View Full Details of Silk CourtMy dad has been at the home for a few weeks and I am very happy with the care he is receiving. the staff are very friendly and helpful, my dad likes everyone at the home and is well cared for. There are a lot of activities on offer if he feels up to taking part. The home has kept me informed of any issues with my dad's health and if he has any falls. I was very worried about my dad before he moved in to the home but now with him there I have peace of mind that he is safe.
When my mum first went into Silk Court I was very happy with how my mum was treated. She was there for over 5 years. But as mums dementia got worse and she needed a bit more care that changed they said that because she need 2 staff to do her personal care they weren't able to keep her there, she wasn't the only one that need 2 carers so, I was told to find somewhere else for her to go. I was really upset about this as I was told that mum could stay there until the end of her life. When it gets tough they want you out.
Safe and friendly staff and guests Attentive staff and activities were great ! I am happy my mother is looked after and in the best place and fit for her age and condition. Special shout out to Josef at the door for his courtesy and professionalism
My mum came to silk court end of February this year - it was a really hard decision to make as she had lived with us for 5 years - but I can honestly say it has been the best decision we have made. Mum is so well cared for, seems happy and content. The staff are wonderful people and go out of their way to make the residents comfortable in their surroundings. We have monthly reviews and any issues are addressed immediately This is a lovely place to be
Staff are so kind and helpful - from the very beginning of the process. They have helped to settle my mother in. Although it is very early days, I am very happy with Silk Court. All staff from admin and reception to team leaders have all been kind and supportive.
Staff I have met and spoken with are caring, hard-working, and compassionate. This was the first care home I found for my mum where I felt they would take genuinely good care of her, as several of the staff are clearly experienced with long careers in care behind them already. The building is well-staffed, the protected meal times are a sensible idea, and the rooms seem to be in good condition. All of my questions and requests are being met and resolved, and the management have been very accommodating.
I just moved my mum into Silk Court this month. The process whilst stressful for the family was made easier by the kindness and organization of the Silk Court staff. Mum has been there a few weeks and seems to be settling in really well.
My family and I are incredibly grateful for the care and kindness shown at Silk Court Bethnal Green. One of our close relatives has been living here for some time, and it gives us great peace of mind to know they are safe, happy, and truly cared for. The staff are always attentive, patient, and compassionate - they treat residents with genuine respect and warmth. It's clear they take the time to build real relationships and go the extra mile to make everyone feel comfortable and supported. The home itself is always clean, bright, and welcoming. There's a lovely, calm atmosphere throughout, and we can see that every effort is made to create a positive environment. Knowing our loved one with dementia is in such good hands means the world to us. We couldn't be more grateful.
Silk Court has provided consistently great care to my Mum who have been there for over 2 years. They are closely focused on her changing support needs and work hard to get the right things in place. The communication is great - I'm always kept updated and feel very welcome to ask for more information. The staff are warm and welcoming and my Mum enjoys being at Silk Court and is clearly happy there.
My experince is positive. Teh staff are friednlu and the reisdnet sseem content. There is a peaceful atmosphere and I have been visiting for a few years and always found it calm. The residents are well cared for by the staff and I would be happy in recommending Silk Court to anyone seeking a suitable care home for a friendly member or friend. I wish all the residents and staff peace and joy.
Since my mother moved into Silk Court in January 2025, I have been very happy with the standard of care provided to her. The place is clean and tidy, spacious and warm. The staff communicate well and let me know if there are any concerns. Mum had two (brief) A&E admissions, which they instigated as per their policies. My Mum seems to have settled in well and this is so important to me for peace of mind. On check out they also ask if you would feel comfortable raising any safeguarding issues, which is an essential question. I am really happy to have found Silk Court, it was the last place of 12 that I looked at. I was honestly beginning to give up hope. But, as soon as I went to visit I knew it was the right place due to the many positive reviews that I read. Those reviews have proved accurate.
The staff at Silk Court have been incredibly helpful in what is a stressful time for us as a family. Every question has been answered thoroughly and nothing appears too much trouble. My father-in-law has just arrived and we feel very lucky to have found a place at Silk Court.
The care my mum has received has been excellent. The staff are so caring and thoughtful. I am sad that my mum has to leave. If it were my choice she would have stayed at Silk Court. I cannot thank the staff enough for all they have done for her. She flourished whilst there.
My wife is now in the last stages of Alzheimer's disease and needs a lot of attention. But the staff at Silk Court have been amazingly caring towards my wife, treating her with kindness and patience. I am always kept very well informed of my wife's care. I visit the home often and at various times but I am always made welcome and feel I am never in the way. I don't know about activities as my poor wife is now no longer able to participate.
My brother has recently been a resident at Silk Court and so far can only give praise for the staff's care and dedicated support given to my brother. The staff in my opinion are kind, patient and very understanding to both the residents and the family. They have taken the time and effort to answer any questions we have had. Also, there are high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. They are well organised with regular meal times, menus and routines. The outdoor space is secure but well-kept and has a cheerful outlook. We attended a BBQ in summer with excellent food, singers and fun. My brother has settled and feels very comfortable and content. Thank you Silk Court.
Wonderful caring and helpful staff at all levels.
Absolutely lovely staff, caring.
My Mum has been a resident at Silk Court for 9 months. Since being there my Mum has significantly improved. The staff treat my Mum with kindness and respect. My Mum is always clean and well-dressed when I visit. Her room and communal areas are always clean and maintained well. Mum has never been so well-fed! The variety of food and drink is good, as are the portion sizes. There's always plenty of cake! Mum and Dad recently celebrated their 60th (Diamond) Wedding Anniversary. This coincided with Silk Court's weekly church service. After the service, the local vicar (by prior arrangement) blessed my Mum and Dad's marriage. Silk Court staff went above and beyond to decorate the room, and provide accompanying music and a three-course meal. Even down to providing a veil and flowers for my Mum to 'walk down the aisle'. They thought of everything to replicate my Mum and Dad's Wedding and made Mum and Dad's day so special! I will be forever grateful to everyone involved.
Since my mother entered the care home, over 2 years ago. I have always found every member of staff to be exemplary. Without exception, the staff are kind, courteous and always caring. I would have no hesitation in recommending Silk Court to anyone.
I am so pleased my brother was offered a room at Silk Court. All the staff, nurses and carers do an amazing job. Since August 24 when my brother was admitted he has come on leaps and bounds. He lived alone, went wandering around London and we became very concerned for his welfare. But now he's made lots of friends and seems to be enjoying his time at the care home. I would like to thank the staff for all their time and kindness in taking care of my brother.
