The staff are very patient and caring and remain calm if there is a problem. There are paved areas so that residents can walk outside in winter if the weather is suitable and beautiful grounds for warmer dryer weather.
There are lots of activities planned throughout the day for the residents and
they are actively encouraged to join in. The residents look out for each other and regard it as their home and all of this creates a lovely atmosphere enhanced by a beautiful building with plenty of space.
Nothing is too much trouble and the staff always try and deal with any request including purchasing items.

Four years ago I moved to Dulas Court with my late wife. The love and respect we received and I still receive ensures I feel surrounded by the care of professionals who cater for my every need. Trips to the theatre and a glass of wine with lunch give my life meaning and joy. Her loss was dignified
and my fellow residents (now friends) showed great sympathy helping me grieve and find joy once more. Thank you Dulas Court.

My experience of this care provider has exceeded my expectations. I have therefore no hesitation in recommending this home to those who are searching for a suitable home. The one aspect which reassures me in particular is the personal touch that underlines the day to day experience, and gives peace
of mind to relatives and residents alike. This comes after I have experience of other homes in the past year, all of which came rather short of the required standard. I can now look forward to the future with confidence that my needs will be met, and dealt with in a sensitive way.

Dulas Court is a fantastic care home set in incredible grounds which provide a wonderful and stimulating environment. I have visited on a number of occasions and have particularly noted the caring atmosphere and focus on person-centred care. The home and grounds themselves are maintained to a very
high standard, as well as wonderful staff who are incredibly friendly and kind, in addition to going above and beyond to ensure residents care and happiness. The food always smells incredible too!

I have been consistently impressed (and reassured) by the high standards of not just protocol care but human, from the heart care for my father. Staff are not "doing a job" they are vocational and give their all in support of the residents. They clearly and rightly have great respect for the
organisation and provide an environment that is dignified, warm, respectful and caring. My father, despite his Alzheimer's, frequently refers to his room, its view and how much he likes it. Humbled and very happy that my father is in such kind and capable hands and being afforded the dignity that a veteran (and veteran human) is entitled to. Thank you for all that you do.

My overall experience of the care at Dulas Court is good. The general atmosphere is welcoming and staff work well together to provide a safe and pleasant place for the residents to live, having the option to take part in the many various activities or to relax in their rooms. Visitors are welcome at
any time.
Meals are excellent and medical care is well provided for.

Becky, Paul and the whole team at Dulas Court have been kind, caring, person-centred, careful and efficient throughout the transition to my father moving into respite care. All staff are considerate of his needs and are encouraging him to be as independent as possible. There are a wide range of
activities he enjoys participating in and Dulas Court already feels like home. We are very grateful for everything you are doing for us.

My mother has received the highest standard of care I could have hoped for. Her safety and comfort were my first priorities, and these have been met 100%. The friendly caring atmosphere is second to none. My mother has dietary needs which have been met with ease. She has never asked to leave
Dulas Court, and enjoys the activities arranged for the residents.
Dulas Court came highly recommended to me 8 years ago, and my dear friend stayed here for her remaining 2 years. My mother has been here 3 months, and clearly standards have been maintained. I can't thank staff enough for the caring support they have shown my family.
The premises and grounds are very well maintained and add to the enjoyment of residents and family alike. The Christmas Festivities were well planned and enjoyed by all in a truly family friendly atmosphere.

Dad moved to Dulas court 2022 and passed away there recently. The staff are amazing, from my first visit I knew that we had found a truly special place for him to call home with people that have chosen this line of work as a vocation, the love, care compassion and dignity with which all residents
are cared for is unparalleled in my opinion. Most of my visits were unannounced and dad was always being beautifully cared for whether with company, his appearance or his meals and endless requests for a cuppa. The piece of mind this allowed me was priceless. When dad started to decline there was a very open line of communication to me they would update immediately and honestly, but always with compassion. Dad was cherished right up until the end and I take great comfort in the fact that his Dulas family were with him. As a family we feel beyond grateful that Dad spent his remaining time with them. A truly special place filled with truly special people.

My father has just passed away after 3 years at Dulas Court he had mixed dementia and could be a little awkward at times. He had previously been in two care homes.
I have copied below the message I wrote in a thank-you card to all the staff as it speaks volumes
"Dear Becky and all the staff,
On behalf of my all my family, I want to express our heartfelt thanks for the compassion, dignity and kindness you have all shown over the last three years of Johns life.
I understand my father was quite a character and could at times be quite a challenge, the way you treated him is a credit to your profession. I especially liked the way you humoured him when he was contrary. Your care went beyond meeting his needs and it gave us great comfort knowing he was surrounded by people who truly cared, especially in his final days.
Dulas Court and its staff will always hold a special place in our hearts for the genuine care you extended to my father"
A truly marvellous place with lovely people

My mother in law came to Dulas for some respite care following quite a traumatic fall at home. The experience from the moment she entered Dulas to leaving was just wonderful. Mother-in-law is living with dementia and can get quite confused at times, needing support to re-orientate. The team at
Dulas are amazing and quickly understood her needs and helped her to feel safe and well looked after. This gave her a sense of security and also reassured us as her family that she was safe.
Mother in law quickly made friends witin the home. The wellbeing of her and others was supported, and she enjoyed several activities and entertainment both inside and outside the Home.
The team at Dulas are incredibly friendly and approachable, readily available to answer any questions and provide assistance. They made us all feel welcomed and valued. Exceptional.

We approached Dulas Court looking for 2 weeks respite for my dad to give mum a rest. After seeing how tired mum was, the manager pulled out all stops to help. Dulas Court is an amazing place. Spacious, safe, smells lovely and all the staff are kind and caring. When dad was unsettled in the afternoon
they quickly allowed a phone call to the family to provide reassurance. My regular calls to check on dad were very welcomed and they were keen to ensure they could do everything to make dad feel safe and welcomed including budding up with another resident. Thank you for giving us this space we needed.

Dulas Court is without doubt one of the best care homes I have ever visited. I always receive a warm welcome and it's always spotlessly clean and smells fresh and clean. I and visit the residents at various times throughout the year on a voluntary basis. The furnishings are luxurious and every room,
including the lounge, dining room, library and reception area are decorated beautifully with each bedroom individually furnished with the most beautiful curtains, carpets, bed throws etc. The food is always of a very high standard, looks very well presented and the residents always get a choice of a glass of wine or other liquid refreshment at meal times. The residents themselves are always dressed beautifully and there are always lots of entertainment and creative engaging and meaningful occupation for residents to take part in if they choose. First Class Care, laundry, maintenance and chauffeur all set in relaxing and tranquil gardens. Defiantly a 5 star care home.

It was with great reluctance that I arranged for my wife who has advanced dementia to move to a Care Home. Sadly it had to be done. However I feel we are so fortunate that we found Dulas Court because of the standard of care she receives, in a home where the ambience is one of great kindness.

My father has been at Dulas Court for over two years and is very content there. He receives kind, compassionate and dedicated care from everyone at the home from the care staff to the garden staff. We are so relieved to have found a home which can not only cater for my father's nursing and dementia
needs but that also provides the comfort of round the clock care and company. He has made good friends and there is always someone ready to help and support us on our dementia journey. The home and gardens are both spacious and beautiful. There is always a quiet space to enjoy a cup of tea or somewhere to go for a walk during visits. They go above and beyond to create a stimulating environment for those who are keen and everyone is made to feel welcome. We feel very lucky to be there and are eternally grateful to all the staff who work so tirelessly to look after him.
