Northview Lodge Care Home is outstanding. Excellent standard of care. The management team provide the best possible care to residents. The staff and nurses are very highly skilled. The care staff are outstanding, can't do enough for the residents and very helpful to the family. Highly recommend

My husband has recently moved to this nursing home. And I am delighted to share my overwhelmingly positive experience so far. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the welcome extended to us has been truly heartening. The level of care and attention my husband receives fills me with happiness
and reassurance, knowing he is in capable hands. What truly sets this establishment apart is their commitment to keeping me involved in every aspect of his care journey.
The staff exemplify kindness, generosity and approachability going above and beyond their requirements. I couldn't be more grateful.

As stated below all my family and myself were perfectly happy for our son and brother being loved and cared for at all times while he was in residence at Northview Lodge. Sadly my son passed away on 22nd June 2022. We have visited the home to say our personal thanks to all his carers and staff.

I have lived here at Northview Lodge Care Home now for 12 years and I have a lot of respect for all staff who work. It's what you call a big family home. As they are here to look after us nearly every day and they give us a lot of time to talk to if you needed or just to chat in general. I love
living here, our staff are 100% amazing people.

My dad seems very happy at Northview Lodge, he has a lovely room and he enjoys the meals. He was reluctant to join in with activities at first but he has now been enjoying days out and is joining in more. The staff are always friendly and the home is always clean. I would like to see the Covid
regulations relaxed more as my dad lip-reads and he finds it difficult when everyone is wearing a mask etc.

I can't recommend this home highly enough. My brother is currently a resident there and the care he has received whilst in this home is second to none, we recently had a family wedding, the carer and nurse who chaperoned my brother were absolutely brilliant with him on the day. They were very
attentive to his needs and were also very discreet when attending his needs which was lovely to see, they really know how to care for their residents. I would also like to say that the other staff in the home went above and beyond to help my brother feel part of the wedding party by dressing up his wheelchair in the bridesmaid's colours, it was so thoughtful and we all thought it was absolutely amazing, we can't thank all concerned enough as we were truly overwhelmed by everything they did for my brother on the day. I have to say though the carer and nurse really deserve recognition for all their efforts on the day, we really appreciate everything you did on the day. Thanks.

I like this home because of the activities eg: cooking, art and, especially shopping and entertainment from the staff. I compliment the kitchen staff. I love cooking and art, going shopping and going out for meals.

We are taken on activities. I enjoyed going to Beamish. I like to do yoga in my bedroom.

Great care home, staff are amazing and my husband wouldn't be where he is today without their care, devotion and encouragement. My husband is making great progress with everyone's help and support, we are all excited as to what 2020 will bring. Couldn't have wished for a better place for my
husband's recovery will be forever grateful for everything the staff have done for him and for us all as a family.

I am happy with all the love and care and attention given to my son. I have full confidence with all who attend to my son. Who rarely converses, but the staff give him full attention for the need. We rarely see the manager and have not had a meeting with him.
