View Full Details of Red Court Care HomeI returned to Red Court 10 months after an earlier stay in the previous year. I had come from hospital to recover and gain some independence before going home following knee replacement surgery. Red Court is a pleasant place with friendly staff and neat surrounds in particularly appreciated the neatness of the bedroom and the facilities provided for showering and washing daily as needed. They offer a good environment for quick recovery and well being.
Mum has been at Red Court for 18 months now. She was adamant she never wanted to end up in a care home but her detierating health meant she needed the nursing care. I have found all the staff to be so helpful, caring and professional. They always greet me with a smile and most by my name. The carers and nursing staff have always listened to her needs and my questions and shown empathy. Sadly Mum passed away but I would like to thank all the staff for their care and support.
My father was cared for with love and compassion by all the members of staff over the 20 months he was in their care. I never had any feeling that he wasn't being cared for, and I visited him fairly frequently over that period. I am very glad I found Red Court and would recommend it for anyone seeking care for a loved one. I can't comment on activities as my father wasn't too keen on those.
Friendly and welcoming staff who are so caring. I have told others about Red Court so that they can place their loved one's here.
Thank you to the staff for their kind care to my father. He was only with you for a few days before he sadly passed away. Thank you also for the care and kindness you gave my wife and me at this sad time. We appreciate it.
It well-furnished, friendly organised, well run place to be.
They are all very good and kind people. They are also nice. The nurses and carers look after my husband well. I will definitely recommend this home to people. I am pleased with all the services they have rendered so far. I feel included when I visit. They look after me too when I visit my husband. I am very content.
Made my grandmother comfortable, care staff were very kind.
My father spent 2 weeks in respite care following a fall and was initially apprehensive about going to a care home especially as Italian was his first language. However he was well cared for and made to feel comfortable by all the staff which made him very happy during his stay. At the end of the 2 weeks he was fully rested and would return if further respite is needed in the future.
My brother was in Red Court for 10 months. I found the staff extremely caring and kind when tending to him. He was always clean and fresh, well fed with patience and caring and always with a smile. The admin staff always greeted me with a cheerful 'hello' and how are you. A nice cup of tea and sometimes a sandwich always welcome after a 4 hour journey. I could not fault anything so a big thank you
My husband was a patient at Red Court home for 6 months, during this time the staff treated him with great care. They were diligent and kind and they quickly understood his needs. They were always cheerful which made him really happy as he was a very cheerful man and always saw the goodness in everyone. His days spent here were full of laughter the staff are always willing to help. I'd like to take this time to thank them.
I have found Red Court Care Home staff to be extremely professional, competent and compassionate. If there are any concerns regarding the care of my mother the management and care staff are always helpful.
Nice friendly and helpful staff who seem to be very professional.
In short, I see professionalism exhibited across the board. The care home is more than homey.
Initial review of the home was amazing, everything was explained and the brochure given. Upon mum's arrival all due diligence and health checks were conducted. All fire drills completed and the safety checks had all been completed in and out of the building. Interaction for both mum and myself, from all levels of staff, reception, managers, housekeepers and carers was good.
My relative's stay at Red Court Care Home was not a happy one. The standard of his care was poor. Although fed somewhat adequately, and personal care was attended to, his social and emotional needs were completely ignored, and the care staff did not know how to handle him when he was confused. He was left in bed all day every day. Appointments were messed up, and I had to micro-manage by contacting the doctor, as they did not notice things, or pass on information. Lack of attention and poor communication. His quality of life has drastically improved since moving to another Home. They get him out of bed every day. He eats in the dining room and spends time in communal areas, and engages in activities. He has made close connections with the staff caring for him, and has even been out on a trip. His mental health is so much better, due to better care, stimulation, and being treated with dignity and respect. This is how Care should be, but was sadly lacking at Red Court.
The team at Red Court are very caring, kind, and friendly. My Dad was very happy here, he made friends with all of the staff. From the kitchen, care team, nurses, and groundsman. Dad was very happy here.
My experience in Red Court Care Home so far has been very positive. All the staff here are nice to me and I am very grateful for the support and care.
Red Court offers a beautiful environment. The garden is lovely! The staff are friendly and professional and my husband has thrived since he's been there covering from a stroke.
The staff at the care home are always pleasant/happy. My uncle can be very set in his ways and awkward to assist. He isn't very active after his original fall in 2023. The meals could be better, he often complains of meals being too salty, this unfortunately hasn't changed. Diets are varied here. There are exercise classes, entertainment provided but it is up to individuals to join, you are not pushed to join. Cleaning is good, laundry good. Medicals I personally have only seen the doctor once here but they come once a week so I am told. They are good at getting family in hospital if fallen or other problems. Staff attend funerals.
