From the moment we visited the Grove looking for a home for our 97 year old Mum to the warm welcome when she arrived in the pouring rain, the staff have been wonderful in helping her through a huge change in her life and responding quickly to any minor concerns. 18 months ago she was living
independently, even driving and delivering cakes & goodies to her neighbours who were considerably younger than her, when she suffered a stroke. She amazed us by learning to walk again but living on her own, hours away from family, meant every day was so lonely despite having a team of good carers to help.
She has now made friends, enjoys all the varied activities, including experiencing VR and Wii games, & has a new lease of life. It's great to see her sense of humour has returned and, as a keen cook, she comments that most meals are very tasty.
Most importantly, we feel happy knowing that she is safe and well cared for by the amazing staff at the Grove which she is now is happy to call her home.

Once again The Grove demonstrates for whose benefit it operates. The coffee shop was closed again because a meeting was being held, so visitors were expected to meet their residents in odd corners of the dining room.
The facilities on site are excellent, the staff are lovely, but management
decisions like this detract from the quality of the experience for residents and visitors.

I have excellent experience of The Grove. The staff are compassionate and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming environment. The facilities are clean, comfortable and well maintained, making it a safe and pleasant place to live. Residents receive personalised care tailored to their needs, which
truely shows the dedication of the team. Overall, this care home provides outstanding support and feels like a community. Highly recommend!

I have visited this care home on a few occasions in the last few months. I must say I am very impressed. The staff are very kind and lovely to residents. In fact, I think residents are treated very well! I work in community care myself and I've been very pleased with what I've seen.

My mum had family over to visit from New Zealand, after brief discussions with the Customer Relations manager, she kindly organised a buffet lunch for us all to share a special visit with my mum. The food was delicious, the table was all set out in the coffee shop so we have our own little party!
One staff member in particular did an amazing job attending to our every need. All in all it was a perfect afternoon and I can't thank oyu all enough, especially the customer relations manager and two members of staff in particular for organising it all. We made very special memories and had a perfect afternoon thanks to 'The Grove'.

One staff member in particular organised a family tea at The Grove, which was excellent. Well supported on the day by another staff member and the customer relations manager.

We're so pleased with the care and support that The Grove has provided for mum. The staff are all friendly and very caring, nothing is too much trouble, such a lovely enviroment. We have peace of mind knowing that mum is safe and looked after.

Absolutely fabulous care home. The staff are fantastic, providing total care for the residents. It really is an amazing place, and Mum is well settled.

My experience of the grove is very positive. Mums been a resident of the grove since September 2022. Mums dignity and respect is always put first. She isn't a lady that communicates well verbally, however she is always asked if she would like to join in daily activities. She enjoys her trips to the
coffee shop with us. We are always treated well when we visit mum. Overall are visits are very enjoyable.

My uncle came to The Grove Care Home for a week, to give my mum some respite. The care he was given was outstanding, he has learning difficulties and finds it difficult to understand and take in information. However, they got down to his level physically and communicated in a way he could
understand. He was very happy whilst he was in their care, as it's been quite a while since I have seen him smile and be so talkative. My mum does an excellent job looking after him, however, it was a break they both needed. Thank you!

The Grove is a beautifully kept home. Warm and comfortable. I'm told the food is good. But the best thing about it is the staff. They are kind and generous with their time and without exception seem happy in their work. A wonderful thing in this day.

Mum moved into The Grove Care Home in November. I cannot put into words how much improvement there has been in mum. She is talking to us, interested in things around her, thoroughly enjoying the activities, mum is always encouraged and included in things. Mum looks smartly turned out, all the staff
treat her with dignity and respect and they are always around to answer any quires we may have. I cannot thank everyone but this starts from the top. Thoroughly happy to leave mum when we have visited.

Joined my sister to celebrate her birthday, which I had been approached about by two particular members of staff earlier in the week, offering the coffee club as a location for family and friends to join her in a private location within the care home. We were greeted by another member of staff who
had prepared a decorated table and room and served us a beautiful meal. We couldn't have had a better venue - first class.

We celebrated Mum's 97th birthday as a family in the 'coffee club'. We were extremely well looked after by our hostess and had a delicious meal, a main course, dessert and tea/coffee. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed and Mum really enjoyed it. It was a lovely way to celebrate. The staff, as
always, were wonderful.

We visited Mum to celebrate her 97th birthday and had lunch in the Coffee Club. We had a super time - the new refurbishments are excellent, the hostess and all the staff were top class, the food and service were superb. Mum had a really lovely time. Thank you to all at The Grove.

Had a lovely evening meal in the cafe with Mum and her close friends plus my brother who was visiting. This was a 'private dining experience. The food was wonderful and so was the service. The chef was a lovely hostess who looked after us beautifully.
