A spacious, well-appointed dining room, two comfortable, plush lounges and the garden sitting area all overlook the breathtaking, panoramic view. Residents are also welcome to take advantage of a quiet sitting corner, the hairdressing salon, two passenger lifts and off-street parking with level-access.
The appetising, tasty and nutritious menu at Orchar provides residents with a healthy and varied diet. Specific dietary requirements and residents’ preferences are catered for. Meals are served in an elegant dining room, but residents can dine in their own rooms if they wish.

Mum went into Orchar Care Home on I think Monday 15th of June I have been extremely pleased at the level of care and so much more given to her at Orchar Care Home. I visit a lot and the no of carers on hand to help the residents is excellent and they always seem so friendly and cheerful. In the most positive way, Mum is encouraged to participate at the daily activities. She really enjoys the food and looks forward to her meals. Her room is very comfortable with a very comfy/cosy bed. There are so many good things to say about Orchar Care Home and I am very thankful mum ended up there.
It's a real pleasure getting to know Mum and caring for her each day. Thank you for trusting us with her care - we truly appreciate it.

Mum has now been in Orchar for 6 weeks - during this time ALL members of staff have been kind and attentive to her needs. The standard of care has been exceptional. She receives excellent nursing care for a variety of complex needs. Accommodation is wonderful - I cannot recommend it more highly!

I have lived in Orchar Nursing Home for 3 years. I am very happy here. Nothing is too much trouble to anyone. Manager is very hands on, always gives you time of day. I would say its an excellent home. Everybody tries there best.

I have found all members of staff to be kind, courteous, helpful, friendly, considerate and nothing is ever too much trouble. They have helped my godmother settle in well. At very short-notice, we were able to secure her a room at The Orchar for a period of respite while we arranged care at home.
From the moment she arrived, the staff could not have been kinder nor more attentive. The staff gently encouraged her with her nutrition, exercise and engagement with the other residents. As a result, she very quickly began to feel like her old self again.
She thoroughly enjoyed the food, the attractive communal areas and the privacy of her spacious room.With care at home arranged, she was able to leave after 3 weeks, having made many new friends and some special memories. She has been back to visit and was given another warm welcome.
I would definitely recommend The Orchar, for the quality of the care provided and the peace of mind it gave us as a family.

Within the constraints of a nursing home environment staff provide as natural a home as possible - activities are especially varied, interesting and fun.
