Firstly I would like to say that nearly without exception all the staff were lovely. However, there were issues that meant my mother's health suffered to the point of hospitalisation. Many of her health complaints were minimised and the record keeping did not appear to reflect what was happening.
Communication between the kitchen and nursing was a bit hit-and-miss. Where my mother was diabetic. I do truly believe that the staff cared about my Mother but somehow her needs were not met. A Safeguarding Incident has been raised and we hope this will bring back the well-managed home we believed it to be when we placed Mum there.
