My dad moved into Greatwood House on the 4/2/25. He sadly passed away there on the 17/7/25 a few days after his 90th Birthday. He was well cared for, any concerns were communicated to me straight away. The facilities are great, as is the entertainment programme. When he began to decline rapidly, the staff were very attentive and caring to me and my dad. He was treated with dignity and care during his last few days. He passed away peacefully with us around him and his favorite music playing.

The first thing that struck me was the cleanliness and the modern furniture, very impressed, then greeted by the office staff like old friends. I have also sampled the food, like being at a restaurant.

The home has provided mum with a safe and generally happy environment. The level of care mum requires could not be provided in her own home or that of family members and the staff and facilities provided at Greatwood House have given peace of mind to mum relatives. The staff demonstrate patience, caring and good humour in sometimes difficult circumstances. They are a credit to themselves and Greatwood House.

During my mothers respite stay at Greatwood her care from the home was excellent in every way. My mother can be quite demanding at times but the staff handle her ery well and made her feel comfortable at all times. She is now permanently staying at the home after careful consideration with myself and family. We feel that she will be in a safe environment and will be looked after at all times. Which gives myself peace of mind whilst I am at work. I will always recommend Greatwood to all my family and friends.

The staff at Greatwood House are fantastic. I can't name them all but I wouldn't know what I would have done without the support of them all. All the day staff here go above and beyond, not only with residents but also with families. I'm so happy my mum has a place in Greatwood. I'm just sorry I can't name all the staff because they deserve a medal for what they do.

Mum is settled now having been here six years almost. The staff are excellent and she is well looked after.

My brother has learning difficulties and has been at Greatwood House for almost 12 months, in that time he has settled in well. The staff are wonderful, they all go above and beyond to care. They have different activities every week and trips out to the zoo and airport. He is really settled there, if he wasn't I'm sure he would let me and the staff know.

My brother has been a resident at Greatwood House since 29/09/2023. He was warmly welcomed and taken care of whilst he settled in. He loves it here, everyone is warm, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The management and staff are excellent. They keep his family well informed. He also enjoys the range of entertainment. He has even done Karaoke!

My uncle went into this home a couple of months ago for respite care. We were unsure we'd made the right decision but we really did. He has settled in very well and is enjoying the company. The staff have and are all great, who go above and beyond. They have made us feel at ease about everything. They are all really friendly. Always kept informed of any activities, outings etc. Excellent home would recommend to anyone.

Myself and the family are very happy with Mam's care. She is settled and well-dressed on our visits. Mam really enjoys our little sing-a-longs when we visit and I believe she enjoys the excursions which have been recently introduced. A giant step I believe.

Grandma coming to Greatwood House was an excellent choice. Grandma is a lot happier surrounded by other people. As a family, it made the situation a lot easier to handle. All staff are very friendly and accommodating. 10/10.

No price for the peace of mind I now have that Dad settled quickly into a warm, caring and friendly environment. My dealings with the staff have been positive and reassuring. Dad enjoys their caring and company. It was good to call in and see staff dancing and singing with residents. Perfect!

Although I have not yet been inside it is very clean. The staff are very helpful and look after my mum extremely well. My mum says it's like a 5-star hotel you can have what you want.
