My son and I recently visited from the United States. My brother is a resident at Claremont and seems very happy there mainly due to the kind and attentive staff who take care of him.
I was impressed with everyone who attended to his needs and also that the facility itself is spotless, the meals
(of which we had one) were delicious, and well presented. Overall, I believe this is the ultimate in care homes for anyone who lives there, and wanted you to know how much I appreciate all you do for my brother.

Such a lovely environment that feels like home. More importantly than this is the level of care provided which surpasses the quality surroundings. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a smile. I have been able to have complete peace of mind that dad is being cared for which has
eased the burden somewhat during this difficult time.

Visited my cousin again today and was once again impressed by the care and service provided. We had lunch together in the conservatory and that too was very pleasant and tasty. As always at Parkway, decor and cleanliness seemed excellent.

Only here for a short time.
Time enough to take in what a good place this is to look after my wife and myself.
This is a good, safe, warm place to stay.

The care and attention given to my husband was second to none. Although for only a short time he was treated with respect & dignity by all concernd. The staff were kind respectful & very pleasant. I would recommend Claremont to anybody needing care for any of their relatives.

My mother has been a resident at Claremont parkway for 5 years ,the care and attention she has received over that time is truly second to nine, her needs have increased over time as she has become more frail and needy I am aware that at all times she is treated with respect and dignity, any
requests or concerns I have are dealt with promptly ,l am at all times kept advised of any concerns the staff have.Thank you all staff for the excellent care you are truly a second family for her, I am certain so could not have better care anywhere else .

I cannot speak highly enough of every member of staff at Claremont Parkway that I met.
The care and support that my partner received during his tem months there was fantastic. I know he was not always the easiest to deal with but he appreciated everything you did for him before he passed
The
support I received myself was great, staff always knew when I needed support and quite often a hug.
I would certainly recommend this Care Home

I have visited a close friend of mine several times at Claremont & found the staff very welcoming. We come as a threesome of ladies and have always been coffee/tea & a biscuit. Our friend tells us she is very well looked after.

Very grateful to Barchester Claremont Parkway Care Home, Kettering, for the help they gave to my wife, who was seriously ill. The staff were excellent, particularly thanks to the general manager and the nurses, in my wife's time of need.

My dad has been in your care for three months in what was an unexpected downturn in his health. His family around him have been made to feel so welcome in this time which has meant he has a constant diary of visitors. The team go the extra mile on every occasion and has not only facilitated a
beautiful golden wedding party but also enabled us to have an extra special Christmas with ten of us being accommodated in beautiful surroundings with delicious food, all by a wonderfully friendly team. Thank you for everything you do and have done.

My mother has been in Barchester Claremont Parkway Care Home for the last eighteen months. In the last four months, three of the residents, including her, formed a very close bond. The youngest of them died unexpectedly in hospital on a Friday evening. My mum and the other resident were shocked and
bereft. Her death was totally unexpected. A carer in charge of activities came in on her day off without being asked to comfort them both. She was so caring and went way above the call of duty. A simply marvellous asset to Claremont.

My mum has been here for almost 6 weeks and is very happy here. I was worried she would not settle but she did and has made friends and loves the staff. A huge relief for me and my family.

My wife has been a resident at Barchester Claremont Parkway Care Home since May 2024, where she was originally placed by local authorities for respite care, after release from hospital where she was treated for a serious stroke. Whilst at Claremont, she has had good care, treated with dignity, care
staff look after her well. The manager has provided me with some invaluable advice over the past months.

Pleasant and friendly staff, always looking after Mum, the staff can't do enough to help.

Overall experience was good and all staff were lovely and caring. They always had time to talk to us and update our family. Very nice and clean environment, pleasant lounges for visiting times. Only complaint was the bathroom bin and bag for stoma disposal were not changed during the respite week.

The two areas which I feel need attention are;
1) Staff levels - the staff, especially carers, are very stretched which means residents often have very lengthy waits for attention.
2) The food - menu items are sometimes strange choices for elderly residents, with foreign/vegetarian options with
which they are unfamiliar. I suspect simpler, more traditional offerings (shepherd pie, for instance) would be more popular and get eaten.
