My sister has been a resident for 20 years. Since her placement, I have seen her thrive and her behaviour and mood have improved beyond measure. Maycroft is a small home with a big family feel, and a stable staff group who go above and beyond to put the resident's needs first and foremost. Staff
work really hard to encourage and support residents to participate in activities of daily living as much as they can. They encourage each resident to exercise as much choice making and be as independent as possible. The home is well led with a great framework of support. Staff take residents out into the community everyday and are always looking for new ideas to try, with families being invited to join in as much as possible. Residents have many activities organised for them based on individual needs and abilities.Maycroft is a wonderfully happy home where my sister is VERY settled and happy and is her forever home. I'm very grateful to all the staff and I cannot recommend Maycroft enough
