I felt I had to write this review to reassure any Son or Daughter thinking of placing their Mum or Dad in the care of the staff of Dyffryn Ffrwd Manor Care home.
I cannot praise every single member of staff enough for the love and care they have given my Mum over the last 20 months as well as the
love and support they have given us, her family.
Mum sadly passed away last week but she was cared for with quiet dignity and respect and the support we were given as a family at such a difficult emotional time was exemplary. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart for making the last 20 months a happy and joyful time for Mum and for supporting myself and the family through all the ups and downs of dealing with Mums advancing Dementia.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the manager and all the staff for the love, care, and respect shown to my mother-in-law, Ann, during her time here.
Having worked in the care sector for 30 years 10 as a Business Manager and 5 as a Customer Relations Manager within one of the UK's
leading residential dementia and nursing care organisations. I have a strong understanding of the standards expected. I can honestly say that every time I visited, I was reassured by the kindness, patience, and compassion consistently shown-not just to Ann, but to all residents.
Knowing Ann was cared for with such dignity and warmth brought us great comfort as a family. Thank you for everything you and your team have done-it will always be remembered with sincere gratitude.

Outstanding in every aspect.
Over the past few months I have witnessed care, compassion and kindness from an exceptional team at Dyffryn Ffrwd Nursing Home.
As a registered nurse and retired care home manager, I would without doubt, be happy for my Mum to be cared for here. The dedication of the
team, night and day, and I witnessed both first hand, is a joy to behold. They don't just look after the residents, they look after the loved ones too. It's wonderful to see and hear the staff loving what they do, there's laughter and fun and deep understanding of the individual needs of the residents. Thank you for everything.

My father has been receiving residential care at Duffryn FFrwd Manor for 3 months. The staff are attentive and caring across the range from domestic staff, caterers, carers, nursers, admin and management. They all engage with residents and their visitors in a professional yet friendly manner and
manage to make this feel like a real home and community. Thank you, everyone.

All staff were very helpful with all aspects of my wife's stay and care. My wife was there for respite for two weeks only it was the first time she had had respite but I would use this home again for her if it was available.

My dad has been at Duffryn Ffrwd for nearly 2 years. He settled in immediately and is very happy and content. All of the staff are very welcoming and treat him like one of their family. His friends and family enjoy visiting him. There is always something going on in the lounge, or his fellow
residents to chat to should he feel like joining in. Dad always looks clean, tidy and well cared for and has enjoyed every meal since he has been there. Duffryn Ffrwd has a lovely friendly, welcoming atmosphere which can be felt as soon as you walk through the door. We are so pleased Dad chose to live there.

My mother has been in the care home for 30 months. She is very, very happy. She needed the people and stimulation that the care home provided that I couldn't provide at home. The care home staff are all very friendly and can't do enough for the residents and their families. It didn't matter what
time of day you called in (before Covid) there was always something going on, and during Covid they have been fantastic. Sending photos, videos, messages and making sure we see our loved ones. They're always planning for something to so with the residents. Its been the very best decision we made for my mother.

The staff and management at the home are extremely helpful and caring towards my mother. My mother is very happy with her surroundings. As a result, I am very contented and do not have to worry about her.

Mum has been at Duffryn Ffrwd Manor for almost three years. We had looked around several other homes in the area and really liked the warm and caring atmosphere of Duffryn Ffrwd Manor and have always felt our decision was the right one for Mum in all ways. We very much like the ensuite bedrooms -
safe, facilities and view of lovely gardens. Food is excellent and plenty of it. Cleanliness throughout - excellent. Activities are excellent - particularly themed ones of Queen's birthday. Staff are very caring and dedicated. Treat Mum with the greatest respect. Mum is content and has dignity, cared for and safe.

Both mum and dad have lived at Duffryn Ffrwd Manor nursing home for the last three years. They have been kindly cared for and have been happy to share a room end to spend time together. As I don't live locally, the home has been always considerate to help me regularly speak with my parents when I
can't visit. I would highly recommend the home for providing a "home from home".

When my mother entered Duffryn Ffrwd, she was going downhill after a fall and stay in hospital. Thanks to their care and patience, she has now turned a corner. She is anointed and has her "mojo" back. We, as a family, cannot thank them enough! She has been there for 7-weeks and is happy and relaxed.
A wonderful transition. Thank you, Duffryn Ffrwd.
