As a regular visitor to Oxford House Nursing Home, I consistently see the same high standard of care and professionalism. The home is always clean, well-presented, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit pleasant.
The staff are friendly, approachable, and genuinely caring. They
take the time to chat with residents and visitors, and it's clear they treat everyone with kindness and respect. There's always a calm, positive feeling throughout the home, and residents appear comfortable and well looked after.
Each time I visit, I leave feeling reassured and impressed by the dedication of the team. It's a lovely environment, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Oxford House Nursing Home.

Every time I visit I am made to feel welcome and have every confidence my husband is safe and being very well cared for.
The staff also show an interest in my well being which is very caring of them.

The care my dear sister received, from both the managers and staff, shortly before she passed, in November 2025, was excellent. They did their very best to alleviate the most upsetting and emotional situation for both of us.
And when I returned to the Care Home, to tidy matters relating to my
sister's passing, I was truly touched by the offers of condolences by everyone there. I could tell how much she was loved. It replicated exactly the passing of my dear Mother at the home a few years earlier.
I will always be grateful for what Oxford House did, for both my Mother and sister, in their final days. It still means a lot.

Oxford House Care Home is truly outstanding. The management team leads with professionalism, compassion, and exceptional organisation. They are approachable, supportive, and clearly dedicated to the highest standards of care.
The nurses are highly skilled, attentive, and incredibly kind, always
putting residents' wellbeing first. The care staff are warm, patient, and treat everyone with dignity and genuine affection - nothing is ever too much trouble.
The cleaners deserve huge praise too - the home is consistently spotless, fresh, and welcoming.
Oxford House sets the gold standard for care. An exceptional team delivering first-class service every single day. Highly recommended.

When we were looking for a Care Home for Mum, we visited several in the area, and Oxford House stood out. Now that Mum has been resident for several months, we're happy we made the right choice.
It looks and feels like a big house that has been converted to a Care Home, because that's what it is
- it's not a purpose built facility, and this gives it a homely, somewhat eclectic, feel.
Where it's outstanding, and this is by far the most important thing, is the professionalism and attitude of the staff and management. Everyone is highly committed to the welfare and wellbeing of the residents, and staff are friendly, approachable, calm and patient. If you value a low staff turnover rate, and you should, you'll find it at Oxford House.

I have found Oxford House extremely well run. The care that my uncle and aunt received was excellent. The kindness shown to me and my family by all the staff I will never forget. This is the standard all care homes should be. Thank you, Amanda and all your staff.

My friend has been a resident in Oxford House on respite care for the last three months. When he arrived he was suffering from self neglect over many months. The staff took him in and during this time they have restored his self respect and dignity. He has been, and is well cared for. The manager
and her staff have given me every assistance in my capacity as his attorney to restore his well being. I thank them all for their friendly and courteous assistance which make every visit a pleasure.

My father has been here since March 2024 and I regularly visit him twice a week. In that time I have got to know many members of staff and have always been very impressed with the high level of care and professionalism they all show when attending to my father (and other residents). The management
are always available and happy to discuss my issues that may arise. The food here is always of a high quality and varied, and the room is clean, spacious and well aired. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the level of care provided by Oxford House and believe that it represents good value for money.

I feel my mother is well cared for. The staff are in the most part attentive and caring. Obviously the building is old and therefore mayb lacking in some faciltities a more modern establishment may have.
I know my mother is in safe hands when I am not there.

Oxford house nursing home is an absolute gem! From the moment we visited, we felt welcomed and appreciated. The staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely passionate about all residents, specially from my father. The facilities are well - maintained, clean and comfortable, creating a warm
and inviting atmosphere. Activities are fantastic and diverse, which keep the residents engaged and entertained.

My father's partner has been a resident at Oxford House for almost six years now and will be 94 this year. I'm sure getting to this age has a lot to do with the excellent care she receives at Oxford House. My father who has always visited regularly is also treated with the utmost respect and

Mum has been very comfortable at Oxford House. She is well supported by staff who are very friendly. The room is nice and is kept clean. It is well furnished and is maintained well. Anything that Mum needs is sorted quickly and the staff are always on hand to help Mum e.g. changing her, keeping her
comfortable, giving medication. The staff look after family and friends who visit as well, they always ask if they want any food/drinks whilst visiting.

Dad has been living at Oxford House Nursing Home for 2 and a half years now. During his time here, he seems really settled. The atmosphere within Oxford House is always welcoming. The staff are exceptional and generally caring. Nothing is ever too much trouble and it's nice to see that Dad is

It was a daunting time for our family, finding a caring setting where we knew Mum's needs would be met. Oxford House immediately put those worries to rest; the staff are professional, caring, and kind. Mum is reaching the end of her life and being in this safe, thoughtful place is a gift that gives

My partner has only been in Oxford House for one month so it is still early days, all staff have been very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The carers and nurses do a good job and all the activities staff are very enthusiastic. The kitchen, cleaning, maintenance and laundry staff are also proficient
and amenable. Food and drink preferences are noted and provided for individuals. The meals are very basic and not wildly exciting. The management makes themselves available for personal discussions despite their busy workloads. So far, so good.

Oxford House Nursing Home is a very caring and comfortable home for my husband. The staff are wonderful and genuine towards all the residents. They are very respectful too and kind to visitors and their families.
