The initial interviews were relaxed and comforting, left us feeling confident as a family Fairfield was the right choice for Mum. We were supported at all times during and after the move. Mum settled in very quickly and enjoys all the activities. There is always a smile on arrival.

My mother move into Fairfield recently and the care she has received has been exemplary. She has been treated with dignity and compassion.
Nothing has been too much trouble and all the staff are always happy and welcoming.
I have been to visit at different times of the day and it has always been
spotlessly clean

We have been welcomed into the home as a family, after a stressful time of both my parents being seriously ill, unfortunately losing my dad and my mum needing much more care and support than I can manage on a daily basis. All staff are kind, polite And very sensitive to your needs as a family. My
mum has settled in very well and is receiving excellent care. I can leave her with a peaceful mind that she will have all her care and social needs met. Thank you to all staff.

I feel I need to write more as can't thank them all enough for the care and support they gave me and my mum. So happy I can be my mums daughter again and not her carer. It feel like home from home there aswell. Can not thank them enough. Feel part of there family. She always has her hair done which
she always like having done which is nice. I was offered other homes but would not have taken them. As Fairfields is beautiful she joins in with the activities. I no I can't mention names but I want to thank each and everyone for all your support and care my mum has

Having to place your Dad into a care home is daunting enough. Fairfield was absolutely the best place my Dad could be. It is home from home. All staff are amazing. They dont just support my Dad, they support me and my family. They are kind and they show so much empathy. And my Dad is very happy well
cared for, we couldnt ask for more.

My dad was in for 2 weeks respite care. From the time we walked through the doors he was made to feel welcome, we were taken to his room which was a lovely pleasant welcoming room with plenty of space. The only small issue we had is he didn't have a tv in his room for a few days, but after making a
quick phone call it was quickly rectified. On a couple of occasions his food was cold but again it was sorted straight away. On the whole this is a lovely care home and all staff took great care of my dad. I most definitely would use this care home again. Thank you for taking great care of him during his stay with you.

As a family we visited Fairfield Care Home and mum was pleased to become a resident after 33 years of living alone. All the staff made mum feel special and she soon settle into a different way of life. It was after Christmas that mum became ill. The staff organised an ambulance to check her over and
doctors to monitor her recovery. It was reassuring that staff helped mum and us (the family) through a worrying time.

My mother went in to this Home in December 2024 into a respite bed (following several falls). I was really worried about my mother going in to a care home, as she has dementia and struggles socially. All of the staff at Fairfield truly are amazing, my mum settled so very quickly, and this put all
of our minds at rest, she is interacting socially with other residents and all of the staff, in such a short time, I have seen an improvement in my mother. I was told initially they were like one big family, and that is exactly what they are! All of the staff from management, carers, admin, domestic, catering and maintenance, all have smiles on their faces always willing to have a chat and update me, nothing is too much trouble. This home/staff are just simply wonderful.

Sorry I am a bit late with a Christmas at Fairfield review! I spent most of Christmas Day with my Mam at Fairfield. What a happy atmosphere it was all day. The Christmas dinner was delicious and everyone seemed very happy. All the residents were given a Christmas gift. I also had my brother and
sister in law visiting from Mallorca who came to visit Mam at teatime. I had arranged for us to have tea there which was lovely too. It was my sister-in-law's first visit to Fairfield and she was very impressed with everything and we are all glad to see Mam so happy. We were absolutely spoilt. Thank you Fairfield.

I visited my mother-in-law and found her to be happy and well cared for. She interacted well with the care staff and other residents. I had the opportunity to speak with the staff and found them to be familiar with my mother in laws specific care needs. I found the home to be warm and inviting and
her private room to be comfortable and clean.

My mother has been a resident at this care home for over 18 months, and I've consistently found the level of care and professionalism to be excellent. The staff are compassionate, attentive, and go above and beyond to ensure her needs are met. The home is clean, well-maintained, and provides a
welcoming environment. I visit regularly, and the warm, friendly atmosphere makes it a pleasure for me as well. It's reassuring to see her well looked after, and the team's dedication is truly appreciated. I highly recommend this care home for anyone looking for exceptional care and support for their loved ones.

Cannot speak highly enough of all the staff at Fairfield. They have made a very difficult event in our lives become a happier one. Not only for our mum but the family as well, guiding us with care, information, and genuine thoughtfulness. Our mum has "blossomed" again in the short time she has been
at Fairfield thanks to everyone's sincere care.

Mum went into Fairfield on Tuesday, she was immediately greeted warmly and taken for a cup of tea. The next thing I hear, she has introduced herself every Resident in the lounge area, sang some songs and trotted of with a staff member to join the singing group on the next floor. she was totally
oblivious of me and my partner and was too busy even to see her room.
This was such a weight off my shoulders as Mum has been on her own. We never discussed a care home with her, but she has totally taken to it.
The individual care and attention she gets is unbelievable, they take her to everything involving singing (as she loves singing). I have visited every day, but to be honest she doesn't need me there she is loving every minute, and I now know she is safe, well cared for and very happy! Fairfield is such a wonderful care home and I check on Mum's care and progress at any time on their portal. So pleased she is home.

Since my Husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2018, I have cared for all of his day to day needs but recently found myself needing a break to recover from surgery. Prior to visiting Fairfield I had been reluctant to go down the care route, however after meeting the staff at the home my mind was
soon put at ease.
The staff were extremely professional, caring and went out of their way to make my husband feel welcome. The home was spotlessly clean and catered for all of his needs, I would not hesitate to use their service again next time either of us need a break!

My mum was here in emergency care for nine weeks, and I can't express how much she loved it there and the care was excellent.
The staff were so lovely and kind, and if not for geography, she could have stayed there forever. She has moved to a home nearer her home patch and all going well there
too. Thank you. She lost a few vapes though, they will never be found!

I brought a family friend to visit my dad recently. Her comments afterwards were "He is in such a lovely care home. You couldn't get better". This means a lot to me as Dad's move to the home was during Covid when choosing and comparing homes was not straightforward. We are so grateful to all the
management and staff at Fairfield Care Home.

Fantastic care, very warm and friendly, and always helpful. Treat my grandma with kindness. Grandma is always well-kept, her hair washed and clean. Her room is always tidy. Her dinners are to a high standard. Grandma is very happy.

The staff are always attentive and caring. As a family we have been very concerned about Mum since being diagnosed with dementia, the management and all staff have helped us through this process. Giving reassurance and guidance when needed.
