I loved my visit. As usual all staff are kind and helpful to me. It was lovely to join the residents in the carol service.

The loving care and support shown by all the staff at Croft Avenue Care Home to my 98 year old mother is consistently exemplary, in particular over the last 3 months following a fall and period in hospital. Mum is always warm and comfortable. The food provided is wholesome and enjoyed by mum. We are
so pleased that mum found a new home at Croft Avenue.

On arrival we are always welcomed by the staff and they are happy to chat. My friend loves being in the home. She joins in all the activities. There is always something for them to do. She particularly enjoys the musicians who come in. She is always clean and tidy and is well fed.

I find this home very welcoming, my friend is very happy there and enjoys the food. Staff are all very pleasant.

I was pleasantly surprised by the massive gluten free chocolate cake today. It tasted delicious. Although today Mum was sleepy and not eating, I was offered a coffee and a slice. I do like the policy of welcoming guests who drop in at any time. They are very adaptable which has enriched Mum's late
life experience.

Physically my mum is thriving at the home and despite her dementia the activities provided by the staff help to stimulate her mentally and give some interest to her day. Can't speak too highly for the home and the work all the staff do.

As a visitor I find Croft Avenue to be warm, welcoming and a lovely homely atmosphere. The staff are always on hand to help and assist and are very friendly. The residents appear happy and are often engaged in various activities in which we are encouraged to join in.

It amazes me how happy my sister-in-law is at Croft Avenue, she's always clean and tidy in her appearance, and enjoys having her hair, nails & feet done. There are always a choice of activities to do and she joins in them all, she is treated with respect and dignity by all the staff, and the staff
are very pleasant with us visitors too, you always get a warm welcome.

The home staff are very welcoming and friendly. The home is light, bright and well decorated. There are plenty of activities provided for the residents. The hairdresser was in when I was there which I think is lovely. The staff seem to know the needs of the residents and go about their duties with
professionalism.

Lovely atmosphere when we visit. Mum seems very happy and well cared for. Staff always very friendly and helpful. Food always looks good and mum enjoys it.

When I visit the Care Home, I'm always impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. There is a good rapport between the staff and residents. There always seems to be a good range of activities and entertainment for the residents.

A huge set of thanks to all of the amazing staff at Croft Avenue who do such a great job of looking after my Mum in Penrith. All of their hard work is hugely appreciated, and it is a very well run establishment.

First room was small not very present . Now been moved to a larger room .seems much better . Have been able to make it more homely 100% better .
Which has helped to get her settled in , much more relaxed .

This is a well run care home run by friendly staff who look after the residents very well.
After some hesitancy about how my aunt would fit after living by herself at home, I am delighted to say she has fitted in well and is happy there.

I am delighted with the level of care and attention which is now being given to my friend, who has vascular dementia, very little vision and various mobility issues. There was an initial mistake when his mobile phone was put through the washing machine and we needed to replace it, but other than
that our experience has been very good.
When he was in his own home, with carers going in three times a day, there were times when he had to wait 7 hours between meals, irregular medicine administration and medical care. We were all concerned when he fell four times in 10 days and this precipitated the need for him to move and get better 24 -hour care.
We chose the right place. As a visitor now, rather than his carer, I am greeted with big smiles from the staff, there is a calm, relaxed atmosphere and my friend is getting used to his new home. Regular meals, regular medication, regular medical care, our worries about him falling are now gone as there is always someone nearby, night and day.

Excellent care home. The staff are incredibly professional and caring. So grateful for all their hard work. It's a very happy place to come to and my uncle is very settled here. Everyone is very helpful and communication with me and them in regards to his care and needs are excellent.

When I visit my friend's Mum, I'm always made welcome by the staff. So do feel it's very homely. There's a very good atmosphere and if I want to take my friend's mum into the garden. It's never a bother for staff to go get the wheelchair and make sure the resident is warm enough.

I've been visiting my friend for a number of years now at Croft Avenue. It's a lovely, calm, clean & friendly place. All the staff are lovely to residents and visitors alike. All I heard is good things about Croft Avenue and would not hesitate to recommend it. Five stars from me. Thank you to all
the staff, owners you are lucky to have such great staff, please look after them.

I visit my neighbour every week and she looks forward to me coming. She has been in Croft Avenue for a year now. She is so settled and calls it her home. The staff are absoulutley wonderful with all the clients, the activities are brilliant and my neighbour joins in with them all, she helps outside
in the garden area, she has always been active at home in the garden and this is lovely to see. Being a former carer myself, I would definately recommend this care home, and if and when my situation changes, this would be my preffered choice for a care home.

We are extremely happy that our mother is being looked after in a lovely, homely setting which has lovely views across to the hills. As a family we can relax knowing she is safe and is being cared for by a dedicated team of carers who ensure her needs are met sensitively. From the minute you walk
through the door you are made to feel welcome, everyone is kind and friendly and everywhere is spotlessly clean.
