What's not to like about Broadwater Lodge ?! My husband is so well looked after by a very caring team, in an environment which is warm and safe, with excellent food to keep to feed the inner man! His dementia is well catered for by staff who understand the condition, and make every effort to involve
him in the various activities. Special milestones in his life are marked by a wonderful events team, which adds to the enjoyment ! In short, I am just so happy in the choice of this great care home, and can't recommend it highly enough.

Mum has been at Broadwater Lodge for three months after a flood at her property. She absolutely loves being there. The staff are all friendly, helpful and generally cannot do enough for their residents. There are plenty of fun and varied entertainments, each day, available. These range from
cookery to painting, drawing and Mum's very favourite, visiting musicians! Angie and her team make everyone feel they're special, in their own home but with a supporting hand steering behind to ensure their safely. Broadwater Lodge is a great place. I'm delighted my Mum is there..

My mother has been at Broadwater Lodge Godalming for the 2 years and I can honestly say that this is an amazing care home, they literally saved her life after time in the most awful previous home.
The place is lovely with lots of activities, and the staff are brilliant.

My mother is in her mid-nineties and suffers from dementia. She has been a resident of Broadwater Lodge for over 4 years now and whilst she thinks she would rather not live in a care home, agrees that she can find nothing wrong and indeed mostly everything is good about it. Broadwater Lodge is a
warm, friendly welcoming inclusive home with professional caring staff. I can't speak highly enough of the positive happy attitude and vibe that resonates as soon as you enter the front door. It makes one feel part of one big happy family. There is a full and varied programme of activities for residents to participate in if they want to. My mother is not always so keen to join in some of the activities but she is always invited to. She does however enjoying the lakeside walks in fine weather, visits to Jen's hair salon, coffee mornings and chatting to everyone that stops to talk to her. I am confident that she receives the best possible care in this wonderful community.

My dad has been at Broadwater Lodge for nearly two years now, and the difference in him has been incredible. He looks so much happier and healthier, which gives our family great peace of mind.
Broadwater Lodge is a wonderful care home, and I'm truly grateful for the care he receives. All the staff
are lovely, welcoming, and genuinely caring. I would highly recommend Broadwater Lodge to anyone looking for a high-quality, compassionate care home.

Mum has been in Broadwater Lodge for a year now, and is so settled and content here which is lovely for us as a family to see. This is all down to the hard work and care of the amazing team working there. Everybody shows true care and love to the residents, and nothing is ever too much trouble.
The
residents are highly stimulated through regular activities, which my mum thoroughly enjoys, which range from the local children's nursery visits to pamper sessions, painting, entertainers and much much more.
The care home is always spotless, and there is always a choice at mealtimes (and an amazing cake trolley that appears in the afternoons!)
After being reluctant for mum to have to make this move, she now could not be in a better place, that is filled with wonderful people.

We were so worried about moving mum into a home but she has settled into Broadwater Lodge and is surrounded by love and caring wonderful people. Angie and her amazing team go above and beyond to look after their residents needs, they are an exceptional team, and we never have to worry about mum. I
love going to see mum as it is such a warm, friendly and homely place, so much so mum has asked me to move in a couple of times, she says I would love it, that says it all! Mum joins in with the activities that Nic and Doreen put on which are so much fun, there is always something going on. Mum loves the farm animals, hair salon and having her nails done, and she joins in with the dancing and singing, they have some amazing entertainers going in regularly, and mum can relax and be herself. It's 10 out of 10 from me!

My grandmother has been at this care home for the past year. Although she was initially reluctant to move into such a facility, she's since been humbled by the warmth, compassion, and professionalism shown by the management, support staff, and activity teams. The sense of community and care has made
her feel like part of a family. I'm able to visit freely and am always welcomed with open arms. Knowing this is where she'll spend the remainder of her life isn't easy-but I feel reassured, grateful, and humbled that she's in such a safe, respectful, and well-cared-for environment.

