to. 5*

Found the home, very welcoming. Constant up date on relatives care, especially end of life care. Everything was in place.
The person in charge of end of life care, was supportive and involved conversations and visits from the hospice team as well as the GP.
Found my relatives care first class, .
Was able to come in and help with meals and feeding, during, protective mealtimes, on my relatives poorly days I was able to come in to be with relative, supporting my relative.
Staff were always polite, and made me feel at home.
I was offered drinks, and was able to have meals with my relative, at a small cost and I was happy to pay.
Meals were of good standard and tasted nice.
Activities, were very good, and I was able to join in with as well, with my relative, with meaningful conversations, with not just my relative but with other residents using the service. Was able, to see care plans on request.. always updated on care plans, and involved .I found the management very approachable

Mum has received brilliant care since she moved in during 2022. There have been occasional problems but staff and management have always listened to any concerns and have rectified them quickly and efficiently. A lovely care home with a welcoming family atmosphere.

Knowing that my husband is being cared for very well by friendly, competent staff is a huge relief. It is very hard to stop doing the caring at home for myself and I am sure family of other residents feel the same.

We are very happy with the care mum receives. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and care about the residents. We had quite a difficult time getting mum a permanent residency here, but the staff were a massive help in achieving this and the support they offered, made it happen and we can't
thank them enough. Thank you for looking after our mum.

Every time we come to see mum, she is happy. Mum is so well looked after as are all the residents. All the family are grateful for all the love and care given to mum. Thank you.
