View Full Details of Neale Court Care HomeMum has been a resident at Neale Court for just 3 years now. The staff are very attentive to all residents and have a good rapport with all visitors. The manager always listens to any concerns raised and responds to them immediately in a very professional way. The whole staff team works hard to create a happy, homely place for the residents to live.
I have had my mum in here for five years and now have my dad here too , I can only say that the care they both receive , along with the company, compassion and support, is absolutely always 100 percent , also I always feel so welcomed and supported, the whole team are amazing and I would absolutely recommend.
I am totally impressed with the dedication and care shown by the entire staff at Neale Court Care Home. From management to housekeeping, catering and activities teams, the commitment and ease by which they skilfully care for their residents in a challenging environment is remarkable. My wife settled quickly and is happy and content. On a personal note when visiting I am always greeted with a smile and cheerful hello which makes me feel part of the Neale Court family.
Activities staff have taken a nose dive since Mum first moved here Oct 23. Used to be a fun place to be, with music playing in the back ground, now its a sad place. Staff are very caring and work very hard but activities staff need sorting - more activities staff needed. Also not everyone likes crafts! my Mum needs more stimulation, so much so that I now pay for a private carer 2hrs a week to take her out. (not good considering the amount of fees paid). I am hoping her private caring does not go against her receiving her share of activity. Mum used to like going to The Ark - there used to be enough staff to take 3 or more people there, just to get away from the home, now seemingly only 1 person can be taken, only 1 member of staff available to do it. The activity sheet states The Ark trip on Friday which portrays there is a trip of a few people - I find out today that its only for 1 person!!? Is the sheet just a paper exercise? disappointing for Mum. More staff needed please.
We as a family are pleased with the care my mother is being given at Neale Court. We feel that the service and care is 1st class. My only negative is that a few of the residents need more care than others. I myself have felt a little vulnerable at the few residents wandering around the lounge, a little pack like., or wandering round with cutlery in hand, or having their belongings moved etc. Perhaps a suggestion would be that if some residents that need the extra care they could use the 1st floor lounge and bedroom facilities.
My mother is receiving the best care possible. I have no concerns about her welfare . She is happy and content and we are kept updated with her health and wellbeing. We have no concerns with her being there.
Since mum has moved into Neale Court, its like she has had a new lease of life. She loves engaging in the activities but also sitting in the lovely garden and reading. She is cared for, her room is clean and tidy with her own pictures on the walls. She is treated with compassion and respect. The food she assures us is fabulous and they take into account her dietary needs. We know, unfortunately that not all homes are like this, and are very grateful to the staff.
I cannot fault Neale Court. My dad moved there from another care home and the difference was immediately apparent. The resident's lounge is large and welcoming, resembling the lobby of a nice hotel. His en-suite bedroom was spacious and modern. However, it is the staff that makes this home what it is. Nothing was too much trouble and they genuinely care about the residents. My Dad was always treated with dignity and respect. His needs changed dramatically in the short time he was there and they adapted with ease. They were equally caring towards us, his family, allowing us to stay with him in his final days. I must also say that the food was always delicious and nicely presented. I would not hesitate to recommend Neale Court.
Very pleased with the overall care my father is receiving. Staff and management are all very competent in their jobs.
Ever since my dad moved to Neale Court it has felt like home from home. Dad has a lovely room and the communal areas are comfortable and inviting. I'm grateful for the care that Dad is given and I enjoy visiting him in his home at Neale Court.
Having experienced other care homes, I cannot speak highly enough of the management and her team. Dignity and care paramount and each member of staff goes out of their way to deliver fantastic care!
We were reluctant to let Mum go into a home, although the time was right. We looked around several and were most impressed with Neale Court. It was not just the surroundings (which are beautiful) but the warmth of all the staff and the general feel of the home. The staff have not had an easy run with Mum, she can be somewhat challenging. The staff have been great with her. From the manager, carers, kitchen, cleaners and activity ladies (sorry if I missed anyone) have all been fantastic. I would highly recommend it.
My wife moved from another care home, it was like moving from a bad B&B to a five-star hotel. It felt like we had won the lottery. I can't fault the home in any way. Absolutely excellent.
Very impressive standard of care and facilities. Staff pleasant, friendly and helpful. The home has a pleasant feel, and the gardens are nicely kept, and a good place to sit in the warmer months. The catering is also of a high standard.
My very frail Mum came into Neale Court in January. The care and consideration given to Mum have been amazing so far. The food is lovely, Mum gets to choose if she wants a cooked breakfast and loves a bacon sandwich! All the staff I have met so far have been cheerful and understanding of Mum's needs. The room is very bright, airy and kept clean but homely. I honestly can't put into words how happy I am Mum is safe, warm, clean and well cared for.
The activities have been great fun, interesting and varied. Animal visits, live music and games. The room has been cleaned. Dad seems happy. Few issues of loss of glasses and personal clothes but this seems standard by all accounts.
Absolutely fantastic home. The residents are so well looked after by fabulous staff in a beautiful setting. There are always activities going on and families are welcome to join in. The actual home is beautifully furnished, it's like a 5-star hotel.
The care home team provided excellent care for our aunt. Great personalised care for all residents. Our first care home experience was less impressive. Neale Court provides care at a good quality level which we would recommend to any family.
I would recommend Neale Court to anyone who needs the care and support. It is a wonderful home, with very friendly staff. Beautiful sitting room, spacious bedrooms and an assortment of healthy meals. My aunt has settled in nicely and is being cared for and encouraged to meet other residents. If I had to go into a care home I would choose this one.
I moved my wife from another care home four months ago. To me, it was like winning the lottery. It was as if I had moved her from a tatty B&B into a five-star hotel. The home is clean, modern and welcoming. The staff are fantastic and always go the extra mile. The food is first class with plenty of choices. I really can't praise it highly enough.
