My mother is a resident. She is the happiest she has been in years, the care provided by every member of staff is exceptional. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. I cannot express how grateful I am to see my mother so well taken care of in every aspect.

My mum went into Loose Valley Care Centre for end of life. The 3 weeks that she spent there in a beautiful room was the best she could have even been in as it was peaceful and every member of staff from management to the cleaners, nurses, carers were excellent in their compassion and care for her in
the time she spent there. I cannot thank them enough.

I came to Loose Valley for rehabilitation after a serious motorcycle accident, with broken bones in my leg, arm and shoulders. I was unable to weight bear for the first 8 weeks and received in-house physio to build my strength.
In the last five weeks, I have learnt to stand, walk with a zimmer
and now with a quad stick. I have also learnt to walk up and down stairs. The in-house physio has been brilliant and has enabled me to go home to complete my rehabilitation.
I have been well looked after by all of the staff who were kind, caring and friendly. Unlike most residents my single objective has been to recover to leave and go home. Loose Valley has enabled me to achieve my objective in less time than had been expected. I have been in a caring home during a very challenging time in my life. I have no doubt that the support and encouragement of everyone in the Home has contributed to my recovery.

My mother spent the final 12 days of her life in Loose Valley Care Centre looked after by the professional team of friendly and caring staff. As you enter the beautiful building the warm and friendly atmosphere greets you and you feel like you are walking into someone's home rather than a Care
Centre. The team treated mum with such dignity and respect and provided a first class holistic approach to her care. We cannot fault any aspect of the care she received and highly recommend the Care Centre to anyone looking for a facility for their loved ones.

Very happy for my friend to be staying in your care home. She gets support, care, treated with dignity. Staff and management are kind and you can see care for all residents. The standard of care, cleanliness, support for not only residents but family and friends is extremely high.

We came to the home for the first time to visit a family friend, we were surprised at the cleanliness and warm welcome from the staff, I used to work at a few care homes and they were not up to the standard of Loose Valley, it smelt amazing and we loved the interaction between staff and the ladies
we saw there. I'm a huge animal lover and know they really help people to feel relaxed and at home, so love the cat resident he is peaceful.

After a motorcycle accident in April 2025 I spent 8 weeks in hospital. Owing to a fractured pelvis, at the end of that time I still had limited mobility and it was not feasible for me to go back home, so I was placed at Loose Valley Care Centre.
I was initially very wary of going to a care home,
but I was very pleasantly surprised.
The setting is very pleasant, all my visitors commented on how nice it was there
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They all seem to actually enjoy their job, which is nice to see.
There is a physio who is onsite twice a week.
They don't just look after resident's physical needs, they also arrange activities, such a quizzes, bingo, visiting entertainment and excursions. I went on 3 of the outings and very much enjoyed them.
I spent just over 6 weeks there, until my pelvis had healed sufficiently to allow me to go home.
It was hard to say goodbye when I left.

My Nan was a resident here, for end of life care. All of the staff, Nurses, Care Assistants, Housekeepers, Reception, Kitchen Staff and the manager were simply amazing. They showed so much empathy for the family whilst still having a smile on thier faces. They treated my Nan with so much care and
respect. I'm so glad she was here for her end of life. I can't recommend Loose Valley enough.

From the moment you walk through the door, you are met with smiling faces and a very warm welcome. Nothing is too much bother for any of the staff. Mum has only been in resident since November 2024 but already feels it is her home, she feels safe and is well fed and cared for. If I had had to choose
a home for her, I couldn't have chosen a better one. (She was discharged from hospital to Loose Valley.) I have nothing but praise for the whole team. Thank you for looking after my mum.

Originally, both my parents were in the home. Sadly, my mum passed away a year ago, all the carers and staff were excellent to me and my dad when this happened and my dad has continued to receive excellent care. My dad enjoys all trips out and the family fun-filled environment that's provided.

Placed in Loose Valley Care Centre after being discharged from hospital for bed rest due to no weight bearing on left leg. The home is very nice. All staff day and night are a credit to Loose Valley, nothing is too much for them. Treated with respect and dignity by all.

Our Mother came to live at Loose Valley in February this year. We can credit the staff with 'rescuing' her so we don't feel she would have survived had she remained in her own home. Her personal care is very good and lots of attention is given to her emotional well being too.
Activities and
entertainment feature often and aim to be very inclusive. Mum really enjoys the music and visits from animals/pets. It is very reassuring that we can visit anytime and the staff are so approachable. As a family, we can relax as we know that all aspects of mum's care are being catered for in every way possible. Loose Valley is very much her home now.

My dad has gone to Loose Valley for respite care and I have been very impressed by how the team has worked so hard to make him welcome. He had not seen my mum for 9 months and with the team's help, we were able to get them together this week which was wonderful.

My mum has been at Loose Valley Care Centre for over a year. She has been extremely happy. Her care is second to none. All the carers are friendly and treat her with dignity and respect. The activities for all the residents are excellent, the activities staff go to great lengths to make them
enjoyable. The home is always clean and well-presented. Everyone there is so kind and friendly. I cannot recommend Loose Valley Care Centre enough!

Loose Valley Care Home is such a friendly caring place.
Very homely and the staff are so caring and conscientious.
The manager has always a friendly word when I visit.
Mum is very happy here and feels so at home.

Great chef. Mum loves the dessert trolley.
Good activities.
Gardens are very pleasant and the house is grand and made of stone.
Bedrooms are generous size.
Could do with better lighting.

The staff at Loose Valley Care Centre are always so friendly and welcoming. We feel comforted that my husband's mother is well taken care of and all her needs are met. We visit my mother-in-law regularly and the home is always kept clean and people are being treated with dignity and respect. Thank
you for giving my mother-in-law the highest level of care that she needs at this time. We are very happy that we chose Loose Valley Care Centre for this stage of her care.

All the staff at Loose Valley Care Centre are amazing. From the manager to the care assistants to the kitchen staff and all in between are just a fabulous team. I keep telling everyone that has need to ask about Mum and how we worked out by finding this facility and team. Mum is comfortable, and

A very good place to be here.
I am not able to think of a better place to be, it feels as if I am in my own home.
We have day trips, we have entertainment.
Overall it's well-run, the staff and management are very good.

After my stepfather at the age of 83 was diagnosed with cancer on top of other complications with 3 months to live, he was allocated a position at Loose Valley Nursing Home for terminal cancer.
The staff from top to bottom were amazing, treating him with dignity and respect.
I cannot thank them
enough for all their hard work.
