Norwood Green Care Home has improved so much since Gold Care Homes took over. It has been refurbished and restructured in many ways which have benefitted the care of the residents. The staff all seem happy and are appreciated by the residents who are all treated with respect. My mother really likes it here.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear that you've seen such positive improvements at Norwood Green and, most importantly, that your mother is happy here. It's lovely to know the changes, alongside the care and respect shown by our team, have made such a positive difference.

Staff are very pleasant and as helpful as they can be. Overall my husband gets as much attention as they can give. In a perfect world all needs would be attended, but alas the world is not perfect, everybody does the best they can do.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we appreciate your kind words.
I visit a resident as part of a group. We are all volunteers and visit people in care homes and in their homes as well. My experience of visiting Norwood Green Care Home is a very positive one as the staff are friendly and helpful. I could recommend it to any family who may be thinking of placing a loved one in a care home for their care.
Firstly, thank you for volunteering at our home and for giving up some of your time to put a smile on our residents' faces. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience also. Best wishes from all of us, Miguel
Over all very beautiful place.
Thank you for leaving us such a lovely review. Best wishes, Miguel
My mother in law has been a resident here since October. Since, we have been very happy with the level of care she has received. The care staff and nurses have been very attentive and accommodating to the families and patients requests. We have been satisfied with the communication and updates we have received.
I am very happy with Norwood Green Care Home. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Well done everyone for their hard work keeping our mum happy.
Thank you for your kind review. It is our pleasure to care for your mum, and I am delighted she is happy with the support from our team. Best wishes, Miguel
The staff are wonderful, caring and very efficient in a friendly way. I have a couple of issues:
the clothes seem either go missing or destroyed through aggressive washing. Apparently this happens in all care homes! There never is any explanation or reason given!
Since Gold Care has taken over the home looks like barracks! They removed all the wall coverings/decals/anything which made it like home!
If I was looking for a home now I would not choose It because it looks very institutional, hospitals look much better! Not very dementia friendly!
I rated "poor" because of the above issues not because of the staff or care but because lack of internal features.
Thank you for your kind comments about our staff. I am sorry to hear how you feel about the environment now and believe that I have conveyed to you during a meeting that the home is under a programme of refurbishment. Hopefully, the results will meet with your approval. Best wishes, Miguel
My aunt is happy and well cared for.
Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion on our home. I'm glad that your aunt is happy with us.
This was a lovely event. The residents were sat in the courtyard on a beautiful day. The entertainment provided for them was great fun and the performers interacted with everyone. The food and drink was delicious and the staff made great efforts to ensure the residents enjoyed the day. Visitors were also made to feel vert welcome. Thank you.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. I hope to see you at our next event. Warm wishes,
The staff are so kind and thoughtful and treat my brother with dignity and respect and like family. I wouldn't leave my brother anywhere else.
Thank you for your kind review! Warm regards, Miguel
My dad stayed here for approx 5 weeks only but the care and consideration he received was outstanding and we can't thank the staff enough for making his last few weeks comfortable because we know he wasn't always the easiest person to look after.
Thank you for your wonderful review! It was our pleasure to care for your dad. Warm regards.
Had a wonderful visit to celebrate my father's 90th birthday. His room was lovely and festive with 'Happy Birthday' banners on his wall. The activities co-ordinator has taken wonderful photo's of him which we will cherice. Such wonderful staff and the lunch looked delicious. Thank you.
Thank you for leaving us a review, we're thrilled you enjoyed it.
We have only been here for a couple of hours, staff are friendly. So unable to mention activities or value for money.

If I could, I would live here indefinitely.
Kitchen staff, fantastic. I was never bored. Managers are easy to approach and easy to talk to. I would recommend this place.
Thank you for your review. We will pass on your kind words to all our staff, See you soon.
The show was very good, food good. Dancers were very good. Hope to see it again.
We're glad you enjoyed the show and the wonderful food!
A really lovely Diwali party today with nice music, dancing, lights and fireworks, as well as the food! It is refreshing to see the Asian cultures celebrated and I would welcome more of this since musicians etc that come in tend to represent and cater to the older English generation.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. This is something we can certainly explore amongst the wide variety of activities and entertainment we offer. Best wishes, Miguel
I have found the staff to be extremely helpful, kind and caring. They have been so lovely towards my father. I would like to particularly thank the registered nurse for the kindness she has shown our family.
Thank you for these wonderful words. Our staff will be so pleased to hear that you are happy with your father's care. Best Wishes, Miguel

Miguel, originally from the picturesque island of St.Lucia in the West Indies, has been a Registered Nurse for the past 14 years. Choosing this profession out of a genuine love for people and a passion for caring, she migrated to the United Kingdom in December 2019. Initially working as a pre-registered nurse, she progressed to become a nursing home manager, demonstrating excellence in overseeing daily operations, implementing rigorous quality standards, and providing strong leadership to ensure the well-being and care of her residents.
Miguel's hobbies include reading, cherishing quality moments with her family, and staying ahead of current developments in healthcare.

Sipin began his career in the care sector in 2009, inspired by his mother and his experiences caring for his grandparents. He joined Norwood Green in January 2019 as a Registered Nurse and now serves as Deputy Manager, striving to elevate care standards for residents. He holds a Bachelor's in Nursing, is a certified Dialysis Technician, and has a Master's in Hospital Management. Sipin's diverse experience includes work in the Medical Unit, Intensive Care Unit, Trauma Care, Cardiac ICU, and Dialysis Unit.
Outside work, he enjoys reading medical research, drawing, and music, with a goal to learn the guitar. He values strong family bonds and treasures time spent with his loved ones.