The amazing staff here added life to my mother's years as well as 5 unexpected years to her life! Aside from the fabulous and thoughtful facilities ( small farm, hair and nail salon, fairy garden/ hedgehog hideout etc) what makes it is kind, thoughtful , caring staff who always go the extra mile.
One of very few places to be " gold standard" rated for dementia care their skills, techniques and experience at avoiding drama are vital for people suffering memory loss or confused. When mum first went in there she was anti personal care; not keen on eating , lethargic and somewhat confrontational. After a while there she was enjoying sociable mealtimes, the afternoon treat trolley ( cakes or similar) visits from local nursery school or entertainers and long pamper sessions! Despite needing a wheelchair more recently she went for meals out, theatre and local park visits. Cannot speak highly enough of this caring team ( from someone who was v sceptical of homes and checked 18 out!)

My mum has been in Broadwater Lodge for a year now and is very happy, we find all the staff are very kind and helpful, we enjoy visiting her and feel very welcomed. It's nice to know that the care home fully understand my mum's illness and the staff always show care and attention to my mum and us.

Whenever I visit my mother-in-law at Broadwater Lodge, I always find her happy and well cared for.
Every member of staff I've had contact with is extremely professional, approachable and kind.
There is always something going on to engage the residents, from film night to nursery children
visiting, to quizzes and visiting singers.
As a family, we could not be happier with the care and dignity given to my mother-in-law.

Broadwater Lodge has looked after my friend with great diligence and taken good care of him. If they have any concerns, they communicate them to me quickly. The staff are always approachable, friendly and clearly have the best interests of the residents at heart. There are a lot of activities that
take place; it is a fun place. And yet for those who wish to be alone, there are many spaces to do so. The stimulation provided by the animals outside cannot be overestimated. My friend has become happier than I would have thought possible having been at Broadwater Lodge; a great place!

Up until March 2024, my mother had spent 5 years living in the home, until sadly she died. Mum joined just as Covid started. Bearing in mind I had to make the decision for Mum to go in a home, this was the worst possible time for this to happen, especially as she spent 2 weeks in a hospital without
access to myself. Difficult for Mum, and incredibly hard for myself and my wife, especially considering the the restrictions that were imposed.
More importantly, the pressure that the staff in the care home were under was so ridiculously high. And yet, they did not fail to deliver an outstanding service for all the residents at a cost to themselves and their own families.
So few people witnessed this including the government. I witnessed it and I will be forever grateful to all the staff and Care UK for an exceptional gift of giving, love, warmth, genuine caring for the vulnerable, which one of them was, my mum.

I regularly visit my father-in-law who has been at Broadwater for almost a year now. I am always impressed by the attitude of the staff and they are always so attentive to the residents. I am also impressed with the activities on offer and during December there was a whole variety of entertainment
in the lead up to Christmas. I have been fortunate enough to support my father-in-law at a local Christmas Party, and a summer Sports Day. It is great to see the residents smiling and enjoying different activities.

My mother-in-law was there for about a year and absolutely loved being there. The staff were very kind and caring, she enjoyed all the activities on offer. Unfortunately, she suddenly became nursing care due to a fall. We were all very
upset she could not return to Broadwater Lodge. Wish she was
there now compared to where she is now.

Once again, Broadwater Lodge Care Home has excelled in making their sports day a great success with fun and games for everyone. My mother has been a resident there for eighteen months. Visiting most days, the staff are always friendly and chatty and nothing is too much trouble. Mum enjoys the
activities the entertainment team organise which are very varied; guest singers, performers, local nursery school visits etc. Touring the grounds with the pigs, goats, chickens and Biscuit, the shetland pony, is a real enjoyment for her. The staff are so caring to everyone's needs it gives my sister and I comfort to know she is in safe hands and is happy living there. Thank you to everyone who works there so hard, it really is appreciated.

Broadwater Lodge is a very friendly, open and honest care home. They provide daily, amazing activities for their residents. I receive monthly updates on my mum''s well-being as well as regular phone calls on what's been happening with Mum's care and if I have any concerns. I would definitely
recommend Broadwater Lodge and will continue to support their amazing staff where I can.

The staff are always so cheerful and helpful and display a real caring attitude towards the residents.
They make the home so comfortable for the residents who all seem happy and restful there.
There is a positive air as you enter the home and it makes visiting a pleasure as it is a pleasant
experience, I can't thank them enough.

The staff are always so cheerful and helpful and display a real caring attitude towards the residents.
They make the home so comfortable for the residents who all seem happy and restful there.
