Since my mum has been at Charlotte House the staff have been so kind and supportive.
They have looked after her with such compassion and professionalism from day one, providing so many activities and events to make a difference to her comfort and wellbeing. They even painted her nails which was a
nice surprise!
They keep me informed every step of the way throughout her declining health which has given me such peace of mind.
I feel completely reassured knowing that my mum is in the right place, receiving the right level of care and support she needs. I am so grateful for everything they do.

I just want to thank Carmen and team for looking after mum for the last 7 months of her life. Mum sadly passed away just before Christmas but I know the last 7 months did her the world of good and the team at Charlotte House really helped. The team could not do enough.

Christmas Day was made so special by all the hardworking, welcoming staff at Charlotte House.Thank you to the chef and kitchen staff for a wonderful Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings. The Chef made the most delicious and beautiful birthday cake for mum who's birthday is on Christmas Day.Thank
you to all the Care Staff who worked so hard that day to make sure residents and families had a great time and mum had a fun birthday.

I've been extremely impressed with the level of care provided at this home. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted by warm, welcoming staff who clearly take pride in what they do. The environment is clean, comfortable, and feels genuinely homely.

My mum was sent to Charlotte House in May 23 after being told she had about 3 - 6 months. Sadly, mum passed away peacefully in May 25. My sister and I truly believe that the caring, kindness and total devotion of all the staff gave mum those extra two years with us. She enjoyed the activities that
were arranged, especially a trip to the seaside that coincided with her birthday, as she talked of this often. She was listened to and treated with dignity by all. Mum had lots of personal things in her room, which must have made it difficult for the staff, but never a complaint was made, in fact comments were made at how lovely it was, especially at Christmas. I cannot fault this amazing place.

The staff at Charlotte House couldn't have been nicer to my dad, who was 95 when he passed away, having been there for 15 months. They encouraged him to move about and socialise, which he did as long as he could/wanted to, and then they were respectful that he was happier in his room with his
crosswords, and TV. They were always very welcoming, no matter what time of day I visited, or at weekends. A lovely care home.

I found every member of staff from each department very helpful, kind and considerate. Everyone was so kind to my Mother-in-law and made her stay very enjoyable, every event was celebrated making a happy atmosphere. The hairdresser was a big hit and painting nails too, but most of all it was the
love, kindness and respect given to her.

Our mum is really well looked after and the staff are lovely with her. She has been a resident for nearly 7 years and is very settled in the home. It is a relief for us to know she is being properly cared for all the time.

All staff are polite and very helpful and welcoming and I know my mum is in safe hands which makes me happy.

My husband was not shaved, his hair was greasy, not washed. I gave warning that I would pick him up at 1pm. I arrived at 2pm. Staff just packing his clothes. We had someone else's coat int he bag which I took back later, also medication which I picked up. It is a friendly place, but could be a lot
better in different areas. Staff are friendly. No one around when I left, I would have liked to talk with someone.

My mum has been in Charlotte House for six months. She is 93 with Alzheimer's and very active, this can be a challenge! The staff have been patient and kind and my brothers. I have felt very welcome when we visit.

Lovely people, very helpful, kind, friendly and welcoming. Staff are very professional. Clean and tidy environment. Nice Christmas themes for the holiday period.

When my mum first came to the home, we thought we only had a short time with her. Now, I think she will reach her 100th birthday easily. Nothing is too much trouble for the manager and staff. We organised a party for her birthday with the help of a member of staff on reception. She has come on leaps
and bounds since being admitted. I cannot praise Charlotte House enough, thank you to everyone there.

My brother has been at Charlotte House since May 2021. Staff have provided him with very good quality care. They work hard to ensure that he is referred to other professionals when needed and care plans are received.

We have found that our cousin has settled into her new life in Charlotte House. She feels content that she has made the right decision to come here. We have come to be with her every day and have never found her to have any worries. What is especially good is that all the staff know her name and
greet her in passing. She feels she belongs here. We will go back to Australia without concerns about her well-being.

We were looking for a friendly local home for our elderly uncle and feel very lucky to have found Charlotte House.
The team is dedicated and responsive, and we have peace of mind that he is being well looked after. It's a welcoming home with a laid-back atmosphere - just what we were looking for.
Huge thanks to all the staff for their efforts, they take pride in their work and are a pleasure to deal with.

The staff are very kind and caring towards the residents and keep families updated on their loved ones in the home. I have had and continue to have a great relationship with the staff of the home. I'm my opinion, an excellent home.

All the staff (management, nursing, carers, reception) have gone beyond their daily care duties to help, support and guide me through this difficult time of my sister's passing.
During the past 2 years of my sister's residency at Charlotte House, I have come to feel so welcomed and as part of a
family.

My wife was a resident of Charlotte House between early July 23 and October 2023. I was very impressed with the compassionate care provided by this establishment. Everybody, from the two staff members on reception, the nurses and ancillary staff, were all very friendly and genuinely empathetic.
Everybody said hello when I arrived and my wife was very well looked after. The care home was efficiently run. Thoroughly recommended.
