My husband was welcomed into the home and has settled in very well. He is safe and stress-free, being looked after by the staff who keep him clean and manage his health needs. He interacts with all the staff who are always friendly and helpful. Activities are arranged and he is encouraged to join in with the other residents, which he is doing/ When taken out for trips by us, he is always happy to return to his 'safe place'. I am very happy with the treatment he has been given.

Acorn Meadow since say 1 with mum have been exceptional! Staff are amazing and can't do enough for us as a family and for mum herself.

My mum has been at Acorn Meadow for almost 3 months. She's settled well and quickly. I believe this has had a lot to do with how she has been looked after and made to feel very welcome. I have had a huge adjustment to make, having been mum's 24/7 sole carer for over a year. It has been hard to give up control, but I know she is safe and cared for.

From the moment my mum arrived (August 2023), the level of service and care has been exceptional. The staff are highly skilled and genuinely compassionate - they go above and beyond every single day to ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and love. Before moving here, my mum's health was fragile, and her needs were often unmet, leading to frequent long hospital admissions. Since being in the care of this incredible team, her quality of life has improved dramatically. Her complex needs are now consistently and expertly managed, giving her the stability and support she truly deserves. The nurturing, attentive staff take the time to understand each resident personally, tailoring care in a way that makes a real, impactful difference to the daily life of all residents. This care home has truly transformed my mum's life - and ours as a family. We have peace of mind knowing she's safe and thriving. THANK YOU to all staff for your outstanding remarkable dedication and heart!

My mum is a resident and the staff are absolutely friendly very helpful always have time to talk to me anything I need to know they are on the phone letting me know mum is always clean and tidy couldn't ask for anything else for them to do.

Whilst mum's dementia continues to worsen, her care needs become more acute. Mum's needs are clearly recognised by the staff and her care adjusted accordingly. It is a huge comfort to our family to know that mum is being so well cared for at Acorn Meadow.

After a recent spell in hospital, Mum arrived at Acorn Meadow Care Home for respite care. What an amazing team of individuals that we met. Dementia isn't the easiest of conditions to face for an individual or family and friends trying to support them. Without the care, kindness, compassion and empathy that this team have shown us, we surely would have struggled to manage with all the emotions that come with having to place a loved one into care. The team at Acorn Meadow fully supported Mum with this transition, supporting her needs, maintaining dignity and reassuring her on good and bad days. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Mum is now a permanent resident here which is such a relief to myself and my sister to have found such a special place. We'd like to thank all the team at Acorn Meadow that play such an amazing part in Mum's new life for their care, compassion and for becoming her new trusted friends and for allowing us to know Mum is safe and cared for, thank you.

I can only speak highly of Acorn Meadow Care Home. Following a stay in hospital, mum moved to Acorn Meadow. From my very first visit, I knew this was the home for mum. Nothing is too much trouble and all the staff are amazing and treat mum with respect and dignity. Staff are kind and understanding, making sure all her needs are met. The home is clean and very comfortable. Food is outstanding.

A care home in our local area that truly goes above and beyond for its residents and their relatives. The staff here are fantastic with the residents. The quality of care is second to none. The residents are well looked after and thriving. My grandmother has been here for several years and calls this her home. The warm atmosphere in the home ensures security for the residents allowing them to build a trusting relationship with the staff. The care home communication with relatives is simply amazing. I cannot recommend this clean, welcoming and friendly care home enough.

Mum has been a resident at Acorn Meadow for nearly 3 years. The staff are lovely and do an amazing job. Mum is always well cared for and is very happy in her "home". Communication is second to none. We are always involved in decisions about her care.

Best care home in the region. The staff are fabulous with residents and the whole family. Very caring and considerate. The care home has excellent facilities and is always kept to high standards in cleanliness etc.

Usual attentive care given to my mother during a difficult period. When she first had a seizure and two weeks later a chest infection. Both times requiring hospital admittance. Staff at Acorn Meadow kept me informed throughout and stayed in touch with the hospital. I always feel as though Mum is well looked after by the team.

Cannot fault the staff at Acorn Meadow. They are compassionate, treat all residents with dignity and support the resident's relatives when needed. Nothing is too much trouble for them. So lucky that Mum was placed here. Thank you!

My father is extremely well cared for at Acorn Meadow. The staff are very helpful, friendly and no job is too small. The care home is very well managed by the manager and his team, two members of staff in particular are very helpful. The kindness of the staff is evident. I'm so very pleased that Dad is safe and very happy at AM.

My mum came for respite but was so happy and settled that we made it a permanent placement. We had lots of help from the management and the transition from respite to residential was completed without stress or fuss and Mum even stayed in the same room. The staff are brilliant. Mum is always clean and well-hydrated and has put some weight on. She no longer displays agitation. The doctor is called as required.

We decided to put Mum in Acorn Meadow to be with her identical twin sister on recommendation from a relative. We are so pleased with all aspects of the home, the way the manager and all the staff work as a team in looking after and caring for our mother. They make every occasion a happy one. Birthdays, Easter, Christmas, Halloween. More importantly, the staff work so hard and are always happy to help and have a smile on their face even when probably under pressure. Mum is looked after 100%.

The manager and staff have been excellent in dealing with my mother's care and individual needs. She is now settled and happy with her surroundings and care. Mum celebrated her 100th birthday at Acorn Meadow Care Home. There was a wonderful buffet prepared and she and the people in attendance thoroughly enjoyed the day.
