I am very happy with the care that is given to my husband.
He is well looked after at Ferfoot Care Home.
The staff are very caring and understanding.
The food is excellent and freshly prepared by the chef.

Mum and Dad came to Ferfoot together sometime ago from Kent. I spent a while previously going to various places that would be able to meet their needs. Ferfoot was in my mind the most genuine, warm and welcoming. Sadly dad passed away last year and as he became more frail the staff were lovely,
respectful and kind. He felt very comfortable and cared for and loved the food especially the cake and puddings. There was always someone nearby keeping an eye on him and he didn't pass away alone. The care staff were very kind and understanding to mum supporting her through this process. In the last year they have been so patient with her as she has found life sometimes frustrating. They come across different and sometimes difficult situations but deal with it all with a smile, encouragement and professionalism. I have no doubt I chose the right place for my parents.
The senior staff are also very approachable, friendly and keep me up to date with any changes.

My mum needed emergency care to provide rest bite for my dad. Once admitted it became clear that mum 's needs were much more serious than we had realised. With support and care from Ferfoot we have been able to understand mum's requirements and more able to make the decision for longer term care.
The staff at Ferfoot have made us aware of mum's day to day needs and have allowed me to email, call and visit as often as I feel necessary to alleviate some of my worries. The manager has been very giving of her time and returned my many emails and calls to date.
I feel that mum is settling in well, and that we are adjusting as a family better than I'd hoped, this is in no small part due to the kindness of the staff at Ferfoot and how caring and compassionate they are.

The staff at Ferfoot Care Home are all very friendly and professional. The carers perform their duties without question and always with smiley faces. The staff keep me up to date with the care plan. When visiting they are always ready to have a friendly chat. The premises are kept clean and very
homely looking. I cannot fault the care and attention Robin is getting.

My cousin stayed in Ferfoot for several weeks on 'end of life' care. Very frail and suffering from dementia, he was vulnerable. Ferfoot staff treated him with respect, care and dignity, and although very confused, he was content and appreciative of all their efforts. He loved the food and ate well.
Visitors to him were always made welcome by the lovely, smiley, friendly staff. My family are & always will be extremely grateful to Ferfoot.

The management and staff at Ferfoot continue to give my wife professional and sensitive care in her room in which she is confined to bed.
They are all cheerful and willing to help when I visit her each day and have made improvements to her care to make her more comfortable and minimise bed-sores.
The food at Ferfoot is of above average standard, with plenty of variety and imaginative presentation. Overall, a well run and friendly care home. My thanks to all of you for looking after her so well.

I would recommend Ferfoot Care Home to everyone. They provide a wonderful family type living situation. They cater for all needs and deliver a fabulous service to residents & visitors.

Ferfoot has been fantastic for my mother-in-law. Very supportive in getting her settled in, trying various different ways to make the transition in to care easier for us all. MIL has dementia, with all the challenges that presents, alongside various other health issues but after a while residing in
the care home some of those health issues have definitely improved. Very happy with Ferfoot, we know she is safe & cared for.

My sister moved to ferfoot in August as she required more nursing care. From the minute she moved in she has had wonderful care and understanding from all the staff. Thank you for looking after her so well .

We recently moved both our parents into Ferfoot after a bad experience at another Chippenham care home. So far, we have found the care to be of a higher standard, with more staff and a better quality of food. Our parents are receiving more attention, all in all we feel more comfortable with the
situation.

Putting Mum into a Care home after caring for her myself, was one of the hardest things emotionally and mentally I have ever done. It was incredibly hard to let my Mum be cared for in a different environment.
I struggled badly for the first couple of weeks but soon realised what a wonderful care
home Ferfoot is. Mum has a lovely room, but much more important than a lovely room are the people that work at Ferfoot, they are the most caring, empathetic people they cannot do enough for my Mum, who is thriving at Ferfoot. There are lovely Gardens, lots of entertainment happening and the Food is excellent. Thank you to all the staff for being so professional, kind and lovely to my Mum.

