My brother transferred to Sutton Valence after a long period in hospital. The care he received was exemplary. The staff are so caring and patient. He required complex nursing care, due to advanced Parkinson's, which was managed with such professionalism and compassion. His dignity was preserved at all times and we felt supported as a whole family. We wish he could have had longer to benefit from the wonderful environment and care, but we are so thankful that he was able to spend his last days with you. We would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you for your kindness and support. You are a blessing!

I have found all staff to be pleasant and helpful showing courtesy and dignity and very friendly with regard to there duties, overall I could find no faults with what they do

I've been a resident in the home for over 13 years and its the best thing I have ever done. Everyone has a thought about a care home 'my life has to stop' Thats totally the opposite. The home is one BIG Happy family and its the staff that make this. We are treated with respect and encouraged to continue doing what we love. They will supoort in all ways. The Activity Team are doing some awesome activities trying to give us lots of new things to try. maybe we had thought it not possible anymore but with help from them and words, 'Just Give it ago' The Nursing and Care Team on my unit are the most supportive, professional. and helpful people ever nothing is too much trouble. Thank-You.

Facilities very good but of late is has been difficult to enter the building as I have to wait out for long to get someone to me in. Staff are very friendly and always welcoming.

My mother has received superb care and nursing at Sutton Valence for the past seven and a half years. Staff are empathic and sensitive, providing a calm and comfortable environment. I would have no hesitation in recommending this home.

Very welcoming - excellent support for visitors - coffee station - chairs. My friend says she is well looked after. She feels safe.

Since my husband has been here it's been excellent he has put some weight back on as he lost a lot in the last home. Everyone here is so welcoming and happy my husband and all of my family thinks this is a beautiful place it's clean and all of the staff are brilliant we love them all as they care so much I can't say enough nice things about them all, but thank you all.

I cannot fault the care my mother has received. All the staff have been exemplary. The recent Birthday celebrations that the home organised were wonderful and much appreciated by all the family. Excellent!

We have recently been given some terrible news in relation to my father's health. As he was no longer able to look after himself properly we were able to seek a home that could care for his needs, make him feel comfortable and also make him feel safe. The Sutton Valence Care Home had a space available which is close to us all and has totally changed my father's end of life. I am truly grateful that he is here.

Such a wonderful care home where everyone is treated as a family! My mum has been a resident at Sutton Valence for a year now as she needs nursing care, however, my dad was still residing at Barchester Herne Place Care Home, a residential home where my parents had previously lived together. However, after about 10 months of them living apart, the manager of Sutton Valence suggested that as he had rooms shortly to become available we may like to move Dad there. Both homes liaised and Sutton Valence Care Home did a wonderful job with ensuring things went as smoothly as possible and provided a lovely welcoming room along with caring and efficient staff to take care of both my parents, who are now happily reunited after 62 years of marriage.

My mum is very happy and the staff are always friendly, helpful, caring, always have time for a chat with mum and myself. She gets very nice meals. The staff have got my mum to go out on the bus for a trip out, as she normally just likes to stay in her room.

My mother has been in Barchester Sutton Valance for 5 and a half years now. The staff are outstanding, whatever position they hold within the home. Mum is very happy, which makes me contented knowing she is happy and safe.

The staff have been lovely, and I have had a nice stay. Food was good with a variety of choices. I joined in with the activities and made some new friends. Beautiful, comfortable room. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

The Barchester Sutton Valence Care Home is an outstanding care home. The staff always go above and beyond to make the residents feel comfortable and cared for. The facilities are second to none and there is always something going on to keep everyone interested. A big thank you to the unit manager for her unending work.

Mum has been at the care home for over a year and before her, my auntie was here. I have nothing but good words for the care home. Even though refurbishments have been continuing, Mum has not been bothered by it. All staff are very attentive, her nurse is amazing and the carers are great at popping into her room to see if she is ok or needs anything. Her new room is fantastic. Many thanks to all.

Thank you so much. We couldn't have asked for a more welcoming home at a very difficult time; the home is unlike any others that we have encountered. The manager truly understands people's needs and cares about everyone in the home. The staff are professional, caring and respectful - amazing people. Food is appetising and delivered at the right temperature. We are so pleased we have found such a wonderful home and one that we would recommend this home without any reservation.

The chef made my nan a special gluten-free birthday cake which absolutely made her day. The team in the dining room were so helpful and kind making her day so special. We loved dining with her to celebrate.
