Oxford House Nursing Home

The treatment of my father is excellent and very caring and give him good quality of life which is what is keeping him going.

My father (now 95) has been a resident at Oxford House since 2021. Despite a difficult transition into care during the 2020 pandemic, he has settled in incredibly well at Oxford House, thanks in no small part to the hardworking, caring team, some of whom have worked for Oxford House for over 30 years! I cannot speak highly enough of Amanda, Sanjay, Sairah, Monica and the rest of the staff, who have treated my Dad like family and always welcome us so warmly when we come to visit him. The medical attention he gets there is likewise second to none and it gives me great peace of mind that he is in such capable hands. A+++++

We would like to thank everyone at Oxford House. They have really looked after our grandad/Dad. He has been here a few weeks now. We feel he has settled in very well. He often says how lovely the carers and staff are. Everyone really treats family very well when visiting. Thank you so much.

The care & nursing help exceeded my expectations on all levels. The nursing home (Oxford House) is kept especially clean & tidy. No awkward smells, lovely! Thank you to the staff who are all involved. Generally a very well presented nursing home, a credit to the cleaners & admin staff. What more can I say but thank you very much for my wife's stay & care! I am sure the calm & serene outlook was what was needed for my wife's recovery from delusion at hospital. Each time I visit, I leave feeling reassured and impressed by the dedication of the team. It's a lovely environment, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Oxford House Nursing Home.

The staff also show an interest in my well being which is very caring of them.

The care my dear sister received, from both the managers and staff, shortly before she passed, in November 2025, was excellent. They did their very best to alleviate the most upsetting and emotional situation for both of us.

And when I returned to the Care Home, to tidy matters relating to my sister's passing, I was truly touched by the offers of condolences by everyone there. I could tell how much she was loved. It replicated exactly the passing of my dear Mother at the home a few years earlier.

I will always be grateful for what Oxford House did, for both my Mother and sister, in their final days. It still means a lot.

Oxford House sets the gold standard for care. An exceptional team delivering first-class service every single day. Highly recommended.

Where it's outstanding, and this is by far the most important thing, is the professionalism and attitude of the staff and management. Everyone is highly committed to the welfare and wellbeing of the residents, and staff are friendly, approachable, calm and patient. If you value a low staff turnover rate, and you should, you'll find it at Oxford House.

My friend has been a resident in Oxford House on respite care for the last three months. When he arrived he was suffering from self neglect over many months. The staff took him in and during this time they have restored his self respect and dignity. He has been, and is well cared for. The manager and her staff have given me every assistance in my capacity as his attorney to restore his well being. I thank them all for their friendly and courteous assistance which make every visit a pleasure.

My father has been here since March 2024 and I regularly visit him twice a week. In that time I have got to know many members of staff and have always been very impressed with the high level of care and professionalism they all show when attending to my father (and other residents). The management are always available and happy to discuss my issues that may arise. The food here is always of a high quality and varied, and the room is clean, spacious and well aired. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the level of care provided by Oxford House and believe that it represents good value for money.

I know my mother is in safe hands when I am not there.

Oxford house nursing home is an absolute gem! From the moment we visited, we felt welcomed and appreciated. The staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely passionate about all residents, specially from my father. The facilities are well - maintained, clean and comfortable, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Activities are fantastic and diverse, which keep the residents engaged and entertained.

Mum has settled in very well. The family are happy with the progress she has made and did like the experience with the ducklings that you gave her. So to all of the staff, please keep up the good work!

My father's partner has been a resident at Oxford House for almost six years now and will be 94 this year. I'm sure getting to this age has a lot to do with the excellent care she receives at Oxford House. My father who has always visited regularly is also treated with the utmost respect and kindness.

The staff are lovely, caring towards Mum. We are all really happy with the care Mum receives here. Thank you all.

Mum has been very comfortable at Oxford House. She is well supported by staff who are very friendly. The room is nice and is kept clean. It is well furnished and is maintained well. Anything that Mum needs is sorted quickly and the staff are always on hand to help Mum e.g. changing her, keeping her comfortable, giving medication. The staff look after family and friends who visit as well, they always ask if they want any food/drinks whilst visiting.
