My mother in law has been a resident here since October. Since, we have been very happy with the level of care she has received. The care staff and nurses have been very attentive and accommodating to the families and patients requests. We have been satisfied with the communication and updates we
have received.

The staff are pleasant and helpful. The staff try to make it feel like home for residents, particularly holding festive & celebration periods for all faiths. Food given is decent quality & quantity. Medical needs are seen to.

I am very happy with Norwood Green Care Home. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Well done everyone for their hard work keeping our mum happy.

The staff are wonderful, caring and very efficient in a friendly way. I have a couple of issues:
the clothes seem either go missing or destroyed through aggressive washing. Apparently this happens in all care homes! There never is any explanation or reason given!
Since Gold Care has taken
over the home looks like barracks! They removed all the wall coverings/decals/anything which made it like home!
If I was looking for a home now I would not choose It because it looks very institutional, hospitals look much better! Not very dementia friendly!
I rated "poor" because of the above issues not because of the staff or care but because lack of internal features.

Staff work very hard to care for the residents. Staff are always friendly and take the time to speak to family members.
My aunt is happy and well cared for.

Re: Summer BBQ, Saturday 9th August.
This was a lovely event. The residents were sat in the courtyard on a beautiful day. The entertainment provided for them was great fun and the performers interacted with everyone. The food and drink was delicious and the staff made great efforts to ensure the
residents enjoyed the day. Visitors were also made to feel vert welcome. Thank you.

The staff are so kind and thoughtful and treat my brother with dignity and respect and like family. I wouldn't leave my brother anywhere else.

My dad stayed here for approx 5 weeks only but the care and consideration he received was outstanding and we can't thank the staff enough for making his last few weeks comfortable because we know he wasn't always the easiest person to look after.

Had a wonderful visit to celebrate my father's 90th birthday. His room was lovely and festive with 'Happy Birthday' banners on his wall. The activities co-ordinator has taken wonderful photo's of him which we will cherice. Such wonderful staff and the lunch looked delicious. Thank you.

Norwood Green Care Home is a welcoming, spacious and caring environment. My mother has been resident here for nearly one year and she is very settled and happy. All her needs are well catered for and the staff and management are always striving for excellence.
The home has seen many improvements
over the year.

Fantastic home from home, could not ask for more. Carers, nurses are excellent. They always go the extra mile for you, easy to talk to. Such a relaxing place, always clean and tidy. The cleaners do a fantastic job of cleaning rooms every morning. Always smiling.
If I could, I would live here
indefinitely.
Kitchen staff, fantastic. I was never bored. Managers are easy to approach and easy to talk to. I would recommend this place.

A really lovely Diwali party today with nice music, dancing, lights and fireworks, as well as the food! It is refreshing to see the Asian cultures celebrated and I would welcome more of this since musicians etc that come in tend to represent and cater to the older English generation.

I have found the staff to be extremely helpful, kind and caring. They have been so lovely towards my father. I would like to particularly thank the registered nurse for the kindness she has shown our family.

Very poor, not very happy everything is very untidy, especially the kitchen floor is not very clean. In the bedroom very untidy, in the bathroom as well. The staff don't do what they are supposed to do considering it's a care home.

Aunt has been resident since June 2023. On all visits staff and management have always been friendly and welcoming. Any issues have always been discussed and resolved. We are very pleased with the home and know she is in good, safe hands so no worry for our family. Great job.

My mother only came to the care home ten days ago from hospital so it is early days. She was initially unsettled by the move but seems to be getting used to her new environment. The staff have all been very kind and supportive.

It is a highly recommended home. The carers as well as the management team are amazing. They looked after my uncle making it feel homely for him. Absolutely amazing. The managers are very helpful as well as the admin in the reception. It's a clean and neat home. I'm very happy with all the services.

Absolutely lovely, kind, patient staff... feel very happy that my dad is a resident as he is already being very well cared for. The activities yesterday were great fun; everybody was encouraged to join in and there was a lovely atmosphere.
