The staff are very helpful and caring. I can only comment on the time I spend visiting. Barbara's mood changes but she is generally relaxed so I assume she is well looked after.

Really pleased with the care Mum is receiving. The staff are very attentive, caring and reassuring. She has settled in well over the past few months, and it's a real relief for the family to know she is being cared for so well. Can't think of a better place for Mum to be at this stage in her life. Thank you to all the Woodend staff.

What a wonderful team at Woodend. Everyone is so welcoming and the initial visit was so empathetic. Each stage was dealt with gently and scaffolded with nurture. It's very difficult time for the family and I feel the whole team understands this from cleaners, cooks, carers, nurses and office staff. l dare not name anyone for special recommendation for fear of leaving anyone out. An opportunity to say thank you for caring for our dad it feels like home.

The staff and management have made a very stressful time a whole lot easier to deal with. The home is clean and welcoming. The staff seem happy and friendly in their work. The rooms are comfortable. There are lovely communal areas within the home, also a good garden area. Seems to be a strong teamwork ethic running through the home. I am sure mum is safe in this home.

My mother is clearly loved and cared for by the staff. I am pleased with her care.

My wife became a resident when we could no longer care for her safely at home because of her memory and cognitive loss. I am delighted with the care and attention she is now receiving here. All her requirements are dealt with by the staff in a polite and effective manner. This is particularly important at meal times when my wife needs help with eating and drinking. There are always an adequate number of staff to look after her safely. Good leadership is provided by senior staff. Well done!

This is my second experience of visiting a resident. My first was supporting my best friend from June to August 2024, who came in for palliative care and died here. I saw many of the same staff and residents as last year - it was easy to access the building, and there was a friendly atmosphere. Everything is clean and welcoming. There is sometimes quite a lot of noise from some residents, which can be troublesome for those who are trying to rest.

I have found all the staff very kind and attentive.The activities they do in the day are all inclusive and fun to do.The food on offer caters for all residents and nothing is too much trouble if you fancy something different.

Mums care is second to none. She has settled in well, her main carers are very nice ladies and give her lots of attention depending who is on reception. The welcome with a hello and smiles would not go amiss ( not everybody).

We are so happy to have found Woodend. Mum is thriving in this wonderful home. It is always so calm and fresh. The staff members are wonderful and so show real care and friendship to mum.

My uncle has just moved in and requires full time nursing. I am delighted he managed to see a room. The home is fantastic - very welcoming and the staff are professional and very kind. They have made the move from hospital stress-free. If my uncle could communicate, I know, like me, he would be delighted and grateful to have found such a lovely new home. Thank you.

On aproaching the Carehome i noticed how well kept the grounds were as was the property Carehome. A good secure entry system for visiting friends and family. Good private car parking. A nice polite warm welcome on entering the Carehome. Guidence given by staff to visiting friends. Very well kept inside the Carehome. You can always tell a very good service, No odours throughout my passage of the Carehome to my friends private room. I am very well impressed with Woodend Carehome. Thankyou for helping and looking after my friend.

My mum moved to Woodend a couple of weeks ago. She has settled well has been much more active and busy with the activities provided at Woodend. She appears more positive since her move there

I visited for the alzheimers afternoon tea, she was my neighbour- she is very happy here. We sat in the lovely garden. She loves being outside.

Woodend Care Home is a very clean and nice home. In a lovely peaceful location and nice gardens. The staff are very caring and can't do enough for the residents. I would say don't hesitate in bringing your loved one to this home.

This is my first experience of a carehome facility and although it took time getting used to how the facility operates, it took my breath away at the patience and kindness of the whole staff/team. Very reassuring to know my dad is being cared for.

Woodend Care Home has a lovely appearance from the outside, well taken care of. Inside is very welcoming and clean, painted well, and corridors are clean and maintained. Bedrooms look cosy too and staff are all very pleasant.

My mum is a resident in Woodend Care Home, she receives the best of care there. My dad was also a resident there until his recent death. He also received the best care. He was treated with dignity at the end of his life and his family were also supported by the staff.

I have lived in Woodend Care Home since November 2021 and my experience of it is very favourable. The home has excellent accommodation and facilities. It provides activities for residents such as fundraising fashion show which was very successful. The real strength of the care home is its very caring staff. This is true of the staff who work in administration, the provision of meals and the provision of personal care for residents. The warm and friendly atmosphere is apparent to visitors to the home also.
