My mother was previously in a residential home in Suffolk, over 100 miles away from us. My wife and I spent three months researching and visiting care homes closer to home, seeing around twelve in total. Prince Michael of Kent Court was one of the first we visited and it always stayed with us
because of how clean, calm and well-run it felt. Its multi-wing layout is quite unique and, for us, an essential feature.
It was only after my mother moved in that we fully appreciated how exceptional the care is. Everyone - from cleaners and laundry staff to the housekeeper - takes time to speak to her and make her feel at home. The care leads and front desk staff are always helpful and happy to pass on messages or put us through to her. The carers are outstanding: my mum is exceptionally well looked after, always clean, well dressed and very well fed. It has been a huge relief to know she is safe, comfortable and genuinely cared for. Thank you!

My Godmother, Hilary, came to Prince Michael of Kent Court following a big operation. She lives on her own so we wanted her to be cared for during her recovery. We would like to thank you all again for taking such good care of Hilary. Her consultant was amazed at her recovery following her
operation and I believe that it was down to the care she received from yourselves, where she was able to relax and just recover. Whilst she loves her independence and being back at home, I know that she had a wonderful time with you and misses you all. She was looked after so well and everyone took time to talk with her and really get to know her which I know she really appreciated. We know how wonderful the home is as my Mother in Law is also with you and so incredibly well looked after and cared for. Thank you so much!

The moment I entered Prince Michael of Kent Court, I felt I wasn't in a care home. I would liken it more to a warm and welcoming cosy rural hotel. How they've created such a family feeling atmosphere I don't know exactly but it feels like a "home" to me, not a facility. Perhaps partly,
it's the demeanour of all the sincerely kind welcoming people that work there or the cat Mabel or the dog Alfie, that comfortably roam the beautifully lit spacious halls for the residents and visitors to pet. There are no weird smells anywhere. No joke! I have visited relatives within many care homes in my life and all of them had a certain smell. This one, does not and I believe that is testament to the level of care they provide their clients. To me, it's how they care for my lovely mother. I dreaded her having to move into a care home but since being there she's settled in wonderfully, she seems happier than before and always dressed in nice clean clothes, and she loves the food!

Living on the other side of the world, we are so happy with the entire PMOK team. Everyone is so approachable, helpful, professional and incredibly supportive of my mother, who's dementia has progressed faster than we could have imagined. We have complete peace of mind knowing that our Mum is in
amazing hands, everyone from the housekeepers, careers and the adminsistration / management team are all in sync and 100% focused on my mother and all other residents. The events calendar is very well themed for key dates and they balance and structure wonderful activities across the month which are very inclusive. I truly can't speak highly enough of our expereince from the moment you walk through the door you realise its the people working at PMOK and their passion, caring nature, dedication and patience that makes this care home a very special place.

My mum has been a resident at Prince Michael of Kent Court for nearly 2 years. She is relaxed and happy there and has been right from the very first day. She has a reputation in the home for being a 'bit of a ''dancing queen' as she absolutely can't stop herself from dancing whenever she hears
music. My mum is loving life again since being there! She enjoys all the various activities on offer and is usually first in line to participate in everything. It's so lovely to see her enjoying life again. I cannot leave a review without mentioning the amazing staff that work at the home. They are so lovely and treat the residents with such care and respect. They know each resident individually and tailor their support accordingly. I really couldn't ask for anything more. I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful home for my mum to live in. I am relaxed in knowing how well she is cared for there and how happy she is.

Mum has lived at the care home for just over 18months as a dementia patient, the home does an excellent job of looking after her, keeping her clean and entertained, her room is perfect, the staff interact well with all the patients and are friendly to visitors, the individual wings have everything
the guests need, and the central communal area is perfect for entertainment and special events.

I visited my Dad recently and was so impressed by all the staff in his home. They are all kind and respectful to the residents.
The activities are fun, I joined in on one of their musical quizzes, again the staff were so personable and interacted with all the residents, everyone seemed to be
having a good time.
It is lovely knowing my Dad is safe and treated with respect.

My parents have resided in other care homes in Suffolk. When we moved mum to Prince Michael of Kent care home after Dad died we were naturally apprehensive but there was no need. It is an excellent facility with excellent, caring, thoughtful staff from the manager, the team leaders, the staff, the
kitchen, right through to front of house. She could not have been in a better setting. She was content to the end. I cannot thank all of them enough for being there for her in her last months alone without Dad.

My father needed to move care home as his old home could no longer cope with his needs. After visiting several other care homes Prince Michael of Kent was our first choice for him.
The home has great facilities (it was refreshing when we first walked in when compared to other homes). We have also
found the staff to be friendly and supportive.
The most important aspect of Dad's care is his mental well being. The staff have worked hard to help Dad settle in and have been proactive in helping to manage his dementia. I very much feel that this is a care home that works hard as a supporting advocate for residents when dealing with third parties. We are very grateful for this support.
I would highly recommend the Home.
