Have made a vareity of good friends since moving into Ochar Nursing Home and I enjoy the social outings and find helpful staff. There is always welcomes when my grand daughters visit. They are happy as they and myself have settle in excellently. My room is second to none.

An elderly relative experienced a couple of weeks of illness, leaving her unable to look after herself at home.
At very short-notice, we were able to secure her a room at The Orchar for a period of respite while we arranged care at home.
From the moment she arrived, the staff could not have been
kinder nor more attentive. The staff gently encouraged her with her nutrition, exercise and engagement with the other residents. As a result, she very quickly began to feel like her old self again.
She thoroughly enjoyed the food, the attractive communal areas and the privacy of her spacious room.
With care at home arranged, she was able to leave after 3 weeks, having made many new friends and some special memories. She has been back to visit and was given another warm welcome.
I would definitely recommend The Orchar, for the quality of the care provided and the peace of mind it gave us as a family.

My mother is very happy and settled in Orchar House. The staff are attentive and very kind to the residents. My Mother had a wonderful 100th birthday which would not have been possible without the staff going above and beyond to make her day so very special.

My mum -Jean, jas only been in Orchar since start of November, We were all made very welcome straight away when mum came for a preview visit. The care home is kept very well and kept clean.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful, go above and beyond to help. My mum is very well cared for and
looked after too. We are always promptly informed of any health update, falls etc.
Very informative of any changes or concerns. I always feel she is in safe hands and dont need to worry anymore.

My mother was a resident in Orchar Nursing Home for 2 years until her death at the age of 92 last month. My family and I all agree that she could not have been in a better facility. At all times she was treated with the greatest respect, attention and love by the staff that went above and beyond the
call of duty. I would have no hesitation recommending Orchar to anybody in the future and will always be grateful to all the staff that cared for her in her final years.

My friend for which I have Power of Attorney, is frail and has very little eyesight. Staff have helped her in relinquishing the independence she has enjoyed always, both personally and professionally. She chose Orchar for herself a number of years ago, and I believe she made an excellent choice.
Within the constraints of a nursing home environment staff provide as natural a home as possible - activities are especially varied, interesting and fun.

I have been extremely happy during my stay here. I have met some lovely people and have made some new friends. I enjoy the activities here, particularly the music. I would be willing and happy to recommend it to others.

For the short time my cousin was with Orchar Nursing Home, she was happy, content and cheerful. The care and attention extended to my cousin by all staff was exemplary. Her favourite moment during her stay was music and song provided by the entertainer with her violin.

A wonderful care home that went above and beyond for my father, who spent 3 months there. The staff were amazing, the care and love shown made Dad feel very relaxed and at home. I can highly recommend Orchar. Thank you lovely people 10/10.

I have been in Orchar Nursing Home for one month. What a wonderful treat, not to do anything just sit and wait for all my designated helpers to assist me with all my needs. So lovely to see a happy smiling face and hear the words, good morning Joan. The we trip off arm in arm and have our breakfast.
The food here is just very good, just like home cooking, best bit is no dishes to wash. I feel very very much part of the extended family of Orchar. The whole place shines. The staff are all wonderful.

We are delighted that our mum lives with you at Orchar Nursing Home. The level of care is 1st rate. We know that her needs are met. The staff are all genuinely interested in Mum's wellbeing. We feel that she is not simply cared for but loved. Thank you for your great work.

My mother has been a resident of Orchar Nursing Home for several years now. She is extremely happy here and very well cared for. The staff are very friendly, always courteous and treat residents with the utmost care and respect. The food is in plentiful supply and a varied menu is displayed so all
residents and families can see what they are having to eat that day. First-class entertainment and activities are available to all the residents and my mum just loves these, especially the singsongs! The rooms are immaculate, freshly decorated and feel very warm and homely. The care home is spotless and redecorated to a very high standard on a regular basis. On a personal note, I highly recommend Orchar Home as I believe it is one of the finest homes around for residents requiring 24-hour care.

Orchard Nursing Home is excellent. The staff are brilliant with residents and families and are with your family member from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. Entertainment, food and rooms are out of this world. Could not have found a better home for Mum.
