I recommend Woodstock Care Home highly for its care, understanding and professionalism ,always approachable and more like part of our family than a care home.They have all been exceptional with my Dad,Brian ,for Day care and given us the much needed break when required, which has then enabled us to
cope with every day life caring for someone with Dementia. A big thank you from us all x

This place is a real 'Home'. Just dropped dad off there for daycare today and a member of staff recognised him and gave him a big smile and a wave. Made his day! He couldn't get in there fast enough. It's normally so difficult due to his Alzheimer's and this natural gesture meant the world to Dad
and me. Thank you.

All staff have a heart of gold. The care that my mother-in-law gets at Woodstock is excellent. I'm so pleased with care and activities.

Mum and dad have been here over a year now and but they both struggle at times, they are treated with dignity and respect. The few issues we have raised as a family are always dealt with promptly.

All staff are very helpful and attentive. Where we have raised any issues these have been acted on speedily. Equally if he has needed additional medication or other issues they have notified me straight away. My dad is still settling in but I have no concerns or issues and I am pleased with the
choice of care home.

I am very pleased with the care my mother receives at Woodstock. The staff are very caring and attentive to her demanding needs and requirements. I have no concerns. Any needs I may have have always been dealt with promptly and professionally. Well done, Woodstock and thank you.

Overall, I am very pleased with the home; it provides for my husband's needs, and I know he is safe and comfortable here. I have recently noticed that the food standard is not as good as when he first came, but otherwise, no complaints. The laundry sometimes muddles his clothes, and on more than one
occasion, he has worn clothes that are not his.

My nan and granddad have been residents of Woodstock Residential Care Centre for over a year now. It is always a challenging time for the family to deal with initially but for us seeing them happy and content means a lot. We know that they are well looked after together. Thank you to all the staff
for your continued hard work.

The staff are very much aware of my mums needs and keep me up dated with any medical needs and changes. They always engage with her and offer her different activities that they feel she will enjoy. The activities team are marvellous. Many times my mum has been up dancing and signing with them and
loves dressing up. I am grateful for all they do.

If you are looking for a care home in Sittingbourne for your loved one, I recommend you pay a visit to Woodstock Care Home. It is such a happy, homely place to be. All the staff are amazing, they do their best to help and keep the residents happy. They really are lovely. The home has so much going
on. It is up to the individuals if they want to take part or not in various activities. They also have quiet areas and beautiful grounds to sit out in. The home is run by a brilliant dedicated manager. she is so very caring, thoughtful and professional ( I hope Nellsar management read this review! As your company has the most genuine Woodstock manager, she is fully committed). I must add that relatives are made very welcome and can visit when they wish.
It is well worth looking at the Woodstock Care Home videos and photos, also, write ups as there are far too many things to mention in a review.

My nan came to Woodstock for respite and we were so pleased with how quickly she settled.The staff are so caring and attentive so supportive to us as a family. My nan settled so well that as a family we decided for her to stay as a permanent resident. To see my nan so well looked after, settled,
clean and well fed is such a relief for us. We definitely made the right decision for her as she is so happy there.She absolutely loves the activities.

Homely and friendly, always great communication and looked after my granddad really well. Really kind and allow me to use the salon space to cut my granddads hair.

Unfortunately, I feel that standards have slipped a little. There seems to be an issue with the washing and often I find clothes in my mum's wardrobe that are not hers. The toilet near the dining room area the other day did smell and I feel that the home inside is looking a bit tired.

room looks a bit tired and the curtains do too. Also, her window is still wooden framed.
I think that the money we pay each month that things are getting a bit neglected.
The care staff do a wonderful job and my mum is well looked after.

My mum has been ‘working’ here for 3 years now! She is well looked after and seems happy enough, she loves a bit of banter and enjoys joining in with the activities and going on outings out. The staff are absolutely fantastic, they work so hard to make everyone feel welcome. I’m not in generally at
meal times but the one time I did pop in at tea time, Mum had sandwiches that in my opinion didn’t look very appetising and were stale! So maybe a little more attention to the food/menu. I appreciate it’s not easy feeding so many but at the same time, it’s at least got to be appealing and fresh. With regards to the laundry, I think the home is back on track as I know they were having a few problems, but as long as everything is named it makes their life easier for them, being understaffed doesn’t help. Overall though Mum is really happy there with her friends and I don’t have to worry about her as I’m kept up to speed with everything.

Mother has been a Woodstock with Dementia and is very well looked after. the home has activities to help her, and the care shown to her by the staff is excellent.
Woodstock has entertainment for the residents as well.

My dear father has been a resident for more than two years now and regards Woodstock as his home. He is treated with loving care and kindness by the wonderful staff. My family and I know that he is safe and secure. The activities are varied. I enjoy being able to take part in recent Christmas fun!
The home is always decorated in a way that reflects the season or celebration, e.g. Halloween, Valentine's and Christmas. My father particularly likes the regular church services. I am always made to feel welcome by all the staff, and I appreciate the time they spend listening to any questions or concerns that I may have, whether speaking to me in person or on the telephone.
