Maycroft - "Structured holistic environment" Maycroft is an intensive support service in Birmingham and has a wealth of experience and expertise encouraging individuals to have a belief in reaching their full potential regardless of their ability. Maycroft provides person-centred residential support to service users with highly challenging learning disabilities in a homely environment.
The specialist staff team promote independence through developing sustainable solutions, engagement in education, employment and training and flexibility in varying intensity according to need. Behaviour Advisors work intensively alongside a team to support that team and the service user in positive behavioural support management.
Maycroft is located approximately 5 miles outside of Birmingham City Centre and just 5 miles off Junction 4 of the M42. Within 20 minutes drive of Maycroft, are several large shopping areas, these include Kings Heath, Solihull and Maypole.
Access to a broad range of varied facilities is available and these include a sensory area and hydropool at Salisbury Day Centre, massage/aromatherapy sessions, Matthew Boulton college, Rathbone College and Bourneville College.
