From beginning to end the staff have been professional, courteous, helpful and supportive to both me and my mother. At no time were we made to feel a nuisance. The activities were appropriate and inclusive. My only mark down was the room, to good and this just because the room was not ensuite and a
commode was in the room.

To all of the staff at Tenterden, every single person who works at this care home, we want to express our gratitude for the daily goodwill and kindnesses that everyone of you displayed towards our very special mum. Our experience of Tenterden Care Home cannot be relayed or commended enough. We know
our mum received sweetness + was attended to with care and dignity. From the small details of knowing what she liked at lunch times, without her having to ask + relaxed bright faces there at every turn. we really are impressed and cannot commend Tenterden enough for the attention shown.

As I was a first time resident, to holiday respite care for 3 weeks.
Tenterden House was as expected. As my wife spent some weeks as a resident with health issues earlier in the year.
Tenterden House certainly felt homely and all staff extremely helpful & friendly in all aspects at my wellfare.
The food was excellent and well presented. My room was just right for my needs, ensuite, etc.

I needed a week's convalescence after having a hip replacement. I was looked after very well indeed. Everyone was kind and considerate. The food was good and plentiful, and nicely served. (I had breakfast and every meal in my room but took lunch in the dining room). My room was a comfortable
ensuite. I enjoyed being able to sit in the nice gardens and try out my crutches on the circular walkway. I also enjoyed company of other residents, some younger and some old. People recovering from strokes, or just needing elder care.

Whilst my wifes stay at Tenterden House was only a few days prior to her death it was apparent from the start that there was a very caring attitude.
Tenterden House is in a beautiful setting.
I certainly appreciate everything especially the caring staff.

I can not thank the team at Tenterden House enough for the incredible care and compassion they showed my husband during his time there. The staff were warm and welcoming and genuinely dedicated to making every day as comfortable and dignified as possible; nothing was ever too much trouble. They
treated him with such kindness and respect. The atmosphere in the home is one of real warmth; it felt like a family. Thank you to everyone who made a very difficult time that much easier.

I cannot thank the staff enough here for making my mothers move to full time care a most friendly and welcoming experience in this most difficult time. So attentive and helpful to the resident and family visitors. They all go out their way to assist and proactively ensure that care is of a very
good standard . I am reassured
that this care is normal for a most well run care home .Alot of other homes could really learn alot from Tenterden and how to care for the elderly , Thank you all

Our Dad has been a resident at Tenterden for 22 months after a difficult time following Mum's death, then periods of hospitalisation for an increasing number of falls. Everyone at Tenterden was incredibly helpful and welcoming from the outset. The staff and managers are wonderful, they understand
what's important to Dad and go out of their way to proactively and considerately ensure he is well cared for.
Day to day care and support is well managed with care planning regularly updated with a focus on Dad's needs. His room has an ensuite and facilities are well maintained, with regular cleaning. The Chef has taken the time to understand Dad's preferences. There is emphasis on involvement in activities but recognition that quiet time is also important if preferred. The nursing team have patiently managed and progressed a number of subsequent medical issues.
It is very reassuring to know Dad is being cared for compassionately, in a safe environment, under the supervision of nursing staff

My Mum was admitted to Tenterton House for 6 weeks as she was non weight bearing following a fracture of her femur. They were very accommodating taking her at short notice. Overall we were very pleased with the stay. My Mother did find the mornings frustrating as she is used to getting up and
dressed promptly, but as she required assistance she often was not ready until after 11am.

I was very impressed with the excellent and professional service provided by all the staff there. Although my late mother wasn't able to take advantage of all the facilities during her very short stay there, I am sure that she would have enjoyed them all. I would definitely recommend this location
to anyone thinking about going into a home.

My mum was placed at Tenterden House after a 6 week stay in hospital. From the moment she arrived, she was made to feel comfortable and at home. We as a family were taken very good care of when visiting mum. The staff were excellent, very thoughtful, respectful and caring. Thank you all.

Lovely bedroom facing the garden - so good bright outlook. Food excellent and options for family to join for Sunday lunch at an extra cost - which was very tasty and plentiful. Staff very friendly. Attentive chef and kitchen staff - very accommodating to individual needs - vaied menu. Nursing staff
professional and caring.

Tenterden House were looking after my father from May 2024 to January 2025 (father passed away 26/1/25). He was very comfortable and happy at the home and all the carers and staff treated him with care and dignity at all times. We felt we formed some lovely relationships with the staff during this
time, and would highly recommend Tenterden House.

Staff from all departments looked after Nanny so well, from day one until she passed away. Great team and always been involved. She was always looking clean and comfortable when we visited. Thank you to all for the great support for us and Nanny.

I find the staff look after me well. The room is tidy and clean. The meals are very good and I am not forced to eat anything I don't like.

I was recommended for my mother to be a resident in Tenterden House, and I am so pleased that I accepted the advice. It is a well-run care home with plenty of staff who are well-trained. The care home is kept spotlessly clean, my mother's room is a nice size, and the home feels 'homely'. The food is
really good, a variety of meals, and plenty of activities to keep everyone stimulated. Overall, my mother is looked after well. Thank you, Tenterden House, and I would definitely recommend them.

Our mother was given the best care we could ever have asked for. Her every need was catered for on the physical and emotional level. The team was clearly dedicated and reflected a deep love and compassion for her. We were given detailed reports on her condition every day. My sister, who visited our
mother daily, was always greeted with a smiling face and all her queries answered to her satisfaction. It was heartening to know that our mother's last weeks were spent in such a caring and supportive environment.

Mum is treated very well by all the staff and they try and include her in activities but she is not really interested in the games/television but does take part in a few things.
No real problems, though sometimes the bed laundry is a bit hit-and-miss. Overall, Mum is quite happy here and feels
safe.
