View Full Details of Ashlea Court Care HomeAgain, I am delighted to say that the whole staff team go above and beyond to care so well for our beloved Mum at Ashlea. Mum has now lived in Ashlea for almost 8 years. The staff know her well, and provide for all her needs with kindness and compassion. Staff communicate well with us as a family, and keep us up to date. Mum now finds it hard to participate in any activities, but the music and dancing bring her joy and keep her singing. A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone everyone.
The care my aunt is given is excellent. Very clean and bright. Staff are friendly and polite and nothing is too much trouble. There are lots of activities and outings and I love that my aunt can access the walking club in her wheelchair.
From the first time seeing the home, both my sister and I knew this would be the right place for Mum. The staff showing us around and subsequently showing mum around were absolutely brilliant to her and us. Since she has moved into her room, she has been so well looked after. It has taken her a good few weeks but she is definitely settling in more now. All the staff have been great and so friendly and she has been taking part in some of the activities. She loves the garden and would sit out all the time. She loves her room and has her own things around her. Overall we would highly recommend Ashlea Court.
Staff are unfailingly courteous and helpful - they are your biggest asset! They treat my wife as if she were a member of their own family - with love and affection.
Cannot praise Ashlea Court staff high enough. They take great care of my mum, are very patient, kind and understanding of her needs. When visiting, they are very welcoming and helpful with any queries that arise. Her bedroom is always clean and tidy. They have various activities planned and provide a timetable of when they are taking place. Ashlea Court provides us with peace of mind that my mum is being well cared for.
My mother was a resident for just over 12 months, and in that time she was extremely well cooked after and cared for. My mum was very much at ease and content during her stay. When she took ill, the care reflected my mum's needs and the additional attention required.
My sister is well cared for and happy. Staff can't do enough to make sure everything possible is done for residents' care and well-being. My sister loves a good old laugh, and I can see this rapport with the staff and residents, and in communications and updates with myself. Food is plentiful, and plenty of choices. Home is spotlessly clean, made welcome as soon as you come in, nice atmosphere, reception is always here with a friendly hello.
Myself and my family can't speak highly enough of the care my mother has recieved over the past year at Ashlea court care home. The staff are truly wonderful, kind, patient and genuinely caring. Special thank you to the manager who always goes that extra mile, her dedication really shines through. It is clear the staff take time to get to know the residents and that personal touch has made such a difference to my mums happiness and well-being. Every time we visit she is smiling and relaxed, which gives my family such piece of mind. Thank you to all the team for the excellent care and the warmth you bring to my mum every day, it means so much to us and we probably don't say it enough again Thank you.
My mum recently had her room floor renewed, she was given new furniture, which we really appreciated. We ordered another set of drawers; however, the wrong colour was sent, when I discussed this with the staff they sorted this and gave my mum a new set to match the drawers. One of the staff worked hard and tirelessly to swap those over for us. I want to thank both staff for their support which help ease the stress to myself and my mum. My mum loves staying in Ashlea Court, she loves all the staff, which makes our family happy.
All of the staff and carers are helpful and keep me informed of any issues arising in the care of my sister, i.e. if she is ill or requires any injections etc. The carers are especially kind and patient with my sister, who can be a handful at times. I have no qualms with my sister's care.
My uncle is in this care home for respite, the staff are taking excellent care of him and his every need. He is happy there and this makes life better for my aunt as she was feeling really bad that she could not look after him at home. The staff treat my uncle like family and my aunt too when she visits. A beautiful well kept building full of people who cannot help enough. My aunt is now happy to accept that my uncle is best staying at Ashlea Court on a permanent basis as both his and her needs and emotions are getting met. Well done every one at Ashlea you do a fantastic job

I am glad I chose this home for my husband who has been a resident almost one year. Staff are very approachable and prepared to listen to any worries/problems you foresee. The home is very nice and I am looking forward to the renovations due to take place in residents' bedrooms. My husband's room is definitely in need of a makeover but I know this in the future plans. My husband is very happy in this home and I am happy for him.
The staff are very caring. Management very helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend this care home.
My husband was admitted on the 29th of January 2024. It was quickly obvious that his general health and mood were improving compared to the previous four months in a dementia unit in hospital. This has continued and though I'm aware that Alzheimer's is progressive, I think that his care is helpful to his well-being. Staff and management are caring and helpful to me as well as to my husband.
Ashley Court has been a fantastic choice of care home for my mum. She has had a great 2 years here with very high standards of help and care from all staff. The home is professionally run and is well equipped for my mum's mobility needs. It is so reassuring to know my mum is happy here. Many thanks!
