Over this past year there has been a lot of new staff. They are all so helpful and properly care for my mum and other residents. There are lots of clubs and entertainment and my mum is much happier than she as been in the past.

Catherine's medical and physical care are absolutely wonderful. I am reassured Catherine is in good hands because the staff work very well and make sure the GP and Doctors have been upstairs. Staff are all lovely, and the food is a huge amount of proper nutrients.

We did not receive the standard of car that we expected from this care home. Raised concerns which were ignored resulting in my gran being hospitalised for 5 weeks and still currently in hospital. We raised a complaint and were told we would hear back which we are still awaiting word back from
nearly 5 weeks later. We have been told it has now been passed to regional managers.

My mother, who has dementia has been in Quayside since December 2024 initially as a placement and then permanent from April 2025. On the many times I have visited at random times I can only praise all staff that I have spoken to and seen attending others in Jupiter house on how attentive they are
with all residents. I have attended when there is some form of entertainment or activity on the go and all staff get involved when possible ensuring everyone is included. If there has been an incident or concern then I have been made aware at that time. This was the right choice for my mother's needs. Can't thank all members of staff enough.

My Mum has been a resident at Quayside for 3 weeks now and I am so impressed with the quality of care being provided to my Mum. The staff ar caring and have been very helpful whether it was in person or over the telephone they have taken the time to answer any questions. Whilst visiting my Mum it
was apparent the staff care dearly for the residents. We visited at various times of the day and upto three times in a day. Totally happy with this care home and would recommend it highly for your loved ones. Thank you Quayside

My wife spent 550 days in your home with severe physical and cognitive difficulties which required 24/7 care. She was confined to bed and was unable to perform her basic needs. Above all she required tender loving care and that was what she was always given. Great attention was given to her personal
hygiene and clothing. Throughout her entire stay I never once thought of making a complaint of any sort. I will always be happy to recommend your home.

My mother died two days ago and she was a resident there for about 18 months.
She was well looked after by the carers and nurses and in fact by all the staff.
I recommend the home 100% without any problem.
She was treated with respect dignity by everyone.
Its a huge step to put any member of a
family into full time care but quayside will take away any fears of this, they will look after the family member like they were there own family. I would not hesitate or recommend this home..
I was with my mum when she died at quayside and it was very peaceful and so comforting to know that even after she passed on, this was completed and done with so much peace and love afterwards.. Thankyou to all the staff, nurses, carers, laundry staff, cleaners, maintenance staff, I knew them all my name as I was up there 6 days a week.. Can't fault anyone.. Thankyou so much for all your love and respect you gave me and mum daily. Xx

Although there is an outside area with access from doors in the communal area, residents are never allowed out there (it is fenced and secure). This means that the residents get very little opportunity for fresh air and sunlight and spend most of their time between the communal area and their rooms.
Activities for the residents are limited. There is a shed that they sometimes get taken to if the weather is nice where they can sit outside but this isn't often. The room is satisfactory but not great (drawers are wonky and don't open and close properly etc).
The staff are great. Very friendly and patient with the residents.

My dad was admitted to Quayside in November 2022 and I admit I was nervous as I wasn't sure about handing over care to strangers. However, the care he has received has been great and the staff have been wonderful with him as he can be grumpy, to say the least. I am always called if anything is wrong
with Dad and what is being done to help him. I could not have asked for better care for him and the staff made it easy for me to relax knowing he is in a safe place.

Since my dad moved to Quayside he has come on brilliantly, he loved being in the day room with as he says (his mates) which I love as it means he feels safe. His health has improved and he has gained some of the weight which he lost in the hospital. The care he receives is first class the staff are
all so friendly he likes them all. If he needs anything they will get it for him. The staff are very good to him and they are good to us as a family they listen to us if we make a request for my dad they do it right away no waiting. It makes me so happy to know he is so well looked after and he is happy there too. Thank you for all the TLC he receives from every member of staff.

The care home is amazing. The staff and management are very friendly and approachable. My auntie has settled in here very well and feels very at home. The staff all go above and beyond, and I could not be any happier. I have spoken to the manager on a few instances and gave me all the reassurance I
needed when my auntie came in as I was very apprehensive only because I had never done this before.
Quayside is an excellent home.