Myself and my father in law are very happy so far with my mother in laws care. The staff are extremely friendly and can not do enough for us.
We have had alot of hurdles due to my mother in laws health and the staff especially the management have sorted so much out for us.
Communication has been
constant which is also reassuring and we are always informed of any changes or problems that may arise.

My mum has had excellent care at Ferfoot, all staff and management go beyond with their care and compassion! The care home environment is cosy and warm and a very high standard of cleanliness, my mum has been in Ferfoot for over two years and has been very happy there and all visitors are made very
welcome and I have always been kept up to date with any concerns the staff may have.

Since our godmother moved into Ferfoot we have seen an enormous improvement in her appearance, well-being and willingness to interact. She came into residential care as an emergency admission and has settled better than we could have hoped. She agrees the staff are wonderful and tells us she is
happy and well looked after.

I have looked after mum for over a decade, so it was hard for me to hand her care over to someone else. However, I have been delighted with the standard of care mum is receiving. The Manager and Deputy Manager have listened/worked with me and done everything they can to help mum settle in and be as
comfortable as possible. Nothing seems too much trouble and the care team staff have been really lovely with mum.

As a family, we visited two care homes but Ferfootb was by far superior. We were made very welcome and the Manager explained everything about the home, giving us a guided tour. My mother's room was located on the first floor, it was very comfortable, clean and well-presented. The Manager and staff
could not be more accommodating, they go over and above to ensure the residents are well looked after with a very caring approach. The residents can take part in the many activities the care home provides, and they encourage them to participate, helping them to settle and make friends as the interaction is vital to their welfare and well-being. The food provided is of a high standard and they try to accommodate each resident's needs and requirements. My mother is now on the ground floor which so far appears to be helping her settle. The lounge areas are well presented with a homely feel, clean and tidy everywhere. Ferfoot is an excellent choice and we would thoroughly recommend it. Thank you.

From the moment we were walked in to take a look at Ferfoot, to decide if we wanted my mother-in-law to move there, we knew. We knew she had her forever home. After two previous placements, finding her, her forever home, was incredibly important and it had to be 100% in every aspect. The manager and
her team have been open, honest, and welcoming and we have total confidence in her and them.
My mother-in-law has a beautiful bedroom, bright, spacious lounges to relax in, a restaurant-standard dining experience to enjoy every day, a range of activities to participate in. Stunning gardens, full of fragrant flowers to walk in, whats not to love. As a care home manager and a daughter in law, I would not hesitate to recommend Ferfoot. Seeing the peace it's bought to my husband and sister in law, knowing their mum is safe and well cared for is priceless.

Very friendly, professional and companionate staff throughout. Nothing is too much when asked and they are always thinking of ways to improve the care given on a 1-1 basis. The home is very clean, well furnished and maintained. I'd recommend Ferfoot if ever asked and would happily give my reasons
why.

At very short notice my Godmother attended Ferfoot, the staff there have been so supportive and helpful, they are amazing! Nothing seems too much trouble for them, when I visit they all take time to speak to us and let us know how my Godmother is getting on and the conversations they have had with
her. The facilities are excellent as well, I have been shown around the newly renovated areas and everywhere is clean and tidy. We are really impressed, not having had much contact with care homes I didn't know what to expect, but Ferfoot has put my mind at ease as I can see my Godmother is getting the best care. The sort of care I would like when I need it. A big thank you to you all.

My mother has been in respite care at Ferfoot Care Home for the last four weeks. this is the first time we have used a care home. From the moment we arrived in the car park, all staff have been caring, human and attentive. The staff understand the needs of my mother and the family, they think of
everything. We have viewed care homes closer to us but they are not a patch on the lovely family-orientated environment. The manager is extremely professional and clearly puts family and residents first, as my wife says the manager is really 'on it'.
