My cousin was a resident at Oxton Grange for many years. The care was excellent throughout her time there, right up to her recent death at the age of 96. She considered OG to be her home and had a good rapport with all the staff, who respected her and made her life enjoyable. It was a joy to see her
so happy and it was comforting that she ended her days amongst her "family" at Oxton Grange.
Her family would recommend Oxton Grange to any prospective families looking for a place for their loved one.

From the first day mum arrived at Oxton Grange I knew immediately it was going to be the right place for her. She was made welcome by the extra-ordinarily briliant staff, but not just her, so was I. I was clearly a little anxious, a member of staff noticed & as I left, gave me a hug & told me they
weren't just there for residents but for relatives too. Believe me - these little things mean such a lot. I have no words to express how grateful I am to all the staff & I hope they realise how brilliant they are.

My mother was a resident at Oxton Grange Care Home, Wirral from June 2022 until December 2024.
Right from the start I knew I had chosen the best care home! The atmosphere when walking through the door to look around, was warm and welcoming.
The whole Oxton Grange team, no matter what their role,
all played their part in providing first class attention and consideration.
But it was the love, compassion and dedicated care shown to my mum at the end of her life that really blew me away. It was quite exceptional.
In addition, at that extremely difficult family time, the support given to me personally, and to my elderly father, was truly wonderful. I was humbled by their genuine kindness.

We were lucky enough to be invited to the practice garden party at Oxton Grange in readiness for the home fully reopening, hopefully, at the end of June. What a lovely afternoon it was. Admittedly we were blessed with the weather, but the event was so well organised. Each family was in their own
social bubble, so all felt very safe. The staff are just so caring and attentive to both residents and their families. It was a lovely afternoon. So looking forward to the full reopening. Thank you to the manager and team for such a wonderful job.

My mother has been in Oxton Grange for 18-months and is being very well cared for. Staff have tried very hard to keep residents and their families in touch during the lockdown period from March 2020. We have had Zoom calls, pod visits, garden and house visits and yesterday a garden party with live
music, drinks and food. It was wonderful.

Just spent a wonderful afternoon in the garden at Oxton Grange with entertainment, ice cream, food and summer cocktails! Lovely to see residents dancing, singing and waving along to the live musicians. You could see the joy on everyone's faces to be back to a relaxed gathering. Great, as always, to
see the staff no matter their role chatting with residents. Thank you.

After looking around many care homes to try and find one suitable for my parents, I was pleased and relieved to find Oxton Grange. My mum has lived a happy and fulfilled life here for the last five years, and my dad enjoyed three happy years here.
The home is happy, welcoming and well lead,
there is warmth and kindness as well as professionalism about the staff who always treat our loved ones with the dignity and respect they deserve. The home has its own minibus, and the activity coordinator, who is at the top of his game, organises fabulous and interesting days out for the residents, and the residents family can also come along. There is a regular timetable of stimulating, interesting and fun activities each day, and there is always a reason for a party.
The home has a shop from which the residents can buy their own toiletries and help to run, the residents are encouraged to have their role to play according to their ability.

I moved in 10 days ago now and have settled well. Everyone is so kind and caring. The food is 10 out of 10 and the cook is very funny, he always makes me laugh. The care staff are kind and helpful, nothing too much trouble. I'm so glad I moved here.

This has been a challenging year for all care homes in the light of Covid but Oxton Grange have done everything they can to not only protect our loved ones but have truly been there to provide the warmth, love and affection for the residents whilst family haven't been able to visit indoors.
Oxton
Grange normally have visits from the local nurseries, church groups, singers etc and obviously, that hasn't been able to happen but all the staff including the cleaners and kitchen team have stepped up to provide fun and entertainment. Zoom and Skype calls to family and friends have been a lifeline and now a wonderful visitor pod that's warm and welcoming.
So thanks to every single member of the team at Oxton Grange. The home is so clean and the food varied and nutritious. So missing the cakes!
Whenever I've spoken to outside medical people such as mum's doctor/optician/nurse, they always comment on the standard of the home and its caring atmosphere.

I was at a party celebrating a new "corner" at Oxton Grange. The buffet would have graced any top hotel. The atmosphere was just brilliant. The staff are all as kind, considerate and helpful with the residents. I have been going regularly for the last 3 months to visit my friend and have never seen
or heard anything that I would question. All staff, from cleaners, laundry etc to management show the same care, respect and attitude to the residents. Laughter is so evident frequently. Well done Oxton Grange.
