Lovely home and staff, very clean. Food could be better.

My experience of the home was first class, the staff was always polite and helpful the home was always clean and the staff always seemed to interact with the residents. My friend always said that the food was very good. Only one dowfall as I could see was that after 8PM it was difficult to exit the
building as there was no one on reception.

I have been living at The Granby a while now and I couldn't fault it. Every single person who works here is so caring and they do look after us all. The daily activities and food is very good and I feel there is a good range of choices. I often go out on trips or daily outings to the town and more
with the activities team.

I am happy staying here. Staff are friendly and always smiling. Happy to help. I feel I have good privacy and I like my own space and my room is lovely with a great view. Thank you.

Everyone at the Grandby is extreamly welcoming and very helpful and do everything to help the residents and make there time here as fun as possible . They are always doing activities and putting on fun things to do everyday . they are kind and considerate for peoples needs .

At first I didn't want to be in a care home. I tried everything to go home but after time I settled in and made loads of new friends which are amazing and are who have helped me to be able to go home safely today.
I am going to miss everyone, the time has been great and all the activities and
trips out to my favourite places, pubs and bowling was a highlight.
Thank you Granby so much.

Harrogate is a beautiful place. The Granby is surrounded by beauty all year round. Sitting out in the front garden during summer with the activities team and friends, having ice cream. My room is lovely. Everyone is caring and always happy and brighten my day. I have made new friends who I now see
every day, and we enjoy dominoes and relaxing in the lounges.

Life is very different now, but it's good. I have made new friends and I am able to do the hobbies I love (well some, obvious reasons). All the staff are great, always helpful and caring. I have my low points but they are getting better now I'm settled.

Thank you so much for the party in the ballroom. One of my family came all the way from Sheffield to join me for lunch then another friend came to see the magic show, he was a very clever man, good at his job. Then a lovely pony came. The staff all worked very hard to give us all a lovely Halloween
day - was one to remember. Thank you.

I found The Granby staff all excellent and cannot find any fault with any of the staff from management to the laundry staff. I would also like to thank all the carers that looked after my wife while in your care for the last 15 months. They could not have given her more care as I know how stubborn
my wife was. They gave her good care. Thank you all for everything.

I am happy at The Granby, I have just had my 100th birthday which was very good and a surprise. There are no faults.

Everyone at The Granby is amazing and marvellous at caring for everyone. Right to the fine detail, there is always something going on to suit all. I am happy The Gramby is my home now.

The building is a beautiful building, very old but yet so modern. I am grateful for all the care.

Dad has lived at The Granby for 5 years. His needs have changed during that time but the staff have always looked after him with respect, care and compassion. He has always been happy here and felt secure and cared for.
