Larchfield House has become a second home to me, thanks to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The team leaders, in particular, have played a crucial role. The management team is approachable and attentive. I cannot overstate the incredible impact that physiotherapy has had on my life since coming to Larchfield House. When I first arrived, I was paralyzed and could only move my left fingers, struggling with communication issues. Thanks to the dedicated and friendly physiotherapist, I have made significant progress in improving my muscle strength and overall well-being. Through rehabilitation sessions, I have regained the ability to sit in a recliner chair, engage with others residents and even walk with a zimmer frame. My communication skills have also improved drastically, allowing me to connect with those around me. In conclusion, my experience at Larchfield House has been transformative, thanks to the exceptional care and support provided by the staff and management team.

My sister recently moved into Larchfield House and I can honestly say the care she is receiving is outstanding. The staff are exceptional - not only highly professional and knowledgeable, but also warm, approachable and genuinely caring. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them, and it's clear they truly understand and meet her individual needs. I have complete confidence that my sister is in the very best place for her, and I am deeply grateful for the superb care and support she receives each day.

My husband has been so well cared for by everyone, nurses, activity team, physio. He always looks clean, well dressed and happy Larchfield is always a cheerful, happy place to visit and spend time, always feel welcome and included in a safe and secure envrionment.

My brother passed away in April this year. Throughout his 6+ years at Larchfield he could not have had better care from the Larchfield staff. They always went that extra mile. He was always kept spotless as was his room. Special attention was given to the food he was served, making sure it was puréed and easy to swallow. His end of life care was simply THE BEST and the way everything was handled was amazing. Thank you Larchfield for looking after him with such respect and dignity.

My auntie has been at Larchfield since 2020, and they have shown care and compassion beyond measure. The staff are so friendly and treat everyone as part of the family. Larchfield is kept very clean and tidy, would have no hesitation in recommending.

My husband has been in Avon unit for 3 and half years, his care and nursing and friendliness of the staff to me has been fantastic. He is now on end of life and even though he can be very aggressive the staff still treat him with respect and kindness. Larchfield is always clean and never smells. They deserve good scores. Keep it up.

My brother was admitted last autumn and has been cared for compassionately and expertly ever since by the dedicated and friendly staff at Larchfield House. The home is clearly a happy place, which you can sense the moment that you come through the front door. He is in good and safe hands, which is a great comfort for me, and the rest of his family, all of whom live overseas.

Mum has lived at Larchfield for over five years. I'm going to say it was a big change for Mum and in the first few months she made the staff at Larchfield work hard (that was an understatement). All the staff are amazing, caring, compassionate, humorous and friendly. Their care has undoubtedly resulted in the length of life Mum had in her final years. Not only have the staff in Cherwell been family to Mum, but they have also become my friends. Will miss you all.

My relative was well looked after for the four and a half years he spent at Larchfield. I feel he was extremely lucky to have received care at this home. The staff were all great. Very easy to deal with and kept me informed at all times.

Could not fault the care and attention Mum received throughout her three years at Larchfield House. Additionally, the team were always welcoming, smiling and positive whenever I visited, both at reception and those working on the floors themselves. During her stay, Mum had a number of health incidents and complications. The ward team consistently responded swiftly to each and every one of these demands. At all times they did so with obvious compassion and were always willing to 'go the extra mile' to ensure mum's comfort and care was assured.

My dad has been in Larchfield for nearly 7 years. During that time he has been treated with respect and kindness, love and compassion. All staff are professional and caring and go the extra mile to ensure Dad's needs are met.

I was very impressed with the standard of care given to my uncle. The members of the team responsible for his welfare treated him with kindness and respect. They were keen to ensure that he was comfortable and had everything that he needed. The home is very comfortable, modern and very welcoming.

Although my father was only at Larchfield for a short period of time, 3 months, before he passed away the care he received at Larchfield was excellent. Due to his dementia he could be demanding at times but the staff were always caring, professional and friendly. They ensured my father was safe and cared for at all times. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Larchfield for the care he received in his final few months.

My father sadly passed away in April but the care that staff showed was way above anything I expected. They look after the resident like they were their own family with compassion and patience. I will always be thankful to all the staff at Larchfield House.

My grateful thanks go to all the wonderful carers in the Test Community at Larchfield House. They looked after my dear husband for the last year of his life with such kindness and compassion and always with smiling faces. They made me feel so welcome during my visits, nothing was too much trouble, they gave me space and privacy with him when I needed it and good company and laughter on other days. I could not have wished for a better place, it helped to ease my anxiety knowing this team of amazing people really cared from their hearts and I will never forget their loving kindness to him and to me. For the clinical services manager, home manager and every single one of the wonderful team at Larchfield, thank you all so very much for looking after my mother for the last 9 years. It is the hardest thing to leave your mum in the care of others when you are many miles away, but I could not have wished for a better place. You should be so very proud of everything you do. On my regular visits, companions would comment how lucky we were to have such a well-maintained home. When she finally left us earlier this month, your dedication and care and support to us was exceptional. You will always have our gratitude for your amazing care. Thanks again.

Larchfield provides compassionate and appropriate care. It succeeds due to the quality of the staff. Nursing and care staff are kind, patient, friendly, gentle and very caring to both residents and relatives alike. Nothing is too much trouble. The on-site physiotherapist is highly trained, dedicated and caring. Residents look forward to his visits as they see him improve their mobility. The kitchen staff provide good home-made food and excellent cakes. Domestic and maintenance staff always ensure a very clean environment. The reception, office and management staff are always helpful and courteous. The activities team provide many and varied activities and entertainment, encouraging and supporting residents to join in. The portal is an excellent way of keeping informed about the life of one's relative. Thank you to all the staff.

It was a very hard decision to have my husband admitted into a care home, from stepping through the door back in 2021, I felt Larchfield House was a place where he would receive the professional 24/7 nursing care he needed. From his first day at Larchfield House, he settled in well, all staff were so attentive and caring. I used to ask him every morning during my visits 'are you happy', his reply was 'yes I am, everyone looks after me well'. He loved going upstairs to the HUB and spending time with the wonderful activity team, I also joined him during many of these sessions and I saw many happy residents have so much fun and quality time together. All the staff in every department work so hard to make residents feel they and are part of the Larchfield family, thank you all. When his time came in December 2023 and he needed palliative care, the care he received will always be remembered as outstanding. As his family, we thank you for your compassion and care.

My wife was admitted to Larchfield House Community and I am amazed by the care given by the staff. I can stay and have a coffee at the reception. The facility is very clean. I can't thank you enough for the wonderful service. I will come back as one of your residents.
