The staff and the management team were excellent, I couldn't have asked for better care for my father in his final months.

Chegworth House cared for my mum during the most difficult time of her life, as she was living with cancer and dementia, and I cannot thank them enough for the compassion and dignity they showed her.
The nurses and staff were truly amazing. They never left my mum's side and treated her with
constant kindness, patience, and respect. She was never in pain, was always kept clean and comfortable, and was continually reassured. Seeing how calm and relaxed she was gave our family great comfort during an incredibly painful time.
What meant the most to us was the dignity they gave my mum right to the very end. She was cared for as a person, not just a patient, and that will stay with us forever. We are deeply grateful to every member of staff at Chegworth House for their dedication, compassion, and humanity.

My father was admitted to Chegworth Nursing Home the middle of Sept. until his death on Tues 25th Nov.
I cannot put into words how wonderful the home was. They cared for my dad with compassion and dignity. I cannot praise them enough.

My mother has been at Chegworth Nursing Home for one and a half years. The staff and management teams have been consistently excellent in their care, nursing and friendliness. When my mother has been unwell, the nursing care has been immediate and I have always been informed. When my mother's
weight was dangerously low due to reduced appetite the catering staff produced a gradually increasing diet with food she liked the most, and with gentle encouragement to eat. This was successful and her weight increased to a safer level. My mother is encouraged to enjoy the time in the lounge each day but the staff respect her wish or need to stay in her room if she was unwell. When the weather is warmer she is taken out into the garden which she enjoys. We are very grateful to management and staff for their consistent interest and care for my mother. Nothing is too much trouble including social activities, birthdays and seasonal celebrations, as well as for family visits and enquiries.

My mother has been a resident in this care home and her care has been truly outstanding. The carers are excellent and always helpful, the physiotherapy team is very competent and the managing staff are extremely helpful and thorough. The care home are excellent at keeping us informed of any updates
regarding her, and they are well deserving of my 5 star. In conclusion, the staff at Chegworth are top class of delivering an excellent quality of care. Me , Mum & my family are so grateful for everyone at Chegworth care home and for the care showed to us as a family. I highly recommended them

Now my husband has lived in Chegworth for almost a year, I thought U would post an update. I continue to be very impressed. Several times I have found the staff go beyond what is required. Recently my husband needed dental work - the secretary rang round to find an appointment, saving me the stress.
The exemplary manager arranged a helper as I would not have managed alone. The chef prepared soft food as he awaits treatment. The nursing staff are excellent at spotting health issues and provide treatment quickly. The activities coordinator does a great job of finding things to interest the residents, decorating the home throughout the year making it colourful and interesting. She even provided cards at Christmas and Valentines day for residents to give their spouse. The caretaker is very helpful - he even finds DVD's he thinks the residents will like. So many examples of staff going the extra mile. The carers are excellent and all staff are welcoming and friendly. A very caring environment.

Our mother was admitted with end-of-life care requirements. The nursing home filled all those duties and more. Their attention to her personal needs and her personality were marvellous. We are eternally grateful.

I have nothing but the highest praise for the manager and her amazing staff at this care home. My father spent the last 9 months of his life here and the care he received was truly exceptional. You don't come here for 5 star luxury or amazing facilities, but you would be hard-pushed to find a more

I would like to offer the highest praise to this home, its manager, nursing and care staff, domestic and caretaking, and admin. They looked after my brother very well, understanding his particularities and temperament with expertise and compassion right up to the very end. The manager was

My Mother was a resident at Chegworth Nursing Home for a number of years. She died recently.
She was looked after well. We regularly visited and she was always clean and tidy and her room well kept.
The staff were kind to my Mother and were most helpful whenever we visited.

On my visits, the residents all seem happy and well cared for. I am impressed by the number of staff that are on hand to support the residents. There are often one-to-one activities with the residents eg playing games, coloring sheets, and throwing a ball. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming
and are always happy to talk to me about the care of the resident I am visiting.

Chegworth Nursing Home is a well run and organised nursing home. My mother was a resident for over three years. She was happy there and we were happy to entrust her care to the manager and staff. I spent a lot of time at Chegworth over the years and I found that the staff truly cared for their
residents in a compassionate way. It was pleasing to see that the manager ran a very tight ship, which meant that the level of care met a very high standard. The staff are friendly, engaging and thoughtful. They will always be highly regarded in my eyes.

I really wasn't looking forward to finding a care home for my terminally ill mum as I'd heard so many scary things but when I looked into Chegworth Nursing Home's CQC report I was immediately struck by the excellent rating for end-of-life care. I went to look around and everything about the home is
fantastic. From her room, the building itself, the cleanliness and the atmosphere. The carers are all amazing and she started eating and drinking after many weeks in hospital of not eating at all. She was treated with dignity and care for her entire stay there. I couldn't have asked for more.

My mother was in a poor mental and physical state on admission to Chegworth Nursing Home from hospital. Frail confused, bedbound with two necrotic heel sores. The excellent care that she has received at Chegworth has turned this around completely. She is more like her old self lucid (most of the
time), able to sit in a chair, has an appetite and has put on a little weight. She enjoys social time in the day room and amazingly her heels have headed! We can't thank the staff enough for the wonderful care.

My mother was transferred to Chegworth from the hospital at the end of June 2022. She suffers from dementia and also had a category 3 pressure sore which developed during her stay in the hospital. Within five weeks the staff at Chegworth Nursing Home under the direction of the manager managed to
heal the pressure sore through careful and consistent nursing procedures. All the staff I have encountered are polite, helpful, professional and caring and I particularly like the way they interact with the residents. The atmosphere is very friendly and as a family, we are very satisfied with Chegworth Nursing Home.

Chegworth Nursing Home enabled my nan to pass comfortably in a nursing home environment rather than in hospital. In the ten days that my nan was a resident, all of the staff were caring and kind and treated her with great respect. The staff and manager also provided care and support for us as a
family at this difficult time. The staff displayed a firm knowledge and understanding of palliative care and I would recommend them for this purpose. We are grateful for their support.

My Mother was a resident at Chegworth Nursing Home for a number of years. She died recently.
She was looked after well. We regularly visited and she was always clean and tidy and her room well kept.
The staff were kind to my Mother and were most helpful whenever we visited.

Chegworth Nursing Home is a well run and organised nursing home. My mother was a resident for over three years. She was happy there and we were happy to entrust her care to the manager and staff. I spent a lot of time at Chegworth over the years and I found that the staff truly cared for their
residents in a compassionate way. It was pleasing to see that the manager ran a very tight ship, which meant that the level of care met a very high standard. The staff are friendly, engaging and thoughtful. They will always be highly regarded in my eyes.
