We thank all the staff for kindness showed to my mother during what turned out to be a relatively short time at Chalfont Lodge. It was a difficult and painful time for her and we are very grateful for the physical and medical care the staff gave, listening to our concerns and being attentive to her
pain relief needs and care. The staff also showed sensitivity and understanding in their care and support just sitting with her for company and comfort or trying to bring a smile to her face. We shall always be grateful to the team at Chalfont Lodge for their care in the last weeks of my mothers life.

My mum was only in Chalfont Lodge for two weeks, but during that short time, I was very impressed with the care and compassion with which she was treated. This also continued beyond the home when mum was taken to hospital following a fall. The care nurse accompanying her took excellent care to
ensure that mum was kept comfortable in her final hours, for this depth of compassion. I will be forever grateful.

My father received end of life care at Chalfont Lodge in the last two weeks of his life. Throughout this time, each member of the staff team treated him with dignity and respect. Cheerful, kind, considerate and professional are qualities we observed, and my father benefited from.

Reception staff are very friendly and welcoming. Care staff are kind and caring, showing great empathy and patience. Management are approachable and keen to help the resident feel at home. Any issues are quickly resolved without fuss or complaint. A joy to visit as a friend I was treated like a
valued guest.

First time visiting aunt who has been a resident for a few months. Really impressed with all staff we met. Lovely, friendly atmosphere. Beautiful setting. Good range of activities.

I placed my Auntie in here for respite for 4 weeks hopefully with the view to her becoming a permanent resident which I am pleased to say she is now a resident.
My Auntie is very well cared for and is very happy in her new surroundings.
So a big thank you to all the staff for taking such good care
of my Auntie, a very hard decision for me to make to have to place her in a home but so pleased I chose Chalfont Lodge.

Our dad was sent here from the hospital for an assessment with regards to his capacity and ability to look after himself due to his dementia & mobility.
The care he receives here is what any family could hope & wish for. And maybe more so.

Fantastic care as always. Everyone but especially the team in Sunningdale unit are so fabulous. Each care assistant is attentive to the individuals needs. My mother loves it here!

My needs and problems are dealt with promptly, skillfully and with great kindness and empathy. I am able to discuss treatment and medication and I regard the nursing staff as friends I trus.

As a family we have found the nursing care and personal care of my mother to be excellent. We cannot fault the dedication and compassion of the nursing and care staff at Chalfont Lodge. The activities arranged are first class and my mother has benefitted greatly from the varied programme which has
been provided for her during her stay here. The food is tasty and nutritious and my mother has always been happy with it. We very much appreciate the very good care given to my mother.

My mother has been resident at Chalfont Lodge since October 2023.
The standard of care she has received has been excellent. All members of staff achieve an excellent level of care and service provision which is brilliant
As my mother enters the termal stages of her life this excellent care is now
extended to ALL members of her family & I am deeply grateful for all we have received
