Here, visitors are made welcome and valued in their support of the resident. We notice that people are smiling when we come into the home, and we were particularly impressed and touched by the staff coming into Mary's room to sing Happy Birthday on her 80th. They also laid on a delicious buffet tea
for the guests. Many seem happy in this home and appreciate the cheerful members of staff who pop into her room to care for her or have a chat.

I love to visit the home. My husband Brian has been here for over a year. Georgina, the activities lady, picks me up to come see my husband.
The staff are brilliant, helpful and friendly - always clean and tidy all around.

A particular member of staff was excellent at supporting.

When my brother was admitted, I was so upset that we had to put him in care, but the management & staff were very supportive. My brother needs medical nursing and not dementia, so a very difficult care package is required. So far, I have found the staff honest & helpful at all times.

Hamilton do a great job looking after my mum, who is blind.
Staff are always kind and considerate, looking at ways to stimulate Mum.
Definitely recommend.
I trust and feel confident in the care Mum receives.

I have dealt with all the various departments whilst Dad has been here; management, admin, entertainment, nursing and carers. All the staff in these departments have behaved extremely professionally and with friendliness.

My mother was treated respectfully and gently during her final years with very aggressive Alzheimer's disease. The staff did everything they could to give her an interesting and happy life. They also ensured she has a quiet and dignified death. They really pulled out all of the stops to do the best
for mum and I am very glad I chose Hamilton Nursing Home to take care of her.

All the staff, from management down to the carers and housekeeping, have made us very welcome, and nothing is too much trouble. My husband, recently admitted to Hamilton Nursing Home, is very well looked after even though settling in will take time for him, I know that the staff will help him adjust
to his new surroundings.

We visited our friend on the day of their Christmas party, on 20th December 2024. The food, music and atmosphere was just incredible. The staff must have worked their socks off. 20 out of 10 for this home, the staff make us feel so at home every time we come to visit our friend.

My mother had a respite stay at Hamilton House following surgery. Hamilton House is a lovely home and all the staff were fantastic. They made it a very easy process at an extremely stressful time and took really good care of her. She made lots of friends while there and would be happy to return.

Despite my mother having specific mental problems, she has been made welcome at Hamilton. From the manager down to all the staff I have been impressed with their care and attention to detail. My mother sometimes has been difficult due to her long-term mental illness. All in all Hamilton staff have
handled her very well and in general terms, my mother has been a happy resident. Thank you all for looking after my mum.

Overall I think that Hamilton Nursing Home is of a very high standard. It is well run by the manager and her team and all carers/nurses.

My mother has been in Hamilton Nursing Home for 4 months now and has settled in nicely. The staff are friendly and caring and always happy to help. My mother has been a little poorly recently and the staff have been very attentive to her needs. The events that are held at the home are fabulous and
it's great to see the residents minds stimulated. Overall the home is friendly and welcoming and the staff go above and beyond to care for the residents.

Our loved one has been in Hamilton for a few years now. We have found the staff friendly and very caring, always happy to explain how the care plan is working and the health of our loved one. She is kept comfortable and looks as well as can be expected.

The care staff are all lovely, they look after my father so well.
Always friendly, in fact all the staff, cleaner, and maintenance man are all really friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
The entertainment is brilliant, there is always something being organised.
The events people are amazing.
The care home is so well run and they always have time to discuss anything.
Excellent management, so empathetic.

I visit my friend regularly and am always greeted with friendliness by staff. My friend is obviously well cared for and is happy. That is all I ask. The home has a very friendly atmosphere, always welcoming and showing great care for residents. A lovely place to be.

We were so lucky to find Hamilton at a very dark and sad time for us all after Dad passed away and Mum could no longer look after herself at home. As soon as we visited to see it, the warmth, care and happiness was evident. All the staff were amazing - such attentiveness and professionalism, with
real affection for the residents. Lots of activities, outings and fuss for things like birthdays made Hamilton a godsend for the last six months of Mum's amazing life.
